We are the harbingers of life and life confronts us with us. But life is not what's advertised on TV. Life is not your fondest memory. Life is not what once was or what you hope will be. Life is now, for all the better and for all the worse. And when you see that all is better, when you see it all, worse becomes just another part of life, an expectation.

You will lose everything. Your family, your friends, your enemies, your belongings, your mind, your body, your memories, your recollection of any of this. But you will gain the universe, as you have before (and will again).

And the things you've tasted here in the ordinary moments, the everyday. The things you've seen, the day, shone by the sun. The things you've felt and heard but never were able, may never be able, will never be able, to fully explain. The things you've tasted here are like things you've never thought you'd know - or wouldn't know how to. But somehow you've come to know them, to understand. And you use your understanding to float in space, to live on.

Life is not a great climax. Life is not a grand crescendo. Life is consistent and eternal, but always changing - never the same, fleeting and new. Sameness breeds dullness and life is never dull. The mind can be dulled, the mind can go bored, but the world will go on.

Something deep inside of you will know of a constant wonder. Of this constant wonder. A wonder for the sake of it. The one you knew when you were born, the world you saw then. It still exists. It still begs your attention and interacts with you. Playful as it always was, always has been. Sending you signs and signals - the water drops in a morning shower, the way the sun gets in your eyes when you walk outside and know the animals and plants surround you. Still playing the game of life like the day before, and the day before that, and working towards the present.

The day before this you can recall, but that day is gone forever. A past revolution of the earth, burned off nitrogen from the sun. The sun has better things to do now. The sun has now to worry about. It loves now. Feeds it. As we feed off it. As we are and have been for a long time.

An infinite amount of memories and specific instances, glimpses, make up the collective movement that is all life. All of life is moving together, like a reflex or a push.

A fishbowl as a microcosm of the world itself. We forget this. That we're in it. We get so caught up in things - school, work, goals, ideas, ideals, hopes - past, future. And still the whole time life just slips on and we enter the (revolving circle).

"Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans."

Fantasy land of false pleasures, distractions. The mind's taking you into its tornado until it runs you out, nothing left. And you flee to it - into it - go further into the funnel cloud. Are we afraid to improve ourselves? We can absorb energy. So why not use it for the good? Why not use it for harmony? Why not use it to grease the friction between us and enforce the synergy so as to become a better species?

Cooperation is our middle name. We've used it for millennia to get where we're at today. So why can't we cooperate with everyone and anywhere, all the time. Why do we pick and choose? Why get lost in our created world of nations, tribes, sides, black and white?

Being is understood as it is.

Being is understood as being is.

Being is as it is.

Being is as being is.

Relinquish the understood.

We are the beings and we know we're the beings prior to this

We must envision our world now and new. We must not think that things will be resolved in the future. We have to force those resolutions today through compassion, communication, and humbleness. To Day.

Will we exist in animal darkness forever? Always afraid of our neighbor, our shadow, ourselves, us? Or will we embrace our birth and our death as one, and see the truth that surrounds us, the life that's around us?

People lived in ignorance for hundreds of thousands of years - the wrong kind of mindlessness. Now we can be mindless without being ignorant. The perfect form. A perfect storm to unite us as one.

You can get lost in your hopes, you can get caught in your fantasies, but still:

It just keeps going on within you, without you, in you, and out of you. And before you know it more time has passed. But when you take the time away, all that's passed is past. Let it go.

All that's past has passed.

You must embrace your death. You must see how eternal life is and how temporary too. How temporary death is and how you will live again and again and again. And you too are temporary.

You were a part of past civilizations, past tribes, past generations. But now you are apart from them. They are the past. Apart from the past. A part of the now.

Apart from the past. A part of the now.

The future is an ideal, an idea. It is: goals, hopes, standards, predictions. But it is not you. You are now. Just look in the mirror.

That *you* in the mirror is not the you of ten years ago. And it will not be the you ten years from now. That you is moving dust. Earth dust. Earth dust moving and feeding off earth to move. New cells and updated tissue. Organic, actual, tangible, beautiful. Something so fantastic it's incomprehensible. Each one of us is fleeting, but eternal as the whole. Each of us representing a place and space in an event, a current that is real. The current of life as the current moment we now live in.

An event suspended and supplying itself. Timelines are irrelevant, they pinpoint made-up things.

A moist, organic, untamed earth breeds a species that can reason. Whatever a species is, whatever reason is, this is an unlikely event. In a place that is mostly darkness, sun's light spins todays. To our Today. Plants spring up proud and unafraid, though they are fragile. Animals fight for their lives as if they'll live forever. And they will. Their dying will give them life. Your dying will give you life. Seeds renew our form.

Accept the death of everything, that everything you've surrounded yourself with, the stuff you thought made *you* will fade as your senses will. Will change, as you have. And back into the circle, back into the circle. Back into the circle you never left. But you must accept your death. You must realize your death so you can realize your life.

Without a crucifixion, there can be no resurrection. Without a death, there can be no hope.

This is why the bear defends her cubs, why the mother and father put their children before themselves. Why a plant's goal is to not only live but to bear the fruit that holds its seeds. They don't anticipate the death, they know it. They know it without realizing it, without reasoning it. To them it is as imperative as life. As perfect as life.

Without the death, there can be no life.

Without the life, there can be no death.

Without the light, there can be no darkness.

Without the darkness, there can be no light.

The sun shines light onto our lives and provides it to us. But without the night, without the darkness, what is there to see?

Your mind, your thoughts, your opinions, they're blocking the sunlight of your spirit. Getting in the way and make you a definition in a universe undefinable. Your spirit does not fear death, your spirit does not fear life. Your spirit walks into the dark and into the light with the same confidence. Like a plant or as an animal. The confidence of a determined being. Built for survival. Built for life.

And you can be like the animals - the animal you are - but without all the fear and instinct. You can have control once you relinquish control. You can have it all once you realize you must give it all up. Poignant, unimaginable, inescapable, real. That you'll die, that everyone will die. That you are an animal that wants to survive. That things are unpredictable. Use your reason to balance out your life, not block the things you are afraid to realize. Balance your mind and your life.

Beings built to experience life float around somewhere on a rock in the universe.

dancing,

crying,

laughing.

Totally unaware

that the medium is the message.

Enjoy your life instead of spending all your time preparing for its end. And make it better, so that others can know the joys you've felt in this. So that the most beautiful and timeless moments of your life - in truth, all of them - can be experienced in full by others. See your life as the naked life it is. Become a spiritual being in an animal world.

Your life. You're life. You are life. You are your life. And together we are life.

It's raining, it's snowing, there's a hurricane a'blowing. And here we are, just dancing and singing and crying and laughing. Earth keeps spinning. Sun keeps passing its light to us. So that we can see. So that we may be.

We have the ability to not only survive but to survive well and prosper. All of us. Universal peace, comfort, understanding, and harmony are a possibility. Possible if we use our utilities. Transient if we don't. The earth has given us everything to find ourselves, to reconnect with it, to survive, to communicate, to empower ourselves, and power ourselves too. But this is not a given. Just as our species has worked to get *here*, it must work to get *here* moreover, and moreover again.

So much giving by earth. So much taking by us. Will we return its gratitude or continue to block its sunlight, cowering behind our flags of ideas and our animal convictions. The earth demands our humbleness. The earth demands us, itself. That we work together towards survival. That we survive and make a heaven on earth. That we recognize our condition and embrace it, so as to rise above it and become aware.

The outer is communicating to us

Or is it through us?

It's through us and to us!

And we reflect it back!

to us

By communicating with it, we reflect ourselves - it - and become a new kind of lightness. The lightness of light, of day, of life.

We understand ourselves as beings - that "beings" are a thing already understood.

We understand our life as being - that "being" is a thing already understood.

Things understood.

Inherent.

Already.

A thing coming into being. A thing constantly unfolding. Without our help, guidance, or oversight. We are the universe experiencing itself, reflecting it, interacting with it, and going along with it. That's called life, brother.

You must embrace the fact you'll lose everything, realize there's no other way.

There's so many distractions. So many ways to massage the mind and forget about what's really happening around you. Masses massaging their minds. People are being born and dying every minute, all over the world. Leaving and arriving, and you're one of them. And your time will come to die and be born again into this.

There's no explaining it. It just is. It's as clear as day. As clear as the world the sun's revealing to you. You just woke up into it and you can move and dance and feel it. Feel your abs absolutely ignite. You can do the tango. You can do the cha-cha. This is the big enchilada, mama, papa.

But we have to change the way we're doing things. Things can't go on like they are. People all over are sad and hopeless and it's a shame. You've seen it. I've seen it. You've felt it. I've felt it. We've all been there. Trying to hold on to things that won't hold. Points in time - people, ways of seeing the world.

We have to embrace the present, but not in that way. We have to embrace the present as an eternal thing, not as the animal situation we happen to find ourselves in right now. This will pass away. But it won't. Seeds carrying on our makeup and DNA.

We treat life as if it's just another condition, when in truth, it is the condition. You can't fix life with prescriptions, false hopes, fantasies, renditions. You have to take it as it is and realize it's not always going to be this way.

Either we're going to improve our condition, the world, our life, or we're going to go extinct. Either way things are going to go on. The sun's still going to shine. The entire human race could be wiped out, and the sun's still going to shine. It shines for life and for death, because the two are one in the same. There's alway something else out there dancing.

But who wants that? Who wants the human race to go down like that? It's taken us MILLIONS of years to reach this point. It took the earth BILLIONS of years of proper conditioning to get to this point, why sacrifice it over arguments that make no sense, over temporary feel-goods. Mind games that go nowhere except HERE... NOW... THIS. Either way it's going to happen, so why not go along with it?

Why the resistance? Why are we afraid of the life we're given?

Too much, too much... a heartbeat, lungs breathing, trembling... Life is a lot to handle, love. So we invent the some-day, the has-been. We distract ourselves with technology and fast-paced neural play.

Everlasting Love

Love is eternally present no matter what we do or think, so why is it that people have difficulty sharing love with another human being for a long period of time? Media depictions of love, sexuality, and relationships are geared toward fantasy, entertainment and exploitation, rather than reality and informative purposes. Romance, passion and excitement are crucial selling points of movies, television programs and modern music. Many people are influenced by this pleasurable fantasy, and they seek and expect its manifestation in reality. Love endures and remains, while the dreams, emotions and fantasies are impermanent and fleeting. We must learn to share this omnipresent ocean of Love that flows between the shores of our souls.

Passionate, emotionally-charged feelings make choppy the waves of love. These waves tumultuously toss people involved in relationships based on passion and romance up and down, throwing them out of balance. This carnal, emotional attraction comes and goes, but spiritual, intimate love lasts. Commitment, caring, and honest self-disclosure are the structural components of lasting love. To maintain these structural components, we must base our relationships on “what is” rather than “what we think should be,” on reality and truth rather than fantasy and illusion.

Commitment reflects a vow to remain with someone no matter how life unfolds, through pleasure and pain, peace and hardship. This commitment truly lasts when we commit to love itself, to life itself, instead of being determined to please or control each others’ desiring minds. By committing to the presence of Life/Love/God and the quest to become more aware of it, perceived divisions between beings dissolve. Life gives itself to us unconditionally, and when people commit to this love affair, they open the present and rise to the newness of Love. A lasting, spiritual love is realized and shared between two beings, who dance in harmony and intimacy as Love unfolds unto Love.

Caring about reality and honesty is essential to loving unshakably without fear. Every one of us attributes worth to everything in life, which sets our intent on certain priorities that are aligned with what we care about. Each person’s life must be “valued as an end in itself” instead of being valued by how each person can be used. Lasting love is shared when people recognize and treasure the spirit, humanity, and uniqueness of one another. Caring about physical appearance, passion, and pleasure keeps relationships from being sustainable and fulfilling. Lasting love is shared when we intend on the life within, around and throughout us. To neglect the nurturing of the life within ourselves, our significant other, or our children would be detrimental to attaining and retaining Love everlasting.

Consistently engaging in honest self-disclosure is an important communicative element to building truthful trust, a necessity if people are to partake in the dance of Life with a partner. Self-disclosure is the revealing of our hopes, our fears, and our everyday thoughts to others so that we may be mentally naked with each other. Dishonesty, manipulation, and deception build up walls between one another, and the integrity of the relationship is slowly crumbled. We must seek to understand, in order to be understood. Without mutual, honest communication, this seeking will not be fruitful. We cannot be open to Love, synchronically savoring the blissful presence our being alive, if we remain opaque and hidden.

Lasting love is shared when our perception is cleared of falsehood, when the dust is swept off the mirror of Life that we are. When people commit to and care about this quest for truth, and walk the path together, honest communication (verbal and non-verbal) and genuine expression naturally occur. We are communicating all the time, with and without vocalization, and imprecision and misinterpretation of these messages abound when people are not conscious of their deep, spiritual connection. The foundation of an enduring relationship is not passion and emotion, but honesty and truth. If the relationship has an unshakeable foundation based on “that which is,” the communication will be honest, expression (including sexual) will be genuine, and intimate love will last.

Simply being with one another and loving without fear is possible if both people intend on becoming more aware of the limitless, undying Love that flows within us and without us. One-hundred billion neurons in the human brain manifest an interconnected, fluctuating network of patterns and perceptions. This network extends throughout the entire human body which shares the body of the universe, responding to itself in compensation, operating and molding toward equilibrium. Life moves in an infinite rhythm of perfection. We are aware of life unfolding, but not in control of it. Love unfolds unto Love. Beings that help themselves and each other seek to become more aware of these truths merge eternally, experiencing the journey of Life together, uniting with All That Is.

Illusions shatter before our interconnected presence, mentally (and sometimes physically) bare. These patterns spontaneously stream, a progression of ink - And I think, reflect, visualize, analyze, breathe the air - in an attempt to comprise an image, of you, of us in marriage... but I quickly realize.. know.. sense.. that you, sweetheart - are as familiar to me as the light I now see, as bark to a tree, as a greenie to Pampie. With such intimate acquaintance of endless newness, life erases attachments to any mental representation of thee -- So, here, around-within-of infinity, quite simply, so obviously, it occurs to me, our union founded on truth, ordained by the universe, makes you

We are only conscious in the present moment. Life is always happening in the present moment, being created, evolving, omnipresent - within us, throughout us, and all around us. All of what receive is perpetual newness, flowing through us, about us, without us.

We are the Receiver of life - the Universe experiencing itself consciously, sensually, emotionally, cognitively, intuitively, Infinitely - the Nothingness that is filled with Everything moving in perfect balance - the Oneness of Totality. We are NOT what is impermanent - what the mind creates - the fleeting, shifting patterns - the stories, thoughts, emotions, and perceptions themselves.

What we are is Infinite - the very awareness... consciousness... experience of Reality - focused infinitely amongst continuous patterns of Life moving toward balance and working in harmony to manifest a myriad of bodies so that Life may experience itself -- LOVE itself.

From head to toe, intestinal fluid to skin, organ to bone, blood to bile, neuron to chromosome, cell to electron, etc. - the body functions and repairs itself intricately and automatically... the ensemble of the Universe flowing without sympathy - with inherent integrity - and we all share the body of the Universe - receiving itself by sense, perceiving by mind.

Life's blueprints - "genes" - guide the development of Life's order - Life's infinitely detailed experiment, experiencing itself from an infinite amount of unique perspectives. Entire bodies presently create themselves - each establish from that Moment of Love where two become one. You are Zero, open to all of Life - the ever-evolving Awareness - destined to live for living's sake - by way of inspiration, the breath of Being.

There is no separation in the Universe - only Oneness. Division is illusory. Control is illusory. What divides and tries to control is deceitful. Life is All That Is.

Woefully, we identify with the infinite patterns of life - with the perceptions our minds manifest - as a substitute for and in place of the Unity of Life. We live as finite minds instead of the Infinite Self, which is eternally present, sharing Life with fellow, interconnected beings in the vast web of Collective Affinity.

Anything spoken in words, cannot be the Living Truth. "The tao that can be told is not the eternal Tao. The name that can be named is not the eternal Name." Yet - don't be satisfied with and deceived by proverbs, convictions, feelings, traditions, rituals - for "that which is" can only be known directly, but the mind can only perceive indirectly - thus, we must know how "that which is" works to overcome the mind. There is no way around using these rational minds we have to find, define, learn, and spread the truth about life and death, the truth about Oneness.....

Why do Bad Things Happen to Good People?

An eternal question: Why do bad things happen to good people?

The perception of "deserve" is illusory. The dichotomy of good and bad is illusory. Everything physical goes in cycles, whether it be up-down waves, on-off switching, positive-negative force, etc. The universe we live in moves in perfect balance, no matter what we think, no matter what we do or do not do.

It follows that the eastern interpretation of Karma is not accurate:

"Most people think that what you do will have an effect on your future life, even after death; what you do will come back to you, etc. It is not true. Doing something, bad or good, to or for someone will not create the good and bad in your future life. It is balanced; it just happens no matter what you do. The balance makes everyone’s life fair, just, equal and perfect, but it is not influenced by any actions you take, good or bad. You are never a victim of anyone. Everything that happens is always life creating balance. Your only choice is to see it for what it is, or not see it."

It also follows that the morality of western religion and the "requirements" to get to heaven are inaccurate and misinterpreted, because recognizing the balance strips away free will and destiny at the same time, leaving only the present moment. You are not your mind - you are not in the past and/or future. The bio-electric activity in your brain is not you. It is physical, so those neurons firing in patterns is life creating balance. To know the balance is to know that there is no "you" that has control over life. You are the receiver of it all, of life.

Having no free will, no control, is frightening to the mind, because it is beyond the mind. What the balance means is confusing and even terrifying, because it renders obsolete the morality that keeps society functioning, the morality that keeps the beast within us suppressed and tamed. This morality is based on flaky concepts and feelings like compassion and empathy, and on false religious beliefs. Law enforcement is different, because it directly opposes the beast. If the balance of life just happens on its own and is not influenced by any actions you take, what is stopping people from reverting back to our instinctual nature to satisfy animal pleasures? What is stopping people from raping and torturing others? What motivates people to help others? In truth, what you do to other people does not affect them, no matter what you do. Everything that happens is always life creating balance.

If this sounds crazy, check it out for yourself. Once it really hits you and becomes obvious, it will make you very uncomfortable.

This is dangerous stuff. If there is no such thing as "deserve," no control over life, no consequences to behavior, a fear is instilled as thoughts manifest of people tearing each other apart in a frenzy. Why is this fear so strong? It is because the beast is within you too. We have evolved with these instincts all throughout evolution, and we have not overcome them. They are tamed by an illusory morality that makes civilization and society possible.

Mankind is like an island in the sea of animal life. Life became self-aware in the last 20,000 years when we became indirectly aware of our environment and connected to the collective unconscious on the level of the modern mind. Since then, the rational mind has become more capable and more aware, more apt to receive inspirations like language, music, art, religion, logic, science, etc. Relatively speaking, the mind of man has catalyzed all leaps in progress and discovery to get us to where we are today in a very short time period compared to 700 million years of evolution. Despite the achievements of the human race, the beast within has not been overcome, and it operates from its hiding place. Our modern minds have searched for truth, distorted our direct awareness of life, and hidden the instinctual mind that roars within us and runs this world. The major problem right now is that people have stopped searching for truth and are lost in myths and/or caught up in the mind games and pleasures of this world. We must go all the way and use our rational minds to seek and learn the fundamental truth of life, which is now being revealed and spread with the internet. For the first time in history, we can and must, as a species, connect to the collective unconscious on the level of universal truth. Without the truth, we are nothing more than smart animals. The truth is very scary to the mind, but it is essential that we face it. To seek the truth, face the truth, and use it to overcome the deceptive mind of this world and the instinctual mind is the next step in evolution, and we must do it consciously in these bodies.

The current morality that keeps the beast suppressed would not hold up if the basic necessities of survival were unavailable to the masses. Extreme thirst and hunger would release the beast, and in tandem with our imaginative, fantasizing minds, things could get uglier than ever before very fast. The truth brings forth a new morality, a real, unshakable morality. This morality is to be the foundation of our global society if the human race is to overcome the beast within and survive. It is incredibly important that the morality that the truth creates is there to instantly replace the current, false morality when we become aware of the balance and what it means. Thus, it must be presented and clarified.

“It is almost as if you were frantically constructing another world while the world that you live in dissolves beneath your feet, and that your survival depends on completing this construction at least one second before the old habitation collapses.” - Tennessee Williams

Knowledge of the balance does not remove responsibility for behavior. Now you are responsible for seeing the truth of the balance and living in the center of the extremes. Knowledge of the balance does not negate the golden rule: Do unto others as you would have done unto yourself. You cannot hurt or help anyone. Literally, everything you do is for yourself. When you know the truth, you know that hurting or helping others is hurting or helping yourself. What goes around comes around. In a universe that moves in perfect balance, giving is receiving. There is noone judging you except for yourself.

So, back to the question posed at the beginning of this post. Why do bad things happen to good people? Since the question has been torn apart at the very seams, it will be reworded: Why does the perception of bad things happening to good people even exist?

The answer: The masses are not yet consciously aware of the balance. Our physical environment is always a manifestation of the balance, so to not be aware of the balance is to live in ignorance of what pervades our very existence and experience.

With the growth of global communication technology, we are able to see what is happening around the globe, and it is becoming increasingly obvious that humans do not live in harmony with the balance. Thus, it follows that we do not live in harmony with each other, the planet we all share, and life itself.

The gap between the very rich and very poor continues to grow, and the middle class continues to dwindle. People who live on much more than they need, who chase pleasure and blow money on expensive things that they don't need, represent one of the extremes. People who cannot afford to clothe themselves, who struggle to live without clean water and go to bed starving each night, represent the other extreme. Poverty leads to religious fanatics, violence, and other animal behavior to get the basic necessities of life or some fulfillment. Without awareness of the balance, these extremes persist. It is hard for people living in these extremes to see the truth, because the wealthy are caught up in the money/pleasure game, and the poor are struggling to survive. Unless the rich and well-to-do see the balance and give/share what they don't need, this vicious greed-poverty cycle will persist, and it will destroy our environment and the human race.

We see that our world is blind to the balance by observing how people behave, how they lead their lives. It doesn't matter what people talk about, say they are into, or think they know. All that matters is what they do, how they live, because it shows where they are at, what level of the collective unconscious they are connected to. At present, nowhere near the majority of people aspire to simplify their lives, live modestly, and show their moderation to all men, and this is because nowhere near the majority of people are consciously aware of the balance. The rich chase pleasure and put on a show to get others to envy them and deceive themselves and others into thinking they have a fulfilling life. This is an illusion. The poor and even middle class aspire to get rich, to have more things, to be as fulfilled as the wealthy, famous, and well-to-do appear to be. This is a delusion. The mind is deceiving everyone with appearances, while the instinctual mind runs this world with greed and pleasure from its hiding place.

As alluded to throughout this post and others, there is no other way to move beyond these false perceptions than to see the truth and live in it. On an individual level, we must seek the truth and do what it dictates for ourselves. If enough people just save themselves, our world will reflect that change. A critical mass must become consciously aware of the truth and aim to live in the center of the extremes so that the veil of deception and ignorance will be lifted from this world. The way is to find, define, and spread the truth while moving towards simplicity. Are you on path?

No Other Way

The only way to true, eternal life is by way of truth.
There is no other way.

The mind blocks and distorts the pure, present, direct life experience by essentially editing your life by converting what you receive through your senses into thoughts, words, feelings and emotions - mind perceptions. The mind is more open to life (out of the way) when you experience new, pleasurable and exciting things, but then it closes you more to life more permanently if you do not know the truth, because it attaches that newness, pleasure and excitement to the past and future, and you want more than what is present. The many faces of the mind fool people into thinking there is something better, something more - but abundant life is here now. Everything people are motivated to do is to get fulfillment, to fill the emptiness, but the things the mind does just make it impossible to be completely fulfilled. These faces of the mind make themselves easily recognized when you observe intellectual pursuit of unnecessary knowledge and information, religious belief, chasing wealth and power, ritual, pleasure seeking, other distractions and everything else the mind leads people in circles with.

To surpass the biggest illusion is to realize that you are not your mind. Then, you must realize what that means. It means that there is no "you" that has control over life. The essence of what you are is eternal, for pure awareness/consciousness is always present. It always has been and always will be, because the universe does not waste anything, including consciousness, it just changes form. When a body can no longer function and harbor consciousness, it dissolves and manifests again, "moves" to the next body, the next world, based on the level of awareness attained in the last body. This is evolution, and we have been through the entire evolutionary process here on earth to get to where we are now. Could it be any other way?

Just as you (consciousness) receive life, you receive what the mind creates. "Your mind" is bio-electric and chemical activity in your brain, neurons firing and communicating, manifesting perceptions of the environment. We receive input directly from life and sensory systems in our bodies undergo complex transduction mechanisms to sense life, to see, hear, feel, smell and taste the present, to be conscious and aware. These mechanisms move in balance, and a signal is sent to the brain almost instantaneously, which activates balanced on/off firing of neurons which start chain reactions of neuron firing and chemical release. Familiar pathways of firing form as the neuronal network is molded by experience, and the mind perceptions form, interpreting life and forming memories. As the mind perceptions get stronger, the direct experience of life gets weaker, and experience is filtered through the mind.

Realize how intense it is to be in your body right now. There are countless processes happening in your body at any given time. The heart beats, blood is pumped, cells are reproduced, hormones are distributed, life is transduced into sensory signals which fire neuronal cascades into thoughts, emotions, feelings, mind perceptions... You are not in control of any of it, it just happens and balances on its own. There is no escaping this temporary body the consciousness (you) is focused in, no escaping the balancing force, no escaping the order of the universe.

Everything in your body just happens on it's own, on autopilot, including the brain activity and mind, just as everything outside of your skin happens on it's own. Everything physical is held together in balance, moving toward balance. The universe would fall apart if it was not constantly balancing itself. Can you think of one process or thing that does not balance out eventually and is not held together in balance? It is not any different for your body and physical mechanisms transducing sensory experience. You are the receiver of the sensory input and resulting perception, the receiver of life, so everything that happens to you is life creating balance. All pleasure will be balanced by an equal amount of pain, so why seek it? There is no point in chasing the pleasures of this world.

The previous paragraphs are just a taste of what you will find in The Present, and a detailed expression of them is not the purpose of this post. The Present explains the ultimate truth in the most clear, complete and accurate way in the history of mankind. Anyone who disagrees should submit an entry to the Truth Contest. The purpose of this post is to explain that there is no other way to true life except to use the truth to overcome the mind. The first step is to read The Present in its entirety, and then read the last section, No Other Way, several times. Then, to live in the truth, you must take the next step and give back to the truth by spreading it or helping others who have dedicated their lives to spreading truth by financially and physically supporting them. If you help and financially support those who actively spread the truth, they will be able to do it full time, which will significantly help you (the giver) and give the human race a chance at survival. Because this universe moves in balance, you have to give to receive. Giving = Receiving is not just a moral code; it is an eternal, unchanging law of the universe we live in.

If you do not understand the truth and what it means, then keep seeking it while spreading what you do understand about it until you know it completely. What could possibly be more important than learning the truth about your own life and death?

If you think you already know, you don't, because the truth is the opposite of what you think. I am not trying to be a jerk or put you down or anything else your mind thinks - I am just being honest and trying to help. Everything on this blog is sharing exactly what I would want shared with me. Whether it is received by others or not, I am talking with myself and realizing what I understand. Even if you are a guru or religious leader or practitioner, even if you have studied under the most renowned spiritual leaders, even if you have been meditating everyday for 50 years, even if you have a PhD and a fortress of intellect, keep seeking truth. Many people think that they already know the truth, but it is a trick of the mind to get them to stop seeking in exchange for comfort in belief and mind certainty. Many people think they do not need to know the truth about life and death, about the big picture, and think they can get in the present through a guru, or through meditation and ritual. This is just a trick of the mind to get people to skip the intellectual, rational truth. There is no "act of surrender" - what you are is already surrendered, you just have to get the mind out of the way, and since you have a rational mind, you need the rational truth to overcome it. The mysteries of life and the mind itself are hidden until YOU put on the mind of truth (learn the truth in words) and use it to overcome the mind of man and the instinctual mind. No one else can do it for you.

The Sufis have a saying that "doubt is the beginning of all wisdom." Without doubt, there is no searching. Without searching, there is no discovery. Without discovery, there is perpetual blindness. Do not get too comfortable and certain in your beliefs and perceptions, no matter how popular and reassuring they are.

Reason is what we have evolved, and we must use it to evolve further. To overcome the mind, you must seek and learn the intellectual/word truth, and then give back to the truth by helping to spread the truth or by supporting those who actively spread it, even if no mind understands what you are doing. The time to just study and try to get into life is over. We must take the next step and become modern prophets and spread the truth that is being revealed. There is NO OTHER WAY. No other way to unite the human race, no other way to turn this world right side up, no other way for you to consciously live in perpetual perfection.

True Rebellion

What happens during the years between childhood and adulthood leads almost everyone to be buried in deception for the rest of their lives. The teenage years in this world encompass a desperate attempt to find one's place. The world is no longer a playground, but responsibility is not at the level of making a living and providing for a family. The malleable, self-conscious minds are stuck in limbo, looking for answers, looking for somewhere they belong.

The school experience entices some and deters others, and a range of conformity and rebellion becomes apparent. The educated minds impose and the students mingle and clash in a frenzy of new encounters. Who to listen to? Mom and dad try to guide and control with advice and discipline. "Listen to your teachers... do this... don't do that..." The input from the parents, the relatives, the teachers, the coaches, the priests, the government, the media, the peers... it pours in and molds the perspective. A vague idea of what one should be forms and causes conflict. What to believe? What should I strive to be? The older folk must know best, right? "They've been through the ropes. They must know what's going on, so I'll just take their word for it and strive to be like them."

But then there are those who say, "what are these rules, these guidelines, this society?" The rebels. Maybe they didn't get enough discipline and advice, maybe they blocked out the input from the minds of the older folk, maybe it feels unnatural to sit in a classroom for 7 hours a day talking about flashcards and writing between the lines, maybe they don't want to get a career and dress in business suits. Whatever the reason, conformity seems ridiculous, like some kind of joke. So they put down some drugs, put up with ridicule, and look for satisfaction. Maybe they dress differently, listen to music that isn't "mainstream," try to be unique. Maybe they end up pregnant, in a gang, in jail. Even so, most fall back into the mindset of conformity after enduring enough ridicule and punishment. "Stop being so immature. It is time to grow up, get a job, and settle down. You need to be a responsible member of society."

It is rare for a teenager to not go through some form of rebellion. What society and the adults say is right may be perceived as conformity, and what society and the adults say is wrong may be perceived as rebellion, but all of it is just mind perceptions. Whether one perceives themselves and others as conforming or rebelling, it really makes no difference. Both ways lead people around in circles and bury them more and more in deception with each passing day.

What are people really rebelling against? Rebellion results from the subconscious intuition to resist the influence of the mind of society and this world, but it is just too powerful to resist, nearly impossible. Even if you think you are rebelling, you are still getting sucked in like the obvious conformists. Like an infectious disease, the input and reinforcement from other minds pulls you into a false sense of security or into a spiral of doubt, worry and regret. Something like: "As long as I listen to ma and pa, make lots of money and pray to God up in heaven, I'll fit right in this world and go to heaven when I die." Or: "How will I get my next meal... where can I get my fix... what did I do wrong... what will I do next?"

Either way, you are just as dead to the life that is present. The adults don't know what is going on, no matter what they tell you or how much they look and pretend like they are in control. They were and still are just as thrown into it as everyone else. They are so buried in deception and so closed-minded that they don't even realize that they are. Everyone is dead to life, but the older folk are dead and buried in their religious myths, their beliefs, their distorted values, their careers, their finances, their pleasure seeking, their regret and longing, and the other BS that keeps the mind in control. When the youth need guidance and advice, the only thing adults can see to do is pass what they think is true and right to the younger generations, which just perpetuates the ignorance. Adults don't have much of a chance to see the truth and break down the illusions of the mind, and so they wait in blindness until it is too late.

The saying "with age comes wisdom" is not true.
With truth comes wisdom.

The mind is what makes us dead to life, because it separates what we are from the life that is coming to us by blocking, filtering and distorting it. The mind is so powerful and in control of this world that it makes people more dead everyday. Teenagers and young adults are just dead, not buried yet. Young people have a chance to see a radically different explanation of the truth, the truth that is very different from the mindset of material consumption, money, power, religious myths and political solutions that just make the problems worse. The young have the chance to resist and break down the mind's illusions before they get buried by them. Young people need to see that the truth is the only real and permanent solution, the only true rebellion.

To the youth and those who are not yet buried in BS: Can you see that the way adults in power are behaving and running this world is destroying the environment and leading toward unparalleled global catastrophe? Are you sick and tired of the lies and empty promises from your political leaders, clergymen, lawyers and other people in power who will gladly sell and steal your future for their shortsighted benefit and profit? Does it make you angry that people will say things are true without knowing beyond a reasonable doubt that they are true? Do you want to do something about it that will actually make a difference?

Let it be known that there is only one true rebellion, only one way that really makes a difference and doesn't lead people in circles. The truth is the way. The way of truth is literally the exact opposite of whatever the mind thinks is the way. The truth is the only way that doesn't conform to this world. Your help to find, define and spread the truth will literally banish deception and division from this world, and more importantly to you, from the life that you are living. The truth will change your perspective so that you can recognize the illusions the mind creates and live clear of them as much as possible. The truth shows you what life does and where it is, and reveals your true self as a receiver of life, reuniting you with all the life that is always coming to you here and now. The mind is overcome, and you are born again to life, by way of truth. You will still be in this world, but beyond it and all the BS that plagues mankind.

The only true rebellion is working to learn and spread the truth. The first step is knowing that you do not know, seeking truth. Teenagers and young adults are more likely to not be set in beliefs and buried in BS. This is not to say all adults are hopeless or that none care about the truth. Most adults think they already know, so they behave accordingly and are not actively seeking truth. Those who think they are the closest are the farthest away. Beliefs are the opposite of the truth. It doesn't matter what anyone believes; the truth will be the truth, regardless. A lie is a lie even if everyone believes it. The truth is the truth even if no one believes it. Know that you do not already know, and seek what is rather than what you and others think should be.

Everyone wants to accomplish something, drastic, subtle, or somewhere in between. The aspirations that people work towards just keep them going around in circles, missing the present. There is only one thing you can accomplish that really makes a difference, now and in the long run. It doesn't require getting famous, getting rich, meditating daily, blind faith, overthrowing the government, or anything else except for intent and commitment. "You say you want a revolution, well you know, you better free your mind instead." The way to be free of mind is to know and understand the fundamental, eternal laws of nature, and the nature of the mind which distorts and hides the truth. Seek the truth, and you will find the truth. You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.

Stairway to Heaven

Why is heaven the ultimate destination? You are only ever conscious of the present moment, because it is all that is - it is impossible to be conscious of being unconscious. This shatters the age-old notions of a fantasy land in the clouds, or some destination far off the future. The ultimate destination is the journey, the present.

What is heaven? Heaven is the "here and now" without the mind blocking and filtering it - the ultimate state of being. A world that is a heaven would be a time and place that is not run by primal instincts, where all beings live completely in the present and share it with everyone. Heaven, love reflected in love eternally, 100% in the present, is as good as it gets, literally beyond imagination.

Why is it that the concept of "heaven" has been in the collective mind of mankind for thousands of years? Somehow, we always knew it was possible to be in a world that reflects and lives in perfection. Now, we can see and know the perfection. For the first time in the history of planet earth, we (the human race) are at the metaphorical gates of heaven. The key to the gate is the truth, and the truth is being revealed - the veil is lifting.

The world we live in is not a heaven - it is divided, controlled by animal instincts, and destructive. A world that is a heaven reflects perfection - Oneness. There is a bridge from where we are now in this world to a world that is a heaven, possibly on earth. That bridge is faith in the truth - a collective effort to find, define and spread a universal truth that will unite the human race.

You must trust the truth before you know what it is for it be revealed - seek and you will find.

How does the world we live in now turn into a heaven? The world will change into a heaven when the people in it change from mankind (controlling) into spiritual beings (surrendered), and not until. The world as a whole will undergo a transformation as each of us embarks on the individual transition. As the truth is revealed and spread, more and more will go through the transition. The more that do it, the more that will do it, the easier it will be, and the faster this world will change into a heaven. When all or the vast majority of the human race wakes up, the world will reflect our level of consciousness, and we will use technology to provide the necessities of life to everyone on the planet by working in harmony with nature to extract clean, free energy.

What is the difference between mankind and a spiritual being? A man is a mind that tries to control life. A spiritual being is what we really are- that surrendered receiver of life that is always present. The mind divides our essence as spirit, or nothingness, from the abundant life that is always coming directly to us here and now. Right now, we are living as our false, mortal self (the mind), and we need to be living as our true, immortal self (spirit, consciousness), the opposite. To receive all of life (everything) we must be nothing, and nothing balances everything and manifests it. "Nothing" is the blank, infinite void in which the game of life is played on.

Why must mankind change into spiritual beings? We must change not only because it is the best way to go, but also because the survival of the human race depends on it. The rational mind is a double-edged sword - it got us to where we are now at the gates of heaven, but it has also given mankind the means to destroy itself and make the earth uninhabitable. Thus, it is time for change, not over millions of years, but in the evolutionary blink of an eye - conscious evolution in the bodies we are currently in.

Evolution has been progressing in an exponential pattern because of technology and globalization, and as the human race, we are now at the cusp, the crossroads - conscious evolution, or catastrophic destruction. The world is at a crossroads because we as individuals are at the crossroads - life or death. We can go the way of truth to wake up to true life, or remain dead to life and semi-asleep. As the truth is revealed, the mind has the opportunity to understand that it is not in control of life, and it will if it is around the truth long enough in the right environment for it to be reprogrammed to understand - this is the mind's ultimate purpose and why it has evolved in us, and we cannot skip using the mind to understand the truth in words, intellectually, because it will not get completely out of the way otherwise.

How will the human race change from mankind to spiritual beings? TRUTH = TRANSFORMATION

What is the transition, and why is it necessary? The transition is absolutely necessary and cannot be avoided. This must be understood, because the mind will do everything it can to skip the truth and go directly to life in the present. Some examples include thinking that the transition is too difficult or impossible, that the truth is too complicated, thinking you already know the truth, thinking you have completed the transtion, and countless other ways.

The ONLY way to get 100% here and now, to heaven, is to go the way of truth and through the transition period. 99.9% is still dead to life. Everything people do, directly or indirectly, is to get in the present, but the truth/transformation is the only way to be completely here now. We MUST go through the rational mind we have evolved to understand the truth, because it will always be in the way, trying to control life if it does not understand.

THIS IS A KEY UNDERSTANDING - it is why nothing we have tried throughout history has worked. The transformation could not happen until we got to this point, to the crossroads.

How does one go through the transition? The transition begins when a mind comes in contact with the truth and recognizes it even though it cannot understand all of it - but it rings true. As you spend more time discussing, spreading, and studying the truth, it changes your mind from the deceiver to your best friend, from the devil to an angel. Devils and angels are representations of the mind - devils deceive and lead astray from truth, while angels help and understand the truth - but both are still mind, still blocking out life. The truth changes the devil to an angel.

When the mind completely understands that it has absolutely no control over life and that it cannot hold onto anything, it is your guardian angel, and it will fade behind the spirit when it is not needed, letting you experience life completely in the present. We are to change from man/spirit to spirit/man. The mind doesn't go away - instincts, fear and pain are wired and can only be recognized. The truth changes your perspective and perception. The mind changes into the helpful tool that it can be from the controlling deceiver that dominates this world. The mind of truth recognizes itself and its limits because it understands the truth.

One must have faith in the truth to go through with the transition, and that faith might be all people can have in this lifespan, but it is all that is needed to persist. We must not have blind faith in fantasies, but faith in the real truth, the truth that can be checked, the truth that unites us, makes sense, and creates clarity - our common ground. You must have faith to go through the transition, because it gets you through all the trials and tribulations. Faith in the truth is trusting the truth and its necessity before you know it, and it helps you to spread the truth and study the truth, which causes your mind to change. However, faith is not the goal; faith is a bridge to knowing.

The transition period is like climbing a stairway, a stairway to heaven, and faith is like a safety net that keeps you from falling off of or too far down the narrow staircase that leads to the center, the present - where life is. You can only see the step you are on and the next step - you cannot grasp it all at once. The mind has been programmed by millions of years of evolution to harbor instincts, emotions, and the illusion of control over life. That is why it is a transition. All of that programming was necessary to get us to where we are now, but now the truth is being revealed, and it will break down the walls, shatter the illusions, and lead you up the stairway to heaven. The truth has to sink into your subconscious mind over time and reprogram your perspective and perception of life.

What is the truth? The truth = "that which is." The truth can be known/understood and experienced, but not both at the same time, because to live and experience the truth is without mind. This is represented by "the truth and the life." "The truth" is a complete and accurate understanding of "that which is" and how it works, and "the life" is the living truth. The ultimate truth is life, the present, because there is nothing else. "That which is" is "that which is" no matter what we think - it cannot be denied or changed by our beliefs. This is "the life," and it can only be experienced, because we will never know what life is.

However, it is IMPOSSIBLE to get into the life completely if the mind is not overcome. This is the tricky part, because many people can understand that the truth is the present, and they think they know it all and even look like they are in complete peace and bliss, but they do not. Everyone who thinks they know, from the most popular guru to the successful author to the religious practitioner to the scientist to the layman, is being tricked by the mind. This is because you cannot get past the devil/mind except by climbing the stairway to heaven by way of truth. Those who think they are the closest are the farthest away.

People try everything to get into the present, from asceticism and meditation, to mantras and rituals, to drugs and sex, to sports and fighting, etc. No matter how hard people try to get in the present, even to surrender, it does not work - it never has and it never will. You cannot think your way to the present, and you cannot get all the way there unless you start with the complete truth. The only way to get into life completely, 100%, is to go through the transition by way of truth. This is because the truth is the only way to overcome the mind - the rest is mind taking people around in circles, maintaining the illusion of free will.

As indirect awareness of truth (understanding in mind) sinks in, the living truth (the present) becomes obvious until you know it completely and manifest the present (no mind).

"The truth" in a nutshell is as follows. You are an immortal spirit, that which is always present receiving life. You are not your mind. Everything will balance. The Present is all that is, God/Life/Love.

The only way to have the ability to receive life fully is to overcome the mind. To overcome the mind is to know the truth, to wake up to life. The first thing you realize when you wake up is that there is no control.

The mind is overcome by the understanding of the balance and that it has no control over life whatsoever, no free will. This understanding comes from understanding the balance of the physical universe, from seeing that everything is moving in balance regardless of what you think or do, from internal bodily processes to the turning of planet earth to the spinning of the galaxies...

...just reading the truth in a nutshell is not enough - you need to corner the truth with supporting evidence and knowledge of our true past to see it and live in it. Reading The Present is a good way to do this. At first, reading it will make you think A LOT, but as it sinks in and you go through the transition, climb the stairway, it gets more simple and more obvious until the mind understands that it can best serve the spirit by turning off when it is not needed. Until that happens, there is no way to get into life completely, no matter what you try to do. The progress happens when it happens, the life comes when it comes, after you have spent enough time studying, spreading, and discussing what you can see at each step of the stairway to heaven. Do not think that you need to understand it all at once before you try to talk about it - that is another trick of the mind to keep you from progressing.

There are many ways to stay on track, and the most important one is trying to spread what you already understand. Even if others do not understand what you are talking about, you are talking to yourself, talking about the truth, and it sinks in as you do it. Trying to save others is the way to save yourself, the fastest way to make progress up the stairway to heaven. SPREAD THE TRUTH

Here are some other things that you can do...

Study the truth by reading books with a lot of truth in them, like The Present, for a little while everyday - it works best if you read with someone else and discuss what you read, especially with the opposite sex. Start writing what you think the truth is, and build it like a clay sculpture as you understand more and the truth becomes more obvious. Take some time everyday to just get in touch with your life senses, and to look at yourself in the eyes in the mirror - this helps you be more centered in your body. These are simple and worthwhile ways to spend your time.....

This all comes from my personal experience with the transition. The only source of knowledge is experience. The knowledge that has been revealed to me is being passed along to you. This experience will be written in a more complete, elaborate way when the time comes for me to do that. Until then, this post has the basics...

The Crossroads - Conscious Evolution

The human race and every one of us as an individual is at the crossroads. The cross has long been the symbol of Christianity, but the so-called Christians of the past and at present do not know what the cross really symbolizes. They think that the cross symbolizes Christ overcoming our own sins for us. In actuality, Jesus set an example for us and died for the truth, and the time has come see the truth that he worked to spread and live in it. We must separate the wheat from the chaff...

The fact is that crucifixion was a very common form of torture and execution at the time Jesus Christ lived, and he was executed by the Romans because they saw him as a threat to the ruling power. He was executed in the same way that thousands upon thousands of slaves and criminals were executed. The cross symbolizes something far more important and profound than a savior outside of oneself and other stories that people want to believe in. It symbolizes the painful way that Jesus and many others died. It symbolizes the brutality, violence and torture that has occurred and is occurring in this world. It symbolizes the crossroads that we are at. The cross asks the question...

DO YOU WANT TO LIVE FOR THIS WORLD?

Imagine being in the skin of and looking through the eyes of a hungry velociraptor in a think forest, locked on to the sound and smell of a potential meal nearby. You chase down a very young, lost and frightened brontosaurus, and jump at his neck, clawing and biting until he collapses. The vicious hunt has resulted in a massive feast to satisfy the hunger that burns within. You tear away at the flesh mercilessly and selfishly, as if this were your last meal. Your senses are stimulated by the savory taste of the meat and the smell of fresh blood as you immerse yourself in the pleasure of eating. Suddenly, you are toppled over forcefully, and the searing teeth of a tyrannosaurus rex rip open your abdomen as you shriek with fear. There was no sense to be alert, no chance to react with your head buried in that gourmet feast. You were caught off guard.

Imagine being in the skin of and looking through the eyes of a wildebeest, running on the hot sands of the Serengeti plains with a large herd of other wildebeests. You remain on guard, but the predator threat is somewhat subdued with the safety in numbers as you migrate to find food and water. Your thirsty group arrives at a flowing river. Finally, this aching thirst will be quenched! Unbeknownst to you, a vicious female lioness sits still in the nearby bushes, careful not to alert the group of her presence. You dip your head down into the water, and feel a rush of sensory refreshment, a moment free of care, unaware that this will be your last drink of water. You sense danger as you feel the scurrying vibrations of the footsteps of your group. As you lift your head out of the water to run away, sharp teeth sink into your neck with the forceful bite of the hungry lioness, and you collapse to the ground in a rush of fear, pain, and surprise as you slowly die in the mouth of your predator.

Imagine being in the skin of and looking through the eyes of a recent ancestor, homo erectus, an intermediate transition species from the great apes to the homo sapien. You are the strongest and most fierce of your tribe. As night falls, the sexual urge rages within you, and you drag a female away from her resting place by the fire, and proceed to have your way with her in the middle of a field under the moonlight. This is common practice, and no one would dare try to compete or quarrel with someone as brutal and ruthless as you. You operate on the pleasure principal while propagating the species at the same time. As you reach orgasm, you close your eyes to your surroundings and immerse yourself in the animal pleasure. When you open them, you are face to face with a sabertooth tiger. Intense pleasure instantly shifts to intense fear as the killer cat pounces on you and tears open your chest, proceeding to eat you and your mate alive. You were immersed in sensory pleasure, blind to the dangers lurking around you.

What did you notice about all these situations? Immersed in pleasure, you let down your guard. At present, mankind is chasing pleasure, eating, drinking, and mating like never before, satisfied and contented our gourmet meals, our beer and wine, our promiscuous and careless sexual behavior, blind to the disasters that await as we forcefully walk the path of destruction, raping the land, chasing the horizon, corrupting our children, killing our perceived enemies and hoarding nuclear weapons. The situation could not be more dangerous, and most people don't even realize it, which makes it even more dangerous. People are too blind to know they are blind.

Not only did we evolve from these animals, we were them. What did you think, you just showed up here at the top of the food chain without having to go through the entire evolutionary cycle? Is that fair? Do you not see the beast within yourself, the primal instincts common to all animal life? Don't lie to yourself.

Evolution is no longer just a theory; it is a proven fact beyond a reasonable doubt. When all the evidence supports evolution, and none refutes it, a rational, honest person has to accept it is true. Not only do we have a lot in common physically with all animal life, now there are no missing links with DNA evidence. You are genetically connected to all animal life on this Earth down to the bacteria at the ocean floor, the bottom of the cycle. Human DNA is approximately 98.4% identical to that of chimpanzees. The instinctual beast is within each and everyone of us, no matter how tamed it is by society. We are animals, not separate from the cycle, and we have clawed our way to the top. We eat, digest food, reproduce, sleep, and feel pain like all conscious animal life, including bacteria.

We lived, died, and even went extinct as every predator and every prey to get to where we are now. We had to. We viciously killed and were eaten alive countless times. You can put yourself in the skin of any of the lifeforms in those scenarios above.

The only thing that makes us different than other animals is a mind that can think and reason. We have evolved a rational mind, which makes us mankind. Other animals have more powerful senses of sight, hearing, smell, feeling and/or taste. Our advantage is our indirect awareness of the environment, a mind that can imagine and think abstractly about the past and future. We are like an island in the sea of animal life, and we can see our position on the edge of the animal realm. If we don't use our minds to evaluate and accept what the evidence says and live accordingly, we are not using what makes us different, and we pass up the ultimate opportunity.

Submitting to delusion and ignorance is a primitive defense mechanism. Almost everyone is falling for belief in believing, belief in faith, and the countless myths and fantasies that separate mankind. People don't realize that no matter what you believe in or have faith in, reality does not change. Belief is the opposite of truth. The best story ever told is not even close to the real story.

Nature doesn't waste anything, and mankind wastes everything. In addition to burning up the limited resources on Earth, we are wasting our opportunity to know the true situation, to know the real story, by submitting to faith in myths instead of seeking truth. We are the only animal that knows for certain that it will die as a result of our indirect awareness of life. This knowledge is a curse and a blessing. A curse, because the subconscious and conscious fear of death keeps people from seeking truth; people try to escape death, and they end up escaping and missing life by hiding behind myths and beliefs. This puts us in a deep sleep, dead to life. A blessing, because this knowledge gives us a chance to overcome fear and death to know true life here and now - it gives us a chance to do the things that transcend death while we are alive.

The history of mankind has not shown much of a fundamental difference in behavior compared to the animals we evolved from. Up until the end of the last world war, our world was very violent. Throughout the history of mankind, there has been torture, war, murder, greed, rape and all sorts of other animal behavior. Most of the time, there had not been police to call. You have been tortured and also the torturer, the king and the peasant, the killer and the victim throughout the history of mankind, just as you were the predator and prey throughout the rest of our evolutionary past. The times we live in now are not much different except that society has tamed the beast within. Thus, we are living in a period of relative peace and prosperity.

All throughout our evolutionary past, we had to kill and compete to survive. For the first time in history, we no longer have to kill and compete to survive. For the first time in history, we can know the true situation, we can see what all the evidence is saying, and we can consciously evolve out of the animal cycle, the realm of the beast, that we all evolved from. This time of relative peace and prosperity gives us a chance to consciously evolve past this violent, instinctual behavior and share the world for the benefit of all. This is no easy task, because our brains have been programmed by about 700 million years of evolution to harbor these powerful primal instincts.

The instinctual mind, the beast within, still runs this world, even though the primal instincts are tamed by society for the most part. The beast within most noticeably shows itself through violence and aggression, such as war, gangs, rape, and other criminal activity. You wouldn't have to go back very far in our evolutionary history to a point where we were all acting violent animals. People think nature is so beautiful, because they are not looking at the nature of nature. It is literally kill or be killed, eat or be eaten, predator and prey. Wild animals have to hunt to eat, and most fail and starve to death or are eaten alive by predators. This is obvious when looking and wild animals, but the beast also occupies mankind and runs our world.

Are you not aware of the horrible realities people are experiencing in some places around the world? Have you been too caught up in the pleasures of this world, drinking your beer, traveling to new places, playing games, driving your luxury car, chasing pleasure, enjoying casual sex? There are people being tortured and killed right now. There are many people starving, unable to muster up the energy to move. There are people slowly dying from infections because they do not have shoes on their feet or adequate medical attention. There are many women and children being trafficked and held in captivity, being sold as sex slaves, and being raped. Are you aware? Do you even care? You had better become aware and start to care, because you can and will end up in the unlucky seat someday if you don't see the balance of the universe. What goes around comes around.

There is really not much, if anything, to feel good about or be content with in this world. When you see the truth, you see that this world is suffering because of our ignorance of the balance. You see what we had to go through to get to this point, our true past. It is better to recognize reality than to act happy and content. The only thing to be content and concerned about is the truth and its potential to transform us and this world.

As a collective society, especially in the United States, we operate on the same pleasure principle as the animals we evolved from, but in a more indirect way. We still chase pleasure and avoid pain, but we have morals and societal values to consider, and legal consequences if we break the law. This has dampened the violent and sexual impulses, but the animal instincts of greed and selfishness are reflected in our society of conspicuous consumption and instant gratification, and the rest of the world suffers and aspires to the illusion of our "fulfilling lifestyle." America is destroying the environment almost single-handedly, and if other countries try to live like we do, the environment will not be able to handle it, and mankind will be destroyed. Nature doesn't waste anything, and mankind wastes everything. We have no choice but to be honest and admit that how we live is not fulfilling and change our way of life before it is too late.

We can and must see the true situation and our true past and consciously evolve past our destructive primal instincts, including fear, greed, sex (for solely pleasure), violence, hate and all other animal aggression and violent behavior. We consciously become more than animals by doing the exact opposite of what the beast within wants us to do. We do it because we can, because we have the opportunity. To be able to know our true past and the present truth is to have the ability to consciously evolve out of the animal evolutionary cycle, to rise above it. For the first time in history, we have that ability; thus we are now at the crossroads. We must become more than just smart animals while we have the chance. We must use the rational mind for its ultimate purpose - to learn and spread the truth to overcome the instinctual beast within. If we do not, we pass up an opportunity that is only available to life at the very top of the animal evolutionary cycle, and nature does not waste anything. Use it or lose it.

Overcoming the beast within is imperative if the human race is to survive. For the first time in history, we have the weaponry capability to wipe out mankind on a global scale. We must recognize the beast within that runs this world and controls us. This is the only true battle to be fought - the battle between truth and deception. We fight not other people, but invisible hosts of evil. The beast is no longer invisible to us; we can see the true situation. We can see our evolutionary past and that we now have a chance to consciously evolve past our violent and selfish animal instincts. This does not mean that we get rid of our instincts, but they will no longer be in control of us. We have no choice but to consciously evolve in a very short period of time. We must overcome millions of years of evolutionary programming while we are not putting all of our energy into survival. This is our window of opportunity, and it may not last very long...

Imagine what would happen if there was a nationwide power outage, and the power could not be restored. This is not unrealistic - a natural disaster could do it, a bombing could do it. In a few days, there would be no clean water, food would become scarce, and communication along with society would break down. The basic necessities of survival would not be available, and the beast would be turned loose. Riots would ensue, looting, killing, raping and robbing, possibly even cannibalism. We would return to the laws of the jungle. The social upheaval and the release of primal instincts would make the problem much worse than you can even imagine. Do not think it cannot happen; it has happened on smaller scales in the past. When the basic necessities of survival are not accessible, the beast will sell its soul to eat. The beast lurks beneath the surface, tamed by society, and if society breaks down, the beast shows its true nature. We must overcome the beast within.

Only the truth can overcome the beast within. The question is, will you acknowledge it or ignore it? Like everything else in the universe, evolution is a balanced cycle. You are currently at the end of the cycle, the top, the crossroads. You currently have a chance to take the next and final step in evolution and leave the animal realm forever. This is the ultimate opportunity, period. What will you do? Where will you go? Because it is a cycle, there are only 3 ways to go when you die physically...

1) Come back as a human.

If you do not understand the truth and what it means, the awareness you achieve in this life will be reborn at the level of a human, and you will have another chance until you see the truth and understand what it means.

2) Leave the animal cycle and go to a heaven.

If you understand the truth, acknowledge and spread it, commit completely to the truth and give back to it for it to transform your mind, and seek to know the living truth (life in the present), you have reached the ultimate level of awareness, and you (the awareness) will never be born in a world run by the beast again. You have evolved past the animal realm, and you leave the cycle. You have consciously evolved past the deceptive mind of man and your primal instincts, and they are no longer in control of you. You (the awareness) will be reborn in a world of pure love (a heaven) and will live eternally in the present, sharing life with others who live completely in the present.

Heaven is a place that is not run by the beast. The world we live in is not a heaven, because it is run by the beast. To get there, you must set your intent on the truth and the life and try to find, define and spread the truth. You must try to bring heaven to earth to evolve past this world.

3) Go to the bottom of the cycle.

If you understand the truth and what it means, and you ignore it, fail to acknowledge it and/or try to avoid it by hiding behind myths and beliefs, you make the greatest possible mistake, and you take the greatest fall. You failed to use your rational mind for its ultimate purpose - to overcome deception and the beast within - even know you knew better. If you act like a violent animal after you know the truth and what it means, you cannot evolve further, and you lose everything. You passed up the ultimate opportunity, and you go to the bottom of the evolutionary cycle. It would not be fair any other way. You will have to go through it all again to get to this point again, where you can know and understand the world you live in. Do you want to go through it all again?

You (consciousness/awareness) are immortal, and life is perfectly balanced, so it cannot be any other way. We can now know the true situation. We can know the truth. It will transform us as individuals for certain and also our world if we acknowledge it and live in it while we have the chance.

You may be saying that none of this can be known for sure, that we can not know for sure that consciously being more than an animal will get us to heaven. However, you can know for sure that it is your only chance. In an infinite universe, it absolutely must be possible for a time and place to exist where there is a world that is not run by the beast, by primal instincts. The only way you can possibly get there is by consciously being more than an animal, by learning and spreading the truth to overcome the beast within. The truth is the way. When you know the truth, you know it for certain, but before that, you just have to go with the odds, because it is the only truth you can know when just starting. Faith may be all you can have in this world if you do not spend enough time with the truth for it to transform you completely. The only faith you need is faith in the value of the truth and faith that there is a time and place where the beast is not in control, a heaven. Do you want to live for this world?

This absolutely does not mean that faith is the goal or that there is a heaven up in the clouds that you will rise to if you simply have faith in faith or believe in a story. You can and must do what you can with this life here and now to try to bring heaven to earth or die trying.

You only have two choices: to act like an animal, or to act like something better. If you want to stay in the animal realm, just act the way everyone else acts, and you will continue to be one in this life for sure, and most likely be one in the next life after you die. If you want to be something different in this life for certain and have the only chance to get to a heaven, do not be an animal this time around. If you are wealthy, you must give away your excess wealth, or you have no chance. You must show your moderation to all men. Don’t live like a violent animal. It is that simple.

Except for what is necessary to live life, do not do what all other animals do if you want to be different from them. Life is always present.

From now on, when you watch the History Channel, the Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, the news... put yourself in the skin of the animals you are watching. It will take on a whole new dimension. Try to imagine what they feel - the fear, the pleasure, the pain...

You have been through it all; you were there. Now you are here, and other animals are where they are. You are not better or worse, just at a different point in the animal evolutionary cycle. All animals are the same and live balanced lives; the only difference is that mankind can know the truth and leave the cycle. Will you be an animal, or something more? You have been through it all at least once, and you are currently at the top of the cycle with the opportunity to leave the cycle forever. Which way are you going to go? Those who do not know and remember the true past are doomed to repeat it. You have been the killer, the torturer, the rapist, the victim... you have starved and suffered, feasted and hoarded... you have been eaten alive, tortured, and raped... you have gone back and forth between the extremes for countless lifespans to get to this point. Do you want to go through it again? Do you want to live for this world?

This is your chance to leave the animal realm forever, to center yourself between the extremes.

Envision the image of the cross. One way is horizontal which is a circle, the path that all animals are on, the evolutionary cycle. The the other part of the cross represents the vertical or spiritual way that is not a circle. The goal is to get on the infinite path.

You are now at the meeting place of the two lines, the crossroads. Only by learning and spreading the truth and consciously being more than an animal will you be able to leave the circular path, the realm of the beast, and get on the infinite path to eternal life.

Our ultimate purpose is to know and spread the truth and to consciously evolve out of the animal realm we all evolved from and are in now.

You should make it a habit to read this post or watch an episode of shows like Blue Planet or Life everyday so that you do not forget where we came from, what we are part of now, and what we are working to escape out of. If you are not reminded constantly, the collective mind of this world will make you forget, and you will not escape it. It is impossible to escape without constant effort.

the brain responds to and interacts with the environment
       according to how it was constructed during development
          according to how it is constructed by genes
   the genes provide order
they are behind the physical molding of your brain throughout your entire life

    genes project how the brain is built and developed after conception and birth
radial glia help the new neurons migrate as they are generated in the developing brain
         and millions and millions of neurons are rapidly formed by complex processes in those first few years....
                 ...bombarded by sensory information, a new world...
   .....and genes are the order behind the creation of new neurons
they determine and guide the function of each neuron in the entire nervous system

and all throughout life, as you experience, observe, interact
all the cells in your body, in addition to neurons
are dying and being made completely out of your control

it is HAPPENING
cells are SENSING
blood is PUMPING
neurons are FIRING
mind is PERCEIVING
the brain is CHANGING
memory is MANIFESTING
neuronal network is FORMING...

...and this all happens without any intervention from "you"...
   ...yet you are present, aware, conscious, receiving, experiencing, being

you have no control over all that when you are developing, and you are suddenly reminded that you aren't in control when you die, so why would you have control now?

and responsible for the evolution of life, of awareness

they carry information for development

your physical existence is just guided by your genes perfectly to balance your life, that is why death is the balancing opposite of life

we are the product of a conscious forming of energy to reflect a living thing, which contains a soul, eternally present

we have absolutely no control, we are nothing, and also everything without the mind, because the mind blocks and filters the life that is always present

if mind is not in the way, we become everything real, true life
   a mirror of life, a reflection of perfection
in knowing the truth, the perfection of life, the mind can rest
      and we are free to receive abundant life, eternal life

it is a perfect universe, and we are not separate from it, except by our own deceiving minds that create separation from god=love=life=present, and when we overcome them with truth, we BECOME it... fully conscious and fulfilled....

truth is the way

the universe just happens... perfectly orderly and balanced, and we are the experiencer, the observer, consciousness, awareness

so there is no need for the mind to be thinking all the time and analyzing everything - we are experiencing perfection, and we are not separate from it - we just need to see the balance, see the perfection, see the truth and evolve past the cycle to the center, the present

and watch the wheels go round, and dance to it
   with it
   in harmony with it

in absolute love for it

a love that never dies
and we become that love

and we live eternally in grace, until the universe collapses in again, big bang in reverse

be we enjoy the wonderful ride, as the balance takes us back to the "beginning" of it all
but there is no "beginning" - no "end"
only the present
an eternal journey, an endless destination

the mind cannot grasp infinity
we can only know it is true and surrender to it

Easter Sunday - Resurrection of Jesus Christ

The time has come to stop playing make believe. Jesus Christ did not rise from physical death. The current, and still dogmatic interpretation of the resurrection is incorrect and false, and we can know that for sure. The resurrection story in the Bible is a metaphor for something far more profound than the widely believed fantasy.

Jesus did not rise from physical death - he rose from spiritual death, and we must do the same.

Regardless of whether Jesus actually walked upon this Earth or not, it does not matter. The sayings attributed to him exist, and millions of people believe in the Bible. There is a reason for this - the truth is in the Bible; it has just been misinterpreted and hidden by myths. The time has come to reinterpret the Bible based on the evidence and what we know now that could not be known before this point in history. For the sake of interpretation, let's take for granted that Jesus did walk on this Earth.

The only reference Jesus himself makes in the Bible to the resurrection is this: "I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen." - Revelation 1:18

The rest of the references and stories were make up by scholars and uninspired people who couldn't help but misinterpret what Jesus said and meant. This includes past leaders and emperors who wanted to promote a dogma, control people politically, and make a very powerful myth that people had no choice but to accept in the distant past, because it was the only explanation. Read about the Romans or take a Western Civilization class, and you will see what I mean about the corruption and brutality.

There has been a lot of violence and corruption intertwined with the misinterpretations, which in turn has perpetuated myths that distort the true message of Jesus. The myths, the false interpretations, have become so popular that they persist to this day, even in light of what we know today and the evidence we can see. However, these myths have also preserved the truth in the teachings of Jesus and the Bible to the present, and for the first time in history, we can completely separate the truth from the deception.

We have advanced so much, so rapidly, and we are still falling for myths and living in separation and ignorance. It is time to see the true gospel, the real "good news."

Now is the time that we shall stop sinning, missing the mark:

Life in the Present

“I come that you may have life, and have it more abundantly.”
John 10:10

Jesus spoke those words before he died on the cross. "I was blind, but now I can see." "I asleep, but now I am awake." "I was dead, but now I am alive." Jesus was spiritually dead, blind to life, and he was reborn to eternal life (the present). He spoke the truth so that we also may wake up to life. We are to wake up to life, as Jesus did. Everything Jesus said and did was to get us to wake up to the life that is eternally present.

Mankind is in a state of waking sleep, and we are currently dead to life. People think that eternal life is somewhere in the future, at some distant location up in the sky, but it is always present. We must seek the truth to overcome our deceptive minds and rise from sleep to know life here and now.

People spend so much time worshiping the messenger instead of doing what the message says, and they miss the message all together, caught in a delusion of emotional valence toward a graven image of the messenger. It is not the messenger that matters; it is the message. It is not the prophet that is important, but what passed through the prophet that is important.

“Why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?” (Luke 6:46)

It is imperative that we ditch the outdated, corrupt, and obviously false misinterpretations and beliefs that plague our minds and separate mankind. We need to reinterpret (not rewrite) religious scripture in light of the historical evidence, present knowledge, and discoveries from science and philosophy. There is much wisdom in religious writing, but it is shrouded by misinterpretation and fear of straying from tradition and blind faith, which is perpetuated by anxiety about the religious notion of "eternal hell," off in the future somewhere. This belief is a gripping trap of the mind, manifested from fear of death, that keeps people from seeking truth and checking things for themselves.

People currently look for the truth backwards when it comes to religion. Religious people take for granted that what is in scripture is true, misinterpret it, and try to find it in the real world. When they cannot, they say you need blind faith that it is true, even in the face of hard evidence and much more feasible, rational explanations. It makes them look foolish and hurts the credibility of religious scripture. We just need to do the opposite and take for granted that what is in reality is true, what the evidence says is true, and then look for it in religious scripture. Does that seem so ridiculous? Instead of putting it off as blasphemy, check it out for yourself, and you will see it is true.

We need to "make the two one," as Jesus said, with science and religion. The evidence is just as "sacred," if not more sacred than the Bible, the Koran, the Sutras... etc. The fact is, too many people are involved in religions to just outright ditch them. We need to separate the truth from the deception in everything, including supposedly "infallible" scriptures (a short history lesson makes this notion seem silly). We are not under Roman rule anymore, and we can think for ourselves. We can see what the evidence is saying and check it for ourselves. We need to separate the "wheat from the chaff," as Jesus said, and we can now do that with what we know and the evidence we can see at present. The Bible was written for now - we can now separate the wheat from the chaff.

Read this book to learn the true message of Jesus and to see the truth in the Bible.

Be honest with yourself. Have you ever seen any miracles happen, anything out of the ordinary? Do you know of anyone coming back alive from physical death? Is there any evidence for the supernatural, or is it just our own minds dreaming? Any evidence for a savior outside of ourselves? Stop trying to play make believe, and lay your burden (deceptive mind) down.

We part of the universe, experiencing the universe, and for the first time in history, we can know how it works and how we fit in.

Everyone wants to believe in the supernatural, the extraordinary, because they cannot see the natural, the ordinary as it is. Reality is not as popular as fantasy, because the mind distorts reality and does not allow people to see how amazing and magical life is as it is. Magic is in every moment of life; you just need to realize the truth to see it. There are no miracles. It is all a miracle.

Life is the ultimate "miracle."

Fear of Death

The fear of death pervades within you, whether you are aware of it or not. This fear is at the core of your subconscious mind, driving your every attempt to chase pleasure and avoid pain, blocking out your ability to perceive the balance of the physical universe, causing you to go around in circles, bouncing back and forth from extreme to extreme. This fear lurks beneath the surface of your identity as you continually and foolishly identify with the energy that constantly changes and flows, causing you to fail to see that you are the consciousness that that is eternally present, receiving the energy. Fear of death spawns the ego, strengthened by comparison and competition, and it feeds off of the fear in a vicious cycle of separation and ignorance. The ego/mind stays in control and persists because it gives you the illusion of permanence, a false sense of security in identity, thoughts, hope and expectations, effectively blocking out the fear of death that perpetuates the illusions. This fear is shuddered from your awareness as you attempt to gain material security, to preserve beliefs, and to acquire information; but information is not wisdom, and wisdom is not intellect.

The fear of death is an important issue, maybe the most important issue, for humanity to bring into conscious awareness in this time of transition. The weather is bent more toward thinking/reflection, which works well with the topic of death. I am seeing first hand that facing the subconscious fear of death is very intense, hence this post. The fear of death is the core of the mind and the reason for the existence and the persistence of the ego. This fear is very uncomfortable and difficult to overcome. The fear is hidden from conscious awareness by attachment to beliefs about the past and future. The fear drives our desires and aspirations, like chasing wealth, power and fame, and it is the reason why myths, fantasies, and religions are more popular than reality. There is nothing the ego fears more than the truth. The fear of death is a subconscious force that separates humanity, perpetuating the illusions of false security and control, keeping people from seeking the truth of life.

Mind = Death | Truth = Life

Life is always present, just as it will be right after you exhale your last breath. What truly matters at that point?

Take a deep breath right now, and exhale it all out. Imagine you will not get another breath. Refrain from inhaling again until you finish reading the next paragraph.

Read this slowly and let it sink in. Does it make a difference how famous and renowned you are? Even the most famous and beloved pass on. Does it matter how much money you made and how many nice toys you had? You aren't taking them with you. Does it matter how many times you had sex, or how big your muscles are, or what you look like? The body ceases to function -the heart slows down - the blood runs cold - the limbs go numb. Does it make a difference if you have bounds of intellectual and scientific knowledge or if you have memorized every word in religious scripture? The illusion of identity and security in knowledge is stripped away as you feel your body slowing down. Confusion, fear and worry ensue, mixed with pain and extreme discomfort as you realize death is upon you. Are there any thoughts, beliefs or theories to hide behind anymore? The brain ceases to function as neurons stop firing due to a lack of oxygen. The mind can no longer block and filter out reality. Here now, face to face with reality, no more "you" - just life as it is. The moment of truth.

Now breathe in, breathe in the air. Don't be afraid to care. If you have any imagination whatsoever, and if you really halted your breathing, that should have scared the shit out of you. Imagine your heart just stopped right now. It happens all the time to people of all ages. Imagine the reality of physical death. Hopefully, you are as scared as you should be. Fear is a good motivator, a force behind evolutionary progress. Now read the above paragraph again and pay attention to your breathing as you read it.

Isn't it amazing to be able to breathe? Realize that you are not in control of how many more breaths you will take - it is not up to you. When you are truly unable to take in another breath of oxygen, you will not be given another one, no matter how much you want it. Be conscious of your breathing, don't take it for granted, see that every breath is a gift of life, and know that there will come a time when "you" will not receive another one, no matter what you think.

Do not wonder for whom the bell tolls...

The bell tolls for thee.

If there is one realization you should have gotten out of that uncomfortable barrage, it is that there is no true security in identifying with possessions and hiding behind concepts and beliefs. There is no pride to be had in intellect, fame and fortune. There is no comfort to be had in fantasy and identity. They are all passing illusions of the mind, kept alive by avoiding the fear of death - the fuel for the ego and the reason for its existence and persistence.

Be afraid. The fear is no longer hidden from you - let it enfold you. Do you see how your mind tries to hide it? It is far more important to be aware of the fear of death than to feel good and comfortable in your fantasies, beliefs, and aspirations. Realize how unprepared you are. Don't try to deny it by regurgitating your beliefs and concepts. Death happens in the present, not in the future. You are going to die. Your body will cease to function, and you have nothing to hide behind. Are you ready?

Death is not a comfortable subject, and it never will be, but death is part of life, and it cannot be avoided. We must acknowledge and recognize our fear of death to overcome it. You are going to have to face life as it is sooner or later, whether you want to face reality or not. It is important that your mind is uncomfortable and shaken up as you read this. The mind is death - it perpetuates the waking sleep and deception that enslaves and separates mankind - lost in the fantasies about the past and the future. The mind will pass, as it is an impermanent array of bio-electric activity in your brain, which ceases to function when your body shuts down. The fear of death is of the mind, thus it will also pass. The mind can be overcome, thus the fear of death can be overcome, but you must become aware of it and see how it drives your actions and holds you in bondage.

To overcome the fear of death and prepare for the inevitable experience of that final breath, you must have the ability to accept life in its totality - the good and the bad - to love life completely as it gives itself to you unconditionally. To have the ability to love life completely, to live completely, you must overcome the mind which picks and chooses, wants and avoids, and serves to separate consciousness from life. You must make the two, one. To overcome the mind, you must know the truth of life and surrender to it. How can you love/live completely what you do not know completely?
This is why the truth comes before life.

It is impossible to know what life is, but it is possible to know how it works, what it does, and how you fit into the big picture. We have finally progressed/evolved enough to know and understand the fundamental truth of life. It will transform us and our world. This means that we do not have to guess anymore. Blind faith is no longer necessary, and hope is but a waking dream. The truth is the truth, no matter what you do, say or believe.

To know the truth, you must seek and understand your true nature as a receiver of life, which is not your mind. You must recognize true life, which is always present and coming directly to you from all directions. You must see the nature of the mind and how it filters and distorts true life - you must separate the wheat (what life gives you) from the chaff (what the mind creates). You must learn and accept and the the eternal, unchanging laws of the universe and surrender to them, realizing that you are not in control. The universe will always balance, regardless of what you do, what you say, and what you think. Knowing and seeing the balance is key, because it shows you that you are not control, thus the mind loses control. Knowledge and recognition of the balancing nature of the universe leads directly to the ability to accept life in its totality, regardless of what is happening. Knowing the truth is the only way to overcome the fear of death, to overcome the mind, and to prepare for the experience of physical death. The truth is the way.

Know this to be true: The laws of the physical universe are unchanging, and we can know them and surrender to them. We can know how life works, but not what it is. The universe is perfect, thus there is only one truth as to how it works and how we fit in. It is the truth you can check in reality, the truth that the evidence supports. The truth you can check with the rational mind shows the perfection of life, "that which is." The kind of truth you can check shows you the truth that can be experienced (true life), and vice versa. The truth makes you ready for anything, because it gives you the ability to be fulfilled regardless of what happens to you (true freedom). It gives you the ability to surrender to life and let go of this world.

The only way to prepare for death is to get into life by surrendering to the truth of life. There is nothing the mind is more afraid of than the truth, because the truth is life, and the only way to accept and know the truth and life is to surrender. The mind does not want to lose control, and it will resist giving up control using defense mechanisms including but not limited to jumping from extreme to extreme, wanting more, and even expecting to make progress. The mind will do everything it can to try to get you to skip the truth. We have evolved a rational mind to control and manipulate the environment, and only the truth can show the mind it is not in control and reprogram it to serve.

There is a transition. It takes time for the mind to get used to giving up control, but once it really knows it is the problem, it will help by shutting itself off when it is not needed. It takes 100% commitment to overcome the mind and become the truth. You have no control - the Universe leads the dance of life. Will you submit to the will of the Infinite Universe and dance in harmony with the whole, or will you neglect to seek to know the will of God/Life until you come face to face with Reality as you exhale that final breath? To know completely is to surrender completely.

It is getting into life to overcome death.
How could it be any other way?

I spend so much time spreading the truth and regurgitating philosophical meanderings, intellectual concepts, and words of thinkers and prophets before me, because I am afraid of death. I have to be honest with myself. I can't hide from it anymore. Spreading the truth and writing these words gives me a sense of control over life, but in reality, even these conceptual truths and thoughts that I hold onto and hide behind will not save me from facing reality as it is. The situation could not be more perfect and it does not bother me, because it is necessary to spread the truth to bring heaven (truth and life) to earth. Everything starts with the truth, and I feel driven to spread it. Knowing why I am so driven to spread the truth only serves to motivate me further, because it shows that I am really not in control - that there is a higher power that I must surrender to, a higher power that I am not separate from. It is.

The truth you can check shows that life is always perfect and that you don't have to think all the time, or even very much at all for that matter, and that is how it reprograms your mind and why it can't be skipped. I am seeing that the subconscious and instinctual parts of the mind are revealed as the conscious mind shuts down when it is not needed after the truth sinks in. The key is to recognize the fear as it comes into conscious awareness, and to use it as a cue to pay attention to life. Make fear work for you to make you more aware of life - make the fear your friend, and it will be overcome.

Nothing could be more important than seeking the truth to overcome the mind, to surrender to life, to be reborn to life. The only thing that will matter after you exhale that last breath is whether you had sought, learned and surrendered to the truth of life, because life is eternal, undying and here now. Seek the truth.

Read this post whenever you need to become more aware of your fear of death, and do what needs to be done to overcome death (the mind) while you are still breathing the air. Let it be a reminder to you from the collective unconscious that the path to destruction is wide, and the truth narrow. Make the fear of death work for you by motivating your transition and by using it as a cue to pay attention to the life that is always present - here now - nowhere ...

Fear of death is fear of losing control of what you never had control over.

The fear of death is the fear of life.

Evolving To Birth

Here we are, humanity, evolving to our birth.

There is nothing left to conquer except for ignorance, deception, inequality and injustice. There is nothing left to defend except for the truth we can check. There is nothing left to desire except for unity and peace on earth. There is nothing left to destroy except for the illusions of ego that separate us. There is nothing left to overcome except for the beast within each of us.

There is nothing left to do but to see the truth and surrender to life.

The Truth breaks down the illusory walls that separate us - the mind-made borders, beliefs and dreams. The truth breaks down the partition, the deceiving mind that separates us from our life source.

What we could be doing as a collective whole is unprecedented in the animal realm. For the first time in history, we have the ability to be completely aware of our environment directly (life senses) and indirectly (rational mind). For the first time in history, we can truly see the big picture and how we (consciousness) fit into it, so we can live for today, live life in peace, and share all the world. It is no coincidence that we also, for the first time in history, have the ability to wipe the human race off the planet. We have to cut the crap now, or we will drown in it. We must not miss this window of opportunity to evolve into something more than pleasure seeking, violent, greedy animals. By knowing the truth and knowing the situation, we consciously evolve out of the vicious cycle of brutality and ignorance.

Finding and spreading the truth is how humanity will collectively awaken in this time of deep, waking sleep. Seeing and understanding the truth is how we overcome the mind and transform as individuals, accelerating the transition of humanity. Knowing the truth is the only way to consciously evolve, to be reborn in your current body, and to truly have the ability to be fulfilled by life completely.

We are to die to our minds to be reborn to life.

What It Feels Like to Be a Baby

As she picks him up, he's flooded with her scent and a dim memory of his other world -- the place where his body floated and he first recognized the scent that's hers alone. But now, two weeks after birth, he's in a vast, dry place called home. She brings him close to nurse and he roots with his mouth, guided in part by the smell of colostrum and the smell from the scent glands on her nipples. Her scent links him to everything he craves: food, warmth, touch. He latches on and the sweetness of the liquid is vaguely reminiscent of the smell and taste of amniotic fluid -- both are affected by his mother's diet. Already, sweet is his favorite taste.

After nursing, he presses his tongue in and out of his lips, inadvertently learning about the shape of his mouth and the coolness of the air. Touch is how he learns about the world, and it is one of his most well-developed senses, far more sensitive than his vision. But being touched is just as important -- when his mother holds him in her arms, she is stimulating the production of his growth and digestive hormones.

As she snuggles with him, his mother instinctively raises the pitch of her voice and says "Hell-o," then lowers her pitch to say "my ba-by boy." This is just one clue of many that will eventually teach him that strings of sounds are made up of individual words, that "hello" is not part of "my." Now, the words come to him like music.

His eyelids flutter drowsily. Lowering him onto a blanket, she swaddles his arms against his chest, the way he rested in the womb. He hears a made-up tune she first sang to him in utero: "You're my baby, my baby, my baby baby boy." He opens his eyes for a moment, recognizing the sounds. He'll never consciously recall it, but it's a sensory memory that stays with him. His eyelids flutter again and he's asleep. His brain is not yet capable of organizing and making sense of all the things he sees, hears, feels, and does, and won't keep the details of this day in long-term storage. The morning drifts away in what's known as infantile amnesia.

Something wet and warm presses against his skin, activating nerves that send a signal to his brain that, at first, he ignores as he sleeps -- not unusual because when babies are in a deep phase of sleep all sensory stimulation is muffled. The message that his diaper is wet continues for 20 minutes until he moves into a lighter phase of sleep. Now the message penetrates and he experiences the wet diaper for the soggy irritant it is.

He cries a high-pitched call for help. As he cries, cortisol, known as the stress hormone, and other hormones, like adrenaline, spread through his body, slightly increasing his temperature and heart rate. His mother lifts him from his crib and encircles him in her warm, familiar arms, and his cries immediately lessen.

As she changes his diaper, he's calmed, but only briefly. Now the muscles of his stomach contract in a pang of hunger and he starts to cry again. Once more he nurses, until his belly is full.

From his mother's arms, he looks at the bright red of a nearby lamp shade. His color vision is weak, and only rich, bold colors like this one register. Also interesting to him is the sharp contrast of black and white in the mobile to the side of his crib. As his mother taps the mobile, the shapes begin to move and he studies them. He hasn't yet learned to focus, so objects are still blurry. And he doesn't have depth perception, so the black-and-white cubes look flat.

She holds him in front of her and he looks in her direction, but not squarely into her eyes.

With vision of roughly 20/300 -- about 15 times worse than normal adult vision -- he sees her as though looking through the thick, curvy glass of a vintage Coke bottle. Even up close, she's slightly blurry: His eye muscles aren't able to provide consistent focus. Intuitively, she holds him about a foot away, where his vision is clearest. Even then, what he sees in the blur are movement and contrast, the way her mouth moves to say "Hello" and the way her teeth flash from between her darker lips.

Perhaps it's for the best that he has limited vision. Perhaps it keeps him from being overwhelmed by seeing every detail of faces, hands, tables, and lamps for the very first time. His eyesight seems to provide just the right amount of stimulation for his developing visual cortex, which takes the images he sees and tries to make sense of them. In the meantime, he is able to see (fairly well) what's most important in his world: his parents' faces, his mother's nipple.

2 to 3 months: Beginning to engage

He's 2 months old, sitting in a bouncy seat, watching his mother sponge the kitchen counters, enjoying himself. This strange world that he was born into is starting to make more sense. She opens the refrigerator and he turns his head toward the kiss of the door's suction; he's now able to identify what he's hearing and has enough coordination to turn his body toward the sound. She pours herself a glass of orange juice and he notes the color. His vision is now 20/125 to 20/120.

Banging his hands up and down, he lets loose a shriek of joy. Development in his brain's circuitry now allows him to coo and squeak. Yesterday, when his grandmother spoke to him in Chinese, he detected subtle nuances in the sounds far better than his non-Chinese-speaking mother. By 6 months, he will start to ignore the nuances of this language he hears less frequently as he develops his skill for the one he needs to pay attention to most: English.

"What will you wear today?" his mother asks.

"Eeeeeeeee."

Drool drips onto his chin, but he doesn't feel it; his excitement at making sounds overrides the fact that his salivary glands are pumping out more fluid than he knows how to swallow. He doesn't even know that swallowing will prevent the drooling.

"Eeeeeeeee. That sounds good," she says, pulling back her lips.

Watching her, he begins to understand that that's how his lips look when he makes that sound.

"Eeeeeeeee," he repeats, mimicking her face.

When his mother turns on the radio and then answers the phone, he continues to follow her voice. His hearing is sophisticated enough to pluck out his mother's voice from the music on the radio; recognizing his mother's voice is a skill a baby is born with. But if there are too many background noises that are similar in tone, they blur together, making it harder for him to hear the differences.

To occupy him while she's on the phone, his mother rolls a ball by his bouncy seat. In his first weeks of life, his eyes would occasionally wander, but now they move in tandem more smoothly. His eyes follow the ball until it disappears behind the bookcase. It doesn't come back out. Gone. Out of sight, out of mind.

4 to 5 months: Grab that ring

Lying on the floor beneath his baby gym, he looks up at the yellow plastic ring and for the first time sees the inner surface of the ring's curve. Because his eyes move together now with more consistency, he has new depth perception. Swinging his arm up, he wraps his fingers around the hard plastic. Victory! He shrieks with excitement. All his weeks of practice have strengthened the neural pathways that direct his muscles to grab successfully.

He's also been practicing babbling. Now he's able to repeat many of the vowel sounds he hears when his mom talks to him, as well as mimic the way her mouth moves.

In the afternoon, his mom places him on his stomach on the floor. Pressing his arms into the carpet, he hoists up his head, neck, and trunk in a mini-push-up. In one quick turn, he rolls from his tummy to his back, a complex achievement of muscle and the stirrings of a new desire to move.

6 months: Starting to move

He coos, hoping his mom will look at him. He smiles, hoping to beguile her. She walks by and he cranes his neck to keep her in sight as long as possible. While he long ago "bonded" with her, he's just starting to truly long for her, preferring her above all others. His emotional life has taken a leap. Deep structures in his brain called the limbic system are now better able to connect his actions with specific feelings. He's not cooing for the fun of it, he's cooing because she makes him happy.

She rolls a ball across the room. The game is more interesting to him now that his vision is at least 20/80 to 20/100. The ball disappears behind the bookcase, but now he looks to the other end, confident it will reappear. His brain can retain the visual image of the ball even when it's not in sight, and he understands that it still exists and is still moving.

His mother leaves the room to make a cup of tea and he watches her until he can't see her anymore. As with the ball, he knows that she continues to exist, even though he can't see her. But that's no comfort -- he wants her.

He balls his fists, brings them to his mouth, and cries out in frustration. Blood rushes to his face. He has no understanding of time, doesn't know how long she'll be gone or why she left. All he knows is that she's gone.

He bends his right leg, trying to will his body into crawling, moving toward her. It feels like he could, but he doesn't really know how. He works and works at it. He's not ready yet but will be soon.

She returns, scoops him up, and his cries subside as he squirms with happiness. All is well.

Thoughts at Year's End & the Dawn of a New Decade

Life is just a dot. A dot in space immeasurable, in time unknown. Some lives span decades, while others last just a few short minutes. Nevertheless, these brief bursts of consciousness make up a whole - an indivisible and reactive framework that runs through everything you are and everywhere you've been, everything you've done and everything you will do. Life is just a dot. A dot that you call your home. In the picture above, amid countless distances of empty space is life, is Earth, is You. Behind that bright, yellow-spectral sunbeam lies all that you've known from birth until today. And on this Christmas day, like so many others, people will open their presents, gaze upon the snow, or the rain, or the sun like they've done so many years before. But behind the stories and memories, past the pictures of smiling children and piles of crumpled wrapping paper that have engraved themselves as truths upon our mind - It hovers - rotating quietly amid the sounds of darkness and silence.

The above photo was taken by Voyager 1 four billion miles away from Earth at the edge of our solar system. And I think the late astronomer Carl Sagan, who gave the photo its title, describes it best:

"Look again at that dot. That's here, that's home, that's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there - on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam."

That is Earth. It is not just another photograph of colors and pixels, it is everything you know. It is where you sprung to life, where you first heard your mother's voice, saw a horizon of sun and soil, where you first tasted a slice of pizza, smelled a cut lawn in the green of August, where you first felt yourself and humanity - what it means to be a breathing, living human being amid countless others. Its water has sustained you everyday of your life, hell, it's given you the very ability to know it, and name it, and want it again and again, season after season, month after month, year after year. That dot is the reason you are here and the aim of all your desires, fears, and cares. It rotates, and with each day displays the sun, and with each night the revelation of a billion more beyond it. And don't fool yourself: there are a lot of them.

The photo above was taken in 1996 by Hubble telescope. It is just a pinprick image of our universe, an incredibly small frame. And yet in it is galaxy after galaxy. And each galaxy - each blob of light - is the combined light of 100 billion stars. Not a couple dozen. Not a few hundred. Not several thousand. Not even millions or one or two billion. Around 100 billion stars. And that is just within ONE of those galaxies in this photo, which is, like I said, just an extremely small photographic frame of the macrocosm of our Universe. There are trillions upon trillions of stars in that photo ALONE. To lay that out, one trillion looks like this: 1,000,000,000,000. That's more stars then there are people on this planet - a lot more.

We are just one planet with one sun amid, quite literally, an uncountable amount of other galaxies, let alone suns, and especially planets. Now take the perspective down to - You. Your brain and your body amid THAT. No, let me reiterate. Not THAT... THIS. You are in It. That photo is not somewhere else, it is HERE, NOW, PRESENT. And It surrounds you in all possible directions. You live It. You breath It. You feed off It. You are It. And for your entire life you've interpreted It with the most unique and finite perspective imaginable. Mankind is an impressive race, but amid THAT it is just another speck of dust in a dustpan about the size of Mount Everest, and in actuality, one a lot bigger than that.

But that isn't a cause for meaninglessness. It is quite the opposite. It is a cause for the most incredibly beautiful uniqueness imaginable. Think of "space." Think of "time." Now think of THAT. And somehow amid It you formed a life and survived. You put dates and times on things, named locations and interpreted the uninterpretable down to the very last inch. You knew people and watched them go, met others and they influenced you, as you influenced them. You have memories and experiences that are completely unique to you and thoughts that are but your own, ones that always will be until your body fades back to that dust to emerge anew. Think of how truly incredible that is. No, DON'T THINK. KNOW how truly incredible that is. EXPERIENCE how truly magnificent that is, as you have every day of your life (most of the time never even realizing it). Your brain - with the help of numerous others - has created a world that seeks to understand THAT. That which you can't THINK or UNDERSTAND or INTERPRET. That, which in reality, you can ONLY KNOW. Even your thoughts are of it, whether you realize it or not - and they have trapped you.

The mind is a necessary thing. You have to have it not only to be conscious, but to learn and survive. All the words you can speak in a second, all the smells you recognize in an instant, all the tastes you long to taste again, all the memories that sit a top your conscious like the moon above the Earth - they are stored within it. Confined in a space about the size of several of fists. Neurons fire constantly and you are again and again introduced to the world you've come to know - a world of many. One that is not your own... at least permanently. This is the problem - people think too much. It's good to gain a knowledge of the world and to mark yourself as an individual, unique in space and time. But when you forget that your mind is just an interpretation, that it is not reality, that is when you lose who you truly are - your true purpose in the Universe - to a temporal ego. Your purpose is not to be famous. It is not to make money and it is not to go to a heaven that didn't exist in the first place. You already are famous, you are a completely distinct individual in a completely specific (though undefinable) "time" and "space." There will never be a You in this "Time" or in this place in "Space." Ever. Again. You are already rich - you have the company of billions, who though different, share the same fundamental goals to live and experience this Earth, unique as it is. You are already in heaven. Heaven is now, it is not some utopian land that your idealistic human mind has created in an attempt to latch on to the nostalgic and impermanent. HEAVEN IS NOW. No one said it wouldn't come without struggle or without pain or loss, but is there anything more sensational (and by SENSATIONAL I mean OF THE SENSES) than being immersed in this reality. Yes, it is hard at times. But just look at that image above. You are in that! Bright as it is. Sparkling as it is. Alive as it is - like the life inside of you and those that too call this Universe home. Life is Heaven. Heaven is Now. Now is Life.

And so on this Christmas forget the prophets your ancestors created, and who you and your parents have helped grow into monstrous forces that are but an image controlling us all. Forget a God or the gods that you've so tightly clung onto as some sort of guidance. Clearly if any gods exist they aren't concerned with our attention - I mean, it looks as though they've stuck us here, with one another, on a DOT in a SPACELESS VOID with absolutely no prior knowledge of why or how we got here. We weren't put here to be judged, we weren't put here to worship anyone. We were put here with one goal: to live and to help one another live more easily and enjoyably. Mankind has come a long way, but in the shadow of what we could become we are still primitive and barbaric. We have the ability to work as ONE, a reflection of the ONE that we are, the ONE earth that we live on, the ONE Universe we are a part of. We are unique as individuals, but we are dependent. We are on a specific planet among countless others, but all those others - including us - are still of this one vast macrocosm. We can no longer act as counteragents. Why do we insist that our God, or our nation, or our race, or our gender, or our class, or our way of life is better than another's? WHY DO WE INSIST?

Insist (v): demand forcefully to have something.

This is the root of all man's problems. He has forgotten how to simply LIVE. He has forgotten how to simply BE. He has forgotten how to accept things simply AS THEY ARE. He demands - forcefully, violently, atrociously - to obtain this, to know that, and for others to follow suit with whatever he believes in his singular mind, and humanity continue to pay for this brutal desire, which is in all of us. We must come to terms with reality. We must accept the unknown, accept humility and each other or we will never survive. Our paranoid minds have created separations that never existed in the first place. People look down on some and up to others. To a passing comet the CEO of a company is no better than the stoned and fading vagrant on the street. Things of this Earth - material things that no one will ever be able to take with them - have somehow convinced us of this separation. Our own material bodies - their color, their shape, where they call home - have too. Our minds - their creeds, their preferences, their dogmas - have also. Why? Why do we continue to feed our minds these lies? Is it because we are afraid? Is it because they provide security? Do we create stereotypes and preconceived notions - ignoring the fundamentally human part of each other - in an attempt to understand that which can never be understood? We must each become that passing comet, a newborn baby, a flying bird overhead. We must look at the world as it is. Minds thrown aside, love and likeness our alibi.

For the first time in history mankind is truly connected. We have the ability to know and discover things that were once unimaginable. We no longer need wars or tribes to survive, we have the ability to see our parallels and know the fundamental truth in each of us. Although many don't see it, this is an incredible era in the history of the human race. We are at a watershed moment in our evolution. This is the first time we can truly understand what it means to share one sun and one planet. We have developing technologies, that although still basic, have the ability to unite us like never before. These technologies can also destroy us. The past century has been a shit storm of violence and separation. Ideologies have run rampant and people have completely lost touch with the reality of it all, substituting it with earthly pursuits and pleasures. You can help fill your church every Sunday, but that doesn't mean a heaven is going to sprout up in the sky. You can fill your house with a multitude of material items, but you'll only last so long to use them. You can fill your mind with erroneous beliefs and unfound "truths," but one day your mind will fade - along with you. You can fill your pockets with money and your guns with bullets, but you'll never protect yourself from that ultimate Truth. There is only one thing to be filled... and that is You... with Life, with Compassion, with Humiliation, with Love... with Truth. The Present is NOW, and no amount of cash, no promises of heaven, no gadgets under the Christmas tree will ever compare to that gift. In reality it is all you have, and all we have is each other.

And so this is Christmas. And like last year, and the year before, and the year before that, mankind continues to numb itself with obsolete stories and temporal gifts. Bright Christmas lights won't substitute the light that seems to be fading in each one of us as we continue to fall deeper into this pseudo-world our minds have created. But the sun keeps shining and the Earth keeps spinning. And whether we hear them or not they speak untold truths: It is not December. It is not Christmas. It is simply another day in our end of the Universe. There is a reason we keep coming back to the same tired traditions, the same old rituals and customs. Because we are lost, because we have forgotten the boundlessness of the Universe, the beauty in ourselves. It is a coping device for unconscious turmoil. Our minds have trapped us in a system that has no true purpose, in annual revelries that are exhausted and have no basis or spirit anymore. Christmas became irrelevant a long time ago and yet some force, some malevolent energy bred from human fear and its tendency towards finding some sort of control, has allowed it to continue.

But Christmas is dead, as is any altruistic meaning that Christ represented. There are pastors preaching opulence, "Christians" dropping bombs, moral elitists saying what is right and what is wrong when they themselves have forgotten what it means to be virtuous or sincere. Christmas has turned into a joke. A playing field of politics and religion, diversion and polarization. There is about as much soul in Christmas today as there is in a bomb that kills 30 schoolchildren in some war-torn country miles and miles away. All while the more fortune at the other end of the globe trade gifts, sing songs, and pretend that in doing this they are righteous, that they are chosen and deserving, and that they are going to heaven. Christmas is hypocrisy. Christmas is materialism. Christmas is holier-than-thou. Christmas is polarization disguised behind pseudo-unity. Unity that, for some odd reason, people only seem to care about for a few days once a year, if at all. Shouldn't we always care if someone is starving on the street? Shouldn't we believe that all people are deserving of good health, even if that means we might have to sacrifice a little more money, and possibly a little health of our own? Shouldn't the cries of a dying child drown out all rhetoric spat by presidents and congressmen? Why is it that we need a justification to be good to one another? Why is it that we need a God to tell us what is right? Why is it that we don't trust the humanity in each of us? What is with our obsession with middlemen? We are determined creatures, as well as good and conscious beings at heart, so why is it we've allowed ourselves to be led so astray, especially in the age of reason and rationality?

Dogma must end - it breeds division. Unbreakable beliefs must end - they breed ignorance. The mind must end - it breeds both division and ignorance. It seeks to understand, to order, to stereotype things that simply aren't that simple or cut and dried. It is a good tool for survival, but it is too powerful when left to its own devices. These opinions, views, convictions, judgements, impressions, notions, faiths, confidences, creeds, principles, ideologies, doctrines, teachings - THEY MUST END. They must cease and be replaced with ultimate, provable truth. We are humans. We are the same. We are on one Earth and thus are ONE. It's a shame nearly 150 years after the American Civil War and the end of slavery that we still can't see this truth on a universal scale. This must be realized or mankind won't only fall to mundanity, it will kill itself due to its own ignorance of ITSELF and the truths which abound throughout our Earth and Universe. They are simple truths, but hard to see in the storms of our minds. Minds that are so busy attaining information, they've forgotten the reality hidden behind it. We must forget the unexplainable and focus on that which we experience everyday.

Which brings me to a subtopic: information. I feel the following, though not as fundamental as say, The Present, is nevertheless true and must be understood if mankind is to gain a true sense of humility regarding himself and life. Information, after all, is the abstract fabric of reality. A truth indiscernible but undeniably present. It is mostly abstract mind-talk, glossary terms, etc., but it is real and of physical matter and represents truths, BIG ones, especially in our era...

INFORMATION:

"Instead of asking which came first, the chicken or the egg, it suddenly seemed that a chicken was an egg's idea for getting more eggs."

Information is our world. Everything we do and everything we are is encoded data. From the pigment of our skin to the images on our computer screens, all we've come to know is compromised of facts and figures, numbers and formulas. Our DNA writes everything we will be, from the curvature of our nose to the pigment of our iris. We communicate through the medium of information and evolve as a species to the rhythm of numbers. Even words are nothing more than the calculation of utterances, man's attempt to turn his creaturely expressions into viable conveyance.

Zero. It is a number that didn't exist in the Western world until the introduction of the Arabic numeral system through Latin translations. Up until then, Romans conveyed the idea of zero through the word nulla, meaning nothing, but numerically started their system at I. Zero as a predominant number is a relatively new phenomenon. Throughout history it has been customary to start counting at one, not zero. Yet in the age of information, the idea of nothing has become one of the most important aspects of man's technical evolution.

Immanuel Kant describes numbers as being beyond phenomenon. How did people see things before the invention of the number? What exactly does a number encapsulate? Kant considered numbers an undoubtable category of experience. Everything can be measured and conveyed in numbers, yet numbers are ultimately an abstraction, a conceptual designation of multiples and singularities, and even the lack thereof.

I've recently been reading the book, Decoding the Universe by Charles Seife. It touches on the idea of information and how everything in life can ultimately be brought back to it. We live in an age in which information has taken a front seat in our evolution. The answer to anything is available to us in seconds. This is the first time in the history of our species that such a feat has been possible. Not even kings of yesterday had such convenience at their disposal. All around us numbers are translating our lives and yet they go entirely unnoticed. "Nature seems to speak in the language of information," says Seife.

All that is known to man can be explained in one famous statement: "one if by land, two if by sea."

That was the code Paul Revere and the Americans used the infamous night Revere declared, "the British are coming," at Old North Church in Boston. The Americans needed a system to announce how the British forces would be descending towards Lexington. Would it be the faster route across the Charles River - "by sea" - or the slower, marched route southwest of Boston - "by land?" At the top of the steeple of Old North Church a sexton would watch for the British. He would report the news to the patriots across the Charles River in Lexington by lighting one lamp for land, and two lamps for sea. It is this logic - a simple yes or no answer communicated in numbers - that can translate all information known to man, and is the system ultimately used in computing.

If a YES can be communicated as 1 and a NO as 0, then a string of 1s and os can communicate everything feasible. 101010111001001110111111 could convey a plethora of information in computer speak, from the denoting of pixel color in a picture to an entire paragraph in an online encyclopedia article. These strings of 1s and 0s make up bits, amounts of information used by millions of people each day.

The most important thing to remember about information is that it is completely physical. Information does not exist in some other realm, it is entirely here in reality. When you erase bits of energy heat is created. This heat is then dispersed in the surrounding environment. As physicist Rolf Landauer writes,

"Information is not a disembodied abstract entity; it is always tied to a physical representation. It is represented by an engraving on a stone tablet, a spin, a charge, a hole in a punched card, a mark on paper, or some other equivalent. This ties the handling of information to all the possibilities and restrictions of our real physical world, its laws of physics and its storehouses of available parts."

This leads to the most important idea in relation to information: entropy. To understand entropy is to understand life and nature in its most unabashed form. Entropy is time. Entropy is information. Entropy is work. Entropy is life. And, most notably, entropy is death. Entropy is proof that science and religion are not two separate entities, but two interchangeable ideas that must work off each other.

The universe is constantly pushing towards a state of total equilibrium. It is a common misconception that total equilibrium is represented at the peak of life. In reality, total equilibrium is reached at death. Entropy is the measurement of the universe's movement towards equilibrium. The universe is constantly striving for equilibrium (death), and chaos (life) is continuously helping it get there.

Entropy is a fairly complicated idea and I'm no science teacher, so I'll do my best to explain it as easily as I can. Perhaps it's best to start with an example:

When you put a soda in the fridge to cool it off you're decreasing the entropy of the area inside the fridge. In other words, you're fighting off equilibrium in the fridge, which would be reached when it is at room temperature. However, when you decrease the entropy in the fridge you increase the entropy of the universe. Why? Because the fridge must do work to keep its inside cold. That work is ultimately done by an engine in the fridge, which creates heat that is then given off, thus leading to an increase in entropy overall in the universe.

This can be applied just as easily to life. When an organism survives by eating and drinking it is ultimately fighting off decay - an increase in entropy - on a personal level, but is subsequently increasing the entropy of the universe in the form of heat, which it gives off. The fighting off of entropy can literally be defined as life. In other words nature is constantly attempting to reach full equilibrium - a state in which total entropy is attained (aka death) - and individuals are constantly trying to survive by prolonging this state of counter-equilibrium. All life ultimately leads to the same place, it's just a matter of how you get there and how long it takes.

This plays directly into Darwin's evolutionary theories and the idea of "the survival of the fittest." Those individuals who exhibit the best traits for fighting off equilibrium are the ones who will ultimately survive. Whether this be physical, mental, or any other characteristic doesn't matter. The DNA of the strongest prevails, while that of the weakest falls to the wind.

"It seems that the act of living can be seen as the act of replicating and preserving information despite Nature's attempts to dissipate and destroy it," says Seife. In a strange sort of reality, only the destruction of the physical ensures the continuance of life, or it is only through living that life can ultimately continue. By fighting off death, we are consequently making ourselves and the human race stronger, as well as ensuring that the information inside and among us continues to expand and proliferate throughout the generations... How does it do this? Through a little acid known as DNA.

"A living organism ... is continuously fighting off decay. It maintains its internal order despite a universe that is always increasing in entropy. By eating food, by consuming energy that ultimately comes from the sun, the organism is able to keep itself far from equilibrium: from death," says Seife. This literally means that the struggle of man is a struggle against the very nature which created him and continues to support him. It's as though life is its own paradox. Seife describes life as a "delicate dance of energy, entropy, and information."

All in all the essential function of living beings is the consumption, processing, preservation, and duplication of information.

The discoveries of science seem to be leading to one ultimate truth, one that could literally shatter man's current view of himself and his place in the universe. We are no longer us, but a product of our information, a carrier for our DNA. As Seife says:

"This information of life is much more than what is responsible for consciousness and the information that is being crunched in our brains. Information is responsible for all life on Earth. The laws of information guide every living creature, down to the lowliest bacteria and to the smallest living particles in the world. Every cell in our bodies is packed with information. We eat so that we can process that information. And our whole being is co-opted to transmit information from generation to generation. We are slaves to the information inside us."

Our genetic code is written upon "long, stringy, double-stranded DNA molecules," and it is through these molecules that our "information" is transfered from one generation to the next. The information on DNA is not written in binary code (001010111110, etc.) but quaternary code, or a code that is made up of four symbols (each symbol made up of one chemical, or base: adenine, thymine, cytosine, and guanine). Adenine and thymine are complimentary, as are cytosine and guanine. This means they bind together at opposite ends of the DNA double helix. This information literally makes us who we are, and any flaw or incorrect solution is called a mutation. Detrimental mutations are generally worked out of a species overtime through evolution, however beneficial mutations stay and help to make the species stronger as a whole. Think of a dog breeder hoping to create the ultimate breed for a certain purpose, such as protection. In this case the breeder is going to find the dogs which best exhibit such beneficial mutations as strength, bravery, size, and perseverance. Nature has its own "dog breeders" of information. Enzymes, which are proteins in our cells, "continually monitor DNA molecules, looking for mutations and editing them out."

So how does nature ensure the survival of this internal information? Reproduction, or the duplication of it. The goal of all life can be wrapped up in that one word. It is the natural, innate goal of all living creatures. As Seife says:

"Sure, the programs go about this task in very different ways, but the goal is always the same. Reproduction. All else is decoration - decoration that helps the program achieve its ultimate goal. Bodies - and their arms and legs and heads and brains and eyes and fangs and wings and leaves and cilia - are just packaging for the information contained in an organism's genes, packaging that makes it more likely that the information contained in the packaging will get a chance to replicate itself."

And continued:

"It is not the individual that is driving reproduction; it is the information in the individual. The information in an organism has a goal of replicating itself. While the organism's body is a by-product, a tool for attaining that goal, it is just the vehicle for carrying the information around, sheltering it, and helping the information reproduce. That the organism reproduces is just a by-product of the information's duplicating itself."

Thus it is not the individual who is trying to survive, it is the very information inside of him. It is not the individual who ultimately controls his own fate, it is the natural microscopic data that runs through him and makes him who he is. It is this drive, often unnoticed and disguised, that influences many decisions in an organism's life. Each human is literally the byproduct of many millennia of transferred, developing information. Years of evolution has brought us where we are today. The decisions of individuals thousands and thousands of years ago have in some way - if only by association - helped mankind reach the current point in its development. For example, the main purpose of someone millennia ago may have been to warn generations of people after him that it was deadly to eat a certain berry or to instigate a maternal lion. Is there such a thing as true, creaturely independence in life?

There are exceptions to this individual, reproduction-driven aim seen in Nature. Take ants, for example. One organism reproduces in an ant colony, the queen. All others simply exist to serve her ultimate strive for reproduction. Most ants will never reproduce. The information in these ants tells them to give up their own shot at children so that the species overall has a better chance of surviving and reproducing. But this example serves only to reinforce the idea that information is king. Why? Because if the individual is in control, why would ants do this? Why would an individual ant give up its ability to bear young for another? Because its information tells it to. "If the information in the organism is in control and is the entity trying to reproduce, the sterile ant's behavior begins to look rational," says Seife.

So what does this mean for the individual? Clearly there is such a thing as freewill. But where does freewill begin and nature end? Is everything we do somehow related to a strive to carry on information, to excel as a species? Theoretically, yes. From simple goals like getting a glass of water or a plate of food, to larger ones like trying to succeed at a job or be accepted among peers, it's as though everything one does is in hopes of continued survival and ultimate evolution, both individually and as a species. Life seems to be a collective goal, a working together towards some higher form of terrestrial living.

Is it possible that the true purpose of our existence is to further ensure the better existence of humans of the future? It is clear that the efforts of yesterday's man have brought us many conveniences today. From entire languages to, say, the concept of a chair, it was not we who invented all in front of us, but countless others previously. Before we were even here, many of the wheels had already been set in motion. In fact, man's influence on our lives has been so profound, that the question of a God in relation to creation is as much linked to previous men as it is to some higher, omniscient power. Man's influence on our planet seems as significant as "God's."

So what does this better understanding of INFORMATION tell us? Some might look at it in a paranoid way - that our information is out to get us, but I've included it because I think it does quite the opposite. You can't look at DNA or its drives as an other, as a separate entity. You must look at it as the foundation of life, the reason we are here, and the reason we have evolved. It makes us - physically... literally. True, it controls much of what we do and how we go about life, but it is necessary for our evolution. It also helps to create the beauty that is our world. A flower looks the way it does because of events happening on a microscopic level.

Like I said, information though true, is not fundamental. It is a bit too specific to apply to say, everyday life and interpreting life in the Present, but it is still important in gaining a certain sense of self as well as a level of humility - you begin to realize that it is a universal strive towards something better. This is a comforting thought if you really think about it - the information inside us wants to better us for reasons we may never know. This is an incentive to strive towards unity and work towards Oneness throughout the world and, eventually, the cosmos. The very fabric of reality is one of determination and perseverance.

And so on this Christmas, remember life and truth. Remember that there is no need for the customs of yesterday, which have held us back and destroyed so many of our fellow humans. As man enters this new decade, one that will hopefully be more uplifting than the war-ridden last, we move towards progress. Things that we ignored yesterday, such as climate change, should help to push us closer to a One World People, striving to work with nature, not against it. Solar energy - essentially FREE ENERGY - holds the promise of not only a cleaner environment, but a futuristic image of ourselves. One of a unified people - of the cosmos - using their very own sun-star (a symbol of unity in and of itself) towards the aim of advancement and peace. The time is NOW. Humanity simply can't wait any longer. Let's replace the tired images of kings, prophets, gods, and spirits, with Reality. For years we told ourselves that Earth was punishment and that Heaven awaited somewhere else. But it's becoming more and more clear that this is all we have and that it is something much bigger than could ever fit in the dull walls of some clichéd heaven in the clouds. We've made it this far humanity, and there's nowhere to go but NOW.

When talking about the Pale Blue Dot, Sagan goes on to say:

"The Earth is a very small stage in a vast cosmic arena. Think of the rivers of blood spilled by all those generals and emperors so that, in glory and triumph, they could become the momentary masters of a fraction of a dot. Think of the endless cruelties visited by the inhabitants of one corner of this pixel on the scarcely distinguishable inhabitants of some other corner, how frequent their misunderstandings, how eager they are to kill one another, how fervent their hatreds.

"Our posturings, our imagined self-importance, the delusion that we have some privileged position in the Universe, are challenged by this point of pale light. Our planet is a lonely speck in the great enveloping cosmic dark. In our obscurity, in all this vastness, there is no hint that help will come from somewhere else to save us from ourselves.

"The Earth is the only world known so far to harbor life. There is nowhere else, at least in the near future, to which our species could migrate. Visit, yes. Settle, not yet. Like it or not, for the moment the Earth is where we make our stand.

"It has been said that astronomy is a humbling and character-building experience. There is perhaps no better demonstration of the folly of human conceits than this distant image of our tiny world. To me, it underscores our responsibility to deal more kindly with one another, and to preserve and cherish the pale blue dot, the only home we've ever known."

Are You Ready?

People tend to avoid the subject of death, just as they avoid the life that is coming to them in the present by chasing the illusions of their minds, playing mind games, hiding in a fantasy dreamworld. When you ask someone if they fear death, if they are ready to die, you could receive one of many responses.

Maybe the response would be "I still have a long time before I will die." The truth is, you do not know how much time you have before you die. Your heart could stop right now. Right now, your body is undergoing countless processes to keep you alive that you are not even consciously aware of. Is it you who keeps your heart beating and your body functioning? No, the heart pumps blood without any help from "you." Is it you who controls your breathing while you are semi-unconscious as you sleep through the night? No, the lungs breathe air until they cannot breathe air anymore, without any intervention of "me."

Maybe the response would be more laid back, such as "Well, you gotta go sometime." You aren't going to die "sometime." You aren't going to die in the future. You die in the present. Death happens in the present, just like everything else you experience.

Maybe you would get a response that is more assertive and defensive, such as "I am not afraid of death." When you get this response, you can be sure that the person is either lying, or that they haven't truly become aware of their impending death, whether they realize it or not. Right now, take a deep breath, and exhale all the air out. Imagine that you will not get another breath. Don't let yourself take one until you truly realize that there will be a place and a time where you will not receive another breath, and it will happen in the present. Again, you have no control over when your last breath will be, no control over when your heart stops beating. Every breath you take is one closer to that last breath.

Then, of course, you will get the religious responses, which usually fall in line with one of the potential responses explained above. The most important moment in your life, the moment of truth, is when you truly realize death is upon you, just as everyone does. Everything that is not true, not real, an illusion, will be stripped away, including your beliefs, your conceptualizations, your stories, and your expectations. "You," or what you think is you, your ego, your identity, will be completely shattered. As "you" die, thoughts cease to be as the neurons stop firing in your brain, and the brain is deprived of oxygen. The mind ceases to function, as the mind is just bioelectric activity in the brain, and there you are; your true self (receiver of life) "face to face," completely aware of the present moment before you go completely unconscious, and it is impossible to be conscious of being unconscious.

No shining, winged angels are going to fly down from the sky and carry you away to the pearly gates. No bearded man wearing a sheet and sandals is going to take your hand. Anything you try to imagine will happen, anything you try to believe, will not happen. Beliefs, faith, hope, and dreams are fantasies, the opposite of reality (true life). The experience of ceasing to breathe and your body shutting down will be beyond your imagination, because it will be real, and it will force you into the present, because you will realize that you are not going to be able to take anything with you, not your possessions, not your beliefs, not your memories. There will be intense confusion and fear as the illusion is stripped away. If you haven't tried to seek the truth of life up to this point, you will realize that nothing else you did in your life really mattered, and you will wish that you had thought of it before. You will die in sheer confusion and surprise without any of your illusory fantasies to hide behind. The mind will no longer in the present with you, blocking out life. Death will be the most real experience you ever have if you spend your whole life lost in fantasy, in an imaginary dreamworld. "You" will cease to exist, but "you" never really existed.

I am using "you" in quotations for a reason, because death is not the end of life; death is the end of "you." However, "you" do not die, because "you," or what you think is you (your ego/mind), never really was alive in the first place. This "reality" that you have created your whole life, which includes your identity, is not real, because nothing the mind creates is real. The mind cannot create anything real; it can only manipulate what is. Again, only the life you receive through your senses in the present is real, true life, reality. You are not your identity. Your true self = mirror of life.

You will die physically, and this identity (your mind) that you hold onto will cease to exist, because it is part of your body, stored memories in your brain. Physical death is real; it is in life and a necessary part of life, and it cannot be avoided. The whole purpose of your body is to be a support system for your senses, which allow you to receive and experience life. Physical death is when your body can no longer support your consciousness (what you are). You cease to breathe, and your brain, and thus your mind, is compromised. The physical body, the support system for your senses, will decompose and be recycled by Nature as the worms eat the flesh or the ashes are spread upon the earth. However, your true self, best described as consciousness, awareness, nothingness, spirit, is not physical, thus what you are (consciousness) does not end at death.

Immortality:

Death does not exist from your perspective, the only perspective that matters to you.

As was said previously, "it is impossible to be conscious of being unconscious." Life is continuous and never-ending from your perspective and experience, because you cannot experience anything other than life. You are conscious of life now, thus you are conscious of life eternally, because now is all that is. You are the blank slate on which life is written on, the infinite field in which the game of life is played on, a receiver of life, nothingness. Everything in the universe is connected by "empty space," nothingness, from the space between the electrons and nuclei of atoms to the space between stars. You (consciousness) are connected with the entire universe, here, there, everywhere.

If you look at the big picture, you can see for yourself the tendency of Nature to repeat itself, to go in cycles as it strives for balance, equilibrium. Look around you. Do you see death anywhere in Nature? All I see is energy changing form, cycles, rebirth. The seasons changing, the weather patterns shifting, the tide crashing in and pulling out,the sun rising and setting, plants photosynthesizing, converting the energy from the sun. Death is an illusion; there is only constant change, constant rebirth. Life is eternal. The only evidence you really have is that you were born into this life. Physical death will come, but you will be reborn. Being born happens, or you would not be here now. Physical death is consciousness ending in one body and beginning in another. Death and birth are one event (rebirth) from your perspective, because you cannot be conscious of being unconscious. You are immortal, because it is impossible for you not to be. Fear of Death:

People are afraid of death, consciously and subconsciously, because they are attached to this illusory conceptualization of ego, of self, of identity. This fear causes people to subconsciously avoid death, and because death is part of life, people are avoiding life, missing the mark. People are dead to life, spiritually dead, because they miss out on life in the present, all that is, by blocking out reality with the mind; with useless knowledge, faith and belief, and religious myths. As Mark Twain said, "The fear of death follows from the fear of life. A man who lives fully is prepared to die at any time." The only way to be ready for death, to overcome death, is to get into life completely, to overcome the illusion of "you" and embrace reality, embrace oneness. You must die to your ego and be reborn to true life before your body can no longer support your consciousness. You give birth to yourself as a new being in your current body. You are reborn to life. You just die to your mind, because it never really was alive in the first place. To live truly, you must die to your ego/mind.

People are currently living as their false, mortal mind-self, and they need to do the exact opposite and live as their immortal, spiritual-self, their true self.

When you live as your true self, as a spiritual being, as a mirror of life, you are constantly reborn, because life in the present is always new. To people living in the mind, nothing is more certain than death. To those living as spiritual beings, nothing is more certain than life.

Just remember, life is not your life; life is life. Life does not belong to you, yet the present is all for you. This body is not your body; it is energy in form. Everything your mind creates is impermanent, including "you" and anything associated with this identity that has formed over the years by interacting with the minds of your family, peers, society, and the collective mind of humanity. All of your memories, conceptualizations, expectations, and labels will be compromised when you physically die, along with the mind itself and everything else it creates, including "you."

Your physical death will likely be very painful, and also livid with fear, because it will be beyond your imagination, literally. You must make pain and fear your friends. Your mind uses pain and fear to control you, to perpetuate the illusions it creates, to block out life. You must change the mind from your enemy to your companion, from deception to truth. You will still fear death in this lifespan, but the fear will not cause you to hide behind the illusions of the mind and escape life; the fear will be used as a cue to be with life here now. However, you will not be surprised when death comes, because by seeking the truth and getting to know life, you will be ready. Death sucks, and you will try to avoid pain and death, but when you cannot, you will not block it out, because it doesn't work anyway. You must have the ability to accept life in its totality without picking and choosing to be ready for death. You must have the ability to be fulfilled independent of what happens in the environment to truly be free, to transcend death.

The key to being prepared for death is to get into life completely, to die to your mind and transcend "yourself," to understand and live in the truth and the life before you die physically. Life gives itself to you unconditionally, and you have to surrender to life to be filled with life, to get to know true life, to be familiar with life in the present. You must be like nothing (your true self) to receive everything (life). If you do see the truth and get to know the life before you die physically, even though experiencing death is beyond your imagination, you will know that whatever happens is life, and you will be at home with it in the present.

If you get into life completely, you transcend fear and death; you become eternal life. You must see the truth and realize your true self. Up until now, most people could not know the truth, could not see their true self (consciousness) in relation to the natural harmony of the universe (balance), could not see true life and how the mind blocks it out.

To let life in, to truly live in the present, to get to know true life, you have to know the truth. Knowledge of the truth physically changes the structure of your brain and thus your environment. Your inner-environment changes as your brain is reprogrammed for the present. Everything starts with the truth, including the transformation of your mind, by which you will begin to live your life as an immortal, spiritual being, your true self.

To know the truth, you must seek, define, and spread the truth. Truth before life. There is no other way.

At the beginning of each day, remind yourself you are going to die. Imagine you are going to die that day, because one day, you will be right. Most people take every breath for granted until that last one, when they realize they will not get another one. To be ready for death/birth, you must live in that last breath, as your breathing only happens in the present. You must spread those moments of presence right before death/birth throughout your whole life.

You are going to die, and death happens in the present.

To come together, we must change our perspective, shift from the perspective of the mind which thrives in separation, to our spiritual-perspective, where we see everyone truly, including oneself, as a receiver of life. Therefore, we must change our minds to embrace Oneness. To change our minds, we must seek, define, and spread the truth. To change the world, we must change our minds. Change starts with us, as our world is just a reflection of us. "We must become the change we want to see in our world." - Gandhi

As you seek, define, and spread the truth, it goes subconscious, so that everything your mind creates becomes a cue to let life in, to be present. As a result of taking control of our minds and spreading the truth, building the truth in the collective unconscious, our collective mind, we give the rest of humanity a better chance to wake up. We must try to save others to save ourselves, but ultimately, we are only responsible for seeing the truth and the life for ourselves. As more people wake up, it will get easier to live without the mind, and it will snowball, but until then, people that see the truth have to spread it to keep the ball rolling. We must become prophets of our generation and spread the truth of life. With our love, we can save the world, save our Earth. If enough people do it, there will be an explosion of spiritual growth, of the truth and the life, and there will be a global awakening of humanity in the blink of an eye.

The Kingdom of God is at hand. "Heaven is inside you and all around you." Only when we see God/Life/Love (all that is) as perfectly balanced and fair will we be able to transform our minds and reprogram them for the present without apprehension about the future and/or dependence on the past. As the mind fades into the background and life gets bigger, we just "back into" that surrendering, child-like state by becoming our senses, receiving and reflecting the life that comes directly to us from all directions in the Present. With the truth, we can change our minds, transform into spiritual beings, receive and reflect life without any mental intrusions, live for today, live life in peace, share all the world, and build a heaven on Earth. Everything starts with the truth, and that is why it is so important to spread it.

The Spiritual Man - My Vows

While I was on vacation last week, I spent a lot of time sitting on the beach at night looking at the stars. They were so clear out there, so many of them, boundless and limitless space going out forever. Some of those bright lights are whole galaxies, billions of stars. Staring out into infinity, I couldn't help but think about how much fighting and unnecessary suffering we inflict on ourselves on Earth. It seems so silly when you realize that we're all together, floating on this rock in an infinite universe. What the hell are we doing?

The purpose of this is not to put men/minds or anyone down. I am just being honest, and writing what I see from my perspective.

The mind has created the world we live in today, and it will continue to do great things in the future if we do not destroy ourselves. We cannot survive the divisions that separate us. They result in wars and destruction of the environment. We need to find our common ground. We need to get ourselves together and embrace Oneness. Our enemy is not other people; our true adversary is the beast within, our own minds, our false perspective and ignorance. Men have been programmed by evolution to fight and compete. As of now, we no longer have to fight each other to survive. There is only one battle to be fought, and that is the battle between truth and deception. Now is the time to come together and share the world, or else we will go extinct. If we get into another war, there will be mass nuclear suicide, and even if we don't destroy ourselves, Mother Nature will destroy us if we don't come together and start to work in harmony with nature instead of destroying the environment.

As of now, there is absolutely no reason to initiate and glorify war, and countless reasons why war is unnecessary, unwarranted, unacceptable, and destructive. "The means by which we live have outdistanced the ends for which we live. Our scientific power has outrun our spiritual power. We have guided missiles and misguided men." - Martin Luther King Jr.

The situation that men have created is too dangerous; we have to overcome our animal minds and take the spiritual path.

As of now, almost all men are slaves to the mind. The spiritual man knows that he is not his mind, and he sees clearly that the mind is the problem. The mind is that which distracts us from life in the present; the mind is our true adversary. The spiritual man sees how the mind deceives himself and others, and by noticing this, he begins to get control of his mind. The spiritual man naturally does the right thing, because he knows the truth, and thus he knows right from wrong. The spiritual man is honest and virtuous, and he will never lie to someone who knows the truth, simply because there is no reason to. The spiritual man is a child at heart, and he has the awareness of a child without the ignorance of childhood.

The Spiritual Man = The Real Man

The path of the spiritual man is as follows:

Men have to seek the truth to overcome the mind. A man is what he knows and more importantly does, and the spiritual man knows the truth and spreads the truth. The spiritual man devotes his life to seeking, defining, and spreading the truth and the life, because he knows that it is the most important thing he could possibly be doing. The spiritual man will do everything he can to create a Heaven on Earth, to make this world a better place to live. Spiritual men will lead the way.

The natural drive for men is to make this world a better place for life, for women and children. It is the mind that distracts men from their spiritual state of giving truth and reflecting love. Men have the potential to be something far more than just a hard worker and a great thinker, a "bad boy" and a sex-machine. Men have the potential to be Truth, to shine with life, and to give their wives and children truth and life, the only true security.

In ancient Sanskrit, "man" translates to "mind." Mankind = Mindkind. "Woman" means "womb-man," or mind with a womb. Men and women are different, but equal. Men and women think differently, and we are biologically different in not only our sex organs, but also our brain chemistry. No matter how much you want to fight it, it is reality.

People really need to look at their everyday lives and see how they give life to their minds and deceive others. We have to step up and stop deceiving others, or else we will never be able to share the love in the present. Honesty before love is the only way.

Both men and women are being fooled by the mind, living in the world of the mind, playing the mind games. However, women are the slaves of the slaves. Women are slaves to men, and men are slaves to the mind. Women have to realize they are being fooled. This is so important, because men built this world to please women. Women have to stop going after the aggressive bad boys, the fools, the deceivers; they need to give their love to a man who is truly ready to receive it. Women need to give their love to a man who knows the truth. Women need to wake up to the truth, because they have to power to change men. If women stop giving their love to men who are unable to receive it, men will take the spiritual path, because men need women to give birth to new life. The love of a woman is so powerful, and men will change when they realize that women really want truth and love. Women want to be loved, they must be loved, so they will change when they realize they are being fooled. Women NEED to wake up, because if they don't, men will destroy the world and the human race. The mind needs to be controlled, transformed, and women have the power to force men to change from deceivers and fools to truth seekers and spreaders. Women have the power to give their love to spiritual men, real men, so that other men will be forced to change their ways and stop using the mind for deceptive purposes. Wake up ladies.

Very soon, women will stop giving their love to phonies and "bad boys" who will never truly satisfy their souls. They will not trade the ultimate romance, creating a mini heaven on earth, a family founded on truth and love, for cheap thrills and animal chemistry. When women see the truth, they will only give their love to men who will give them and their families truth and life. Women will blossom spiritually before most men, because they will realize that they have been fooled by the mind. Women dream about love, romance, and creating life, and now they can have it all. All women ever needed was the truth and the life, and when they realize the truth, that is all they will want. Women are ready to be loved, and giving love to a spiritual man will make all of their dreams come true.

All men and women will take the spiritual path when they truly see it. Men must embark on the spiritual path. Men really will have no choice if they want to have a family and a fulfilling love life. You may as well surrender to life now while you still have a choice, because love will always prevail. It's up to you, yeah YOU.

To men seeking to overcome their minds and make the transition into a spiritual being, I suggest reading these two books: excerpts from "To Man in Truth" and The Present. The works are free and online. The books will help you to really see that your mind is the problem and the true reason for the strong attraction between men and women: True Love.

These are my honest vows. My intent in sharing this is not to attract people, nor to get attention, nor to make people feel shallow. My intent is to show men the way, to show men that they don't have to be under control of the mind anymore. I am showing men that there is no need to deceive, no need to hide your love away. I am trying to explain that true love, the truth and the life, the present, is all that is. All you need is love.

I vow to walk the spiritual path; I can't imagine doing anything else. I vow to devote my life to the truth and the life. I will not get married until I am with someone whom I don't have to play mind games with. I will not have sex until I am married, thus I will not have casual sex, because casual sex is chasing pleasure, and no pleasure is free; it will be balanced by an equal amount of pain. I seek the truth and the life, complete fulfillment, not just animal pleasure. I will wait for a spiritual woman who truly satisfies my soul, not a woman who just feeds my ego and satisfies my sexual desires and fantasies. When two people can just share the present without playing mind games, just being with each other, doing anything, that is true love. Just holding hands, laying on the grass, eating food, being together. Making love all day long, not just during sex, but sex will be a profound way to share the present with each other, to express love. No need for words, no need for constant entertainment, no need for a big house, fancy clothes, excess material possessions, no need for anything more than true love (the present) and the basic necessities of life.

I will love like a child loves life unconditionally. I will be a mirror of life, reflecting the life given to me in the present without any mental intrusions. The woman I am with will be able to see her mind and her true self, her spiritual self. I will set her free, and she will set me free. True freedom is being fulfilled independent of what happens in the environment. We will be truly free together, like babies when they start to crawl. The love we share will be as an ocean moving between the shores of our souls; we will fill each others' up, but not drink from each others' cup.

I will give my wife truth in words; I will not deceive her. I will always tell the truth and be honest. I will be true to myself, and thus her and everyone else, and she will realize that I have no reason to deceive. I will receive the love she gives me and reflect it back - I will be a mirror of life/love. I will not bring negative emotions into the relationship, because they will just perpetuate her emotions and cause conflict. We will create our own "heaven on earth," our own family based on truth and love, and when we bring souls into this world by conceiving children, we will give our children truth and love; we will raise them in truth and love. I will not deceive my children either; I will not tell them that something is true if I do not know beyond a reasonable doubt that it is true. I will show my children the way; I will show them how to live and love and be present by my example. I will give them truth, so they will not be childish and ignorant, but I will show them that they can be child-like forever. I will not fall to the temptation of another woman; there would be no reason to, because all I want is the truth and the life, and I would already be with a women who I could share the present with, share the love with.

Destination: 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, The White House

Dear President Obama,

The world is a mixture of pressing issues that don’t seem like they are resolvable by just one solution. Each problem is like a weed overgrowing in the garden of prosperity, and we cut down the weeds by reshaping and rethinking the structures of our society, but the roots are still there, ready to manifest themselves in other forms. We are the intelligent people that created this world we live in today. All the technology, comforts, and organization are the works of our hands, so why is it that we cannot solve the endless chain of suffering that we inflict on each other and the Earth?

The root of the problem is in our minds. People are trying to change the world backwards; we try to fix the external world, forgetting the source from which it is manipulated. Einstein said; “The real problem is in the hearts and minds of men. It is easier to denature plutonium than to denature the evil from the spirit of man.” Human beings do not understand the natural harmony and order of nature and the universe; therefore, they do not understand themselves. Just look at Nature; the Earth is constantly changing in order to keep itself in balance. It moves with the inherent intelligence within all things of the universe. It knows the perfect conditions it needs to sustain life, balance ecosystems, create weather patterns, etc. Most importantly, Nature never wastes anything, because every part of it is integral to its functioning as a whole. Humans fail to function as a whole, because their ego gets in the way and obstructs them from their awareness of the whole. The ego/mind was necessary for survival in past evolution, but now we let it run us blindly into all of the evils of this world: war, prejudice, environmental destruction, excessive wealth, conspicuous consumption and many others. It is America that has been called “the great Satan,” because we have the reputation of having the least regard for the effects of our actions on the whole. The great Satan is really our egos/minds, which convince us that we are somehow better than others, and that our selfish desires are the only thing that matters. The true enemy, the true adversary is the invisible beast within, the ego/mind, and so we show indifference and separate ourselves from the unnecessary suffering of others. “Satan,” the mind, is what obstructs us from seeing the whole or God, from becoming in touch with All That Is. Being in touch with God is true peace and harmony.

Many countries around the world idolize American culture, because we fail to show them the real costs of excessive materialism, the costs of which we have been recently beginning to realize. Instead, we should become role models of honest and balanced living for the rest of the world by making a few changes in the system. First of all, we need to start to seriously prioritize what we invest our money in. Right now, we are wasting billions of dollars on war, when we could use it to fight the battles we could actually succeed in. For example, we should declare “war” for clean energy, especially for solar energy. There is no scarcity of energy; we have a giant nuclear reactor in the sky. Another option is the geothermal energy from the Yellowstone caldera. These projects would also create millions of jobs and help resolve the economic crisis. Living in harmony with nature will actually make us more prosperous. It is also essential for us to be an environmental example to developing countries, because if the billions in India and China started to live as materialistically as Americans, the amount of destruction to the environment would destroy our planet and us along with it.

We also need to create a truly equal society through a government that does not have any personal/ego motivations. The way it is now, our “democracy” helps out those who are already connected to the government by money, power and prestige. We need to redistribute the wealth in this country; there is no other way. We need to level the playing field. We need to cultivate people’s awareness of the whole of society, and how we can help everyone at once through honest work on each of the political issues.

Another issue that needs to be addressed is that of nuclear weapons. Nuclear weapons are so dangerous that we could wipe the human race off the face of this Earth within an hour. America has the most, and therefore it needs to step up and disarm its nuclear weapons. We need to show that there is no necessity to live with fear, and the ultimate way to do it is by disarming. When other countries see that the most powerful country on earth is disarming, they will no longer feel they need to be fearful, and they will follow suit. It is the equivalent to the personal surrendering of the ego, which we need to do one by one, but doing it on a grand scale will inspire many people to try. Nuclear weapons are something we hold onto because of mass paranoia. Let’s just ask ourselves; do we want to live in fear or peace?

We are American college students, and we stand for the ideals we have never truly realized: equality, prosperity, happiness and freedom. These can only be realized with the truth. With the truth, you naturally do what is right, because you understand the nature of the universe. It transforms you into a spiritual being, one who no longer lives according to the dictates of the ego. Sir, the driving force behind your campaign was the emotionally charged phrase “Yes We Can.” You knew and you still know that something has to change; all of us know it, at least subconsciously. This is the change that will cut out the root of the problem, so that the weeds do not grow anymore. We have used our minds to change our outer environment to suit our desires and dreams, to create the world we live in today. Now, we have to use our minds to change our inner-environment; we need to use the truth to overcome our own minds. We must replace deception with truth. Change starts with us, as our world is just a reflection of us.

At the end of your inauguration speech, you quoted George Washington when he said; “Let it be told to the future world…that in the depth of winter, when nothing but hope and virtue could survive…that the city and the country alarmed at one common danger, came forth to meet it.” The common danger is our own selves, our own minds, and we have not walked forth to meet it. If we do not, there will be no future generations to thank us for our hardships. We need to take the next step in evolution; it is no one’s responsibility but our own.

HOW LONG? Until I do this or that..

Until I get up,

go to the refrigerator,

eat, HOW LONG??

And it will take you

a second to get up

and a minute to be at the fridge

and maybe a half hour to eat.

And you're all caught up in yourself,

in your thoughts.

YOU WANT.. MORE ENERGY

And what is this ENERGY?

Well, your science teacher talked about:

-solids (real close particles)

-liquids (spread out somewhat particles)

-gases (farrr apart particles)

... and you sort of took it in ...

sort of comprehended it,

in that you

told yourself in words > pictures > symbols > gibberish

You told yourself,

some things (hard ones) are solid

and some things (watery ones) are liquids

and some things (hard to grasp, but there ones) are gases.

But you never really thought about what it is they were.

You just sort of took them in as WORDS:

G A S E S

and were done with it. Easy enough. Said and done.

And you closed the book. The problem is,

the book never closes. You can't close a book that's always

open...

And in that book is your

life...

that thing that's just sort of

going on around you all the time,

just sort of

HAPPENING

You know, it kind of just flows from

one scene

to the next.

Like you go the refrigerator, and then

to the table,

and then back to another room,

and so on.

And during that time you're interacting

with all sorts of things

that you've turned into WORDS,,,

SYMBOLS.

Because you have to turn things into

SYMBOLS to make sense of them.

Because if things didn't make sense

you'd go insane,

at least that's what

and

and teacher

said

(aka the sane ones).

Why? Easy,

because they too

were in your position:

kind of like thrown here,

and then, all confused,

started trying to make

sense of it all,

trying to grasp it

permanently.

But the problem is:

things aren't permanent.

Things are impermanent.

Everything is. Even "you."

Even the Earth and the Sun

and the Solar System are going

to be gone someday.

But they're not going to really

be gone...

They're just going to change,

sort of like you will, sort of like

an apple will when it starts to rot.

You see, there are things HAPPENING.

All around you stuff's HAPPENING.

In your physical reality

and in your mind

things are HAPPENING,

things are CHANGING.

Just look at your hand.

It used to be a lot smaller

when you were younger.

And that's the problem, too.

The fact that

younger

is just a word.

Created by someone just

as confused,

just as thrown into it,

just as human.

A similar someone from a long time ago

that passed that word down

to your

and your

and your teachers.

Who passed it down to you.

They were all trying to make sense of it all,

and so, too, are you. And so those words

really helped a lot,

they gave you some sort of

security.

Some peace of mind.

Because they wanted to forget that

they didn't know,

just like you want to forget that

you don't know.

They wanted to live in those symbols of security.

But when you come down to the nitty-gritty

everything is...

ENERGY.

It really is that simple.

Nothing really dies, or is born, or lives...

things just are...

ENERGY.

It's your mind that tells you different.

It's your mind that attached

ideas

words

symbols

semblance

to things...

to ENERGY.

In reality it's just those forms...

it's those solids, liquids, and gases

except not in the textbook sense...

because

"solids" aren't really solids

"liquids" aren't really liquids

"gases" aren't really gases...

they're just

forms of changing energy.

Not to sound crazy...

I mean, really,

it is that simple.

This is clear cut.

It's undeniable.

It's all around you

and you're trying to make sense of it

because it frustrates you

that you don't know

completely, because you

have a mind that wants to

know, know, know.

Completely.

But only through

surrender

will you find contentment,

only when you

are satisfied with going up to the mountain and shouting:

I DON'T KNOW!

will you ever really be...

satisfied.

Because as long as you're holding on to

those symbols

those ideas

those notions

those thoughts that tell you

you are "you"

and you are "here,"

and as long as you put

specifications and all that

jazz on those heres and those yous,

you're not going to see

the full picture,

you're going to be caught up in:

interpretation

And when you're interpreting things

you're getting it

all wrong.

You're interpretation must come through your being,

your being can't come through your interpretation.

You have to realize that you don't die

you just change.

Death is a word,

death is an absence.

An absence from the vantage point

of people wandering around on Earth

in the vast microcosm of the Universe.

You change,

you don't die.

It's all about change.

As David Bowie says,

"the s~t~r~e~a~m of warm impermanence"

That's what it's all about.

You're in the stream,

a stream that just keeps going...

it never stops...

the water's always changing,

the direction's always changing,

the perspective is always changing...

But it doesn't just stop flowing.

Things don't just come to an end,

they change.

When you get frostbite

it's not like a second goes by

and you suddenly have frostbite.

It takes awhile for that energy

to get all befungled and change around.

And through those changes,

something happens.

Something's... HAPPENING.

And eventually what ever it is that's frostbitten

falls off...

and decays...

and the energy slowly

dribbles away

into the pool of energy,

into the...

s~t~r~e~a~m.

And that energy gets a new spot,

a new perspective,

a new vantage point...

it falls into the form of

something else.

So you don't really get old.

It's just that all that energy's

been moving around in that form

for so long that changes begin to happen;

changes in energy...

and eventually all that friction and such

causes that energy to want a new perspective,

to be relieved... to reach universal equilibrium,

float downstream.

If things are always changing,

if things always want to flow,

then they're going to.

That's just how it is.

That's how it works.

You don't know what it is,

but you know it works.

It's working right now.

And if things always change

and want to

then you have to accept it.

You can't live your life trusting

labels and symbols

because they're just...

symbols and labels.

They're not reliable.

You can use them,

but you can't let them use you.

The day you starting thinking

a tree is actually a TREE

you're in trouble.

You have to realize that

the TREE is just

energy in form.

Energy in this great big circus.

That all those words and jibber jabber are unreliable.

You have to...

SURRENDER...

ALL that you THINK you KNOW

You have to go back to that child-like state,

where things just come at you

and you accept them

as they are.

You can use those words, but...

you still have to surrender

---

never take them seriously.

See them as a way to communicate,

not a way to make sense of it.

You can't make sense of it.

And when you surrender, you'll realize that.

It's simple.

You have to accept the fact

you've got

60, 70, 80, maybe 90 years at most

and move on

with the stream.

As John Lennon said,

"Yes is the answer" - "Yes is surrender" - "You've got to let it go"

When you let it go,

your mind let's go of you,

and you are free to swim down the stream.

That's what it's all about.

And when you realize you're free,

when you realize you have that ability,

you realize that all the

bad, negative, craziness is all

created by you and like minds...

you realize that amid all that

mind chitter chatter,

the trees still blow and the Earth still spins

REGARDLESS.

You have to realize that every specific state ends...

but the overall thing,

the overall ENERGY,

does not.

The Universe was created by a big burst of ENERGY

that expanded and expanded and expanded and is

Expanding

still.

And as it expands, it changes shape, and keeps changing and changing

again and again.

And it's eventually all going to fold back up on itself and

start over, etc., etc., etc.

It's why the flowers bloom again...

and why when great grandfather dies,

life continues... a baby is born, and...

life continues... and that baby becomes a grandfather... or an old man...

and...

life continues...

But you don't continue as "you,"

you change form.

You're just energy.

This isn't some

far out bull shit...

it's how things work.

You literally feed energy to yourself to stay in this state...

and when the ENERGY that makes up YOU is all worn out...

it goes

elsewhere.

It changes.

Things are CHANGING,

HAPPENING.

ENERGY is just all over the place...

wanting to be all sorts of things...

wanting to interact...

wanting to move...

wanting to dance with joy...

ENERGY is the epitome of

LIFE.

And ENERGY is FIXED.

It can't be created or destroyed.

It just is,

sort of like you just are.

Kind of like when you're really happy

or really living you start to dance around...

When a kid's happy he starts to

jump with joy.

Energy is just sort of dancing around

all over the place.

And you're a part of it,

you are it.

It might seem hard to grasp, because

you've been looking at things

as something other than energy,

but everything is energy

and energy is more than just a word.

When your fingers type you lose energy

so you have to eat/get/take more of it...

you take it from other living things...

or you get it from compounds like coffee...

Compounds that were from things that were once living...

A coffee bean was once alive...

and when you steam it,

you're taking it's stored

ENERGY

and using it

YOURSELF.

It got it's energy from the sun and then it was picked

and dried,

and then stuck in water - one of the purest things around -

and drunk by you for ENERGY.

Energy is just passed around

from one thing to the next.

We're all sharing energy.

We all want it a lot, and a lot of it. And that's where most of the problems arise -

from wanting energy.

All things are done in the pursuit of life energy.

So if we were to all surrender and take it as it comes,

take that energy when we can get it

and not ask for more,

then we'd be in a lot better shape.

If we just shared the energy wealth a little, people would be a whole lot happier.

They'd also be a lot more content if they stopped

trying to understand ENERGY...

if they stopped making up names for it

and stories about how it got here and instead

just:

floated with the s~t~r~e~a~m like a riverboat.

Stop trying to paddle. Just let the river take you.

Stop trying to move faster down the river

and stop trying to stay in one spot.

Stop resisting and stop wanting. In other words,

SURRENDER.

It is the only way to happiness.

Embrace the energy,

but give it always.

Love the energy,

but never understand it.

Seek the energy,

but know it is unknowable.

And most importantly,

let it take you

Why is it that so many people believe organized religions?

People are scared. Whether they deny it or not, they are scared. They have been thrown into this life by the powers that be and look for some sort of foundation as security. That security is interpreted (subconsciously and consciously) as "whatever is popular is right." If there's a church on every corner then the church must have something good and true to say. Hell, if billions believe it then it must have some validity, right? Those chapels are mighty pretty, yes - there's something holy about them, something divine.

These people are not stupid or ignorant, they are simply human beings who have fallen to the games of their mind. Fear is an animal emotion, and whether one realizes it or not, it is the cause of false beliefs in fake gods. Just as the Greeks had their gods, we have GOD today. GOD who will bring you here only to judge you. GOD who will cut you down if you are too human or go against the commandments of antiquity.

The problem of organized religion is a problem with no immediate source. It is a problem fed my misinterpretations, ego-infused mindsets, animal emotions, and the passing down of falsehoods from one generation to the next. It is the pain of being an animal that has people rushing to believe something better must exist. This is also the reason poverty stricken people tend to have stronger religious convictions. They want to have faith that a time of prosperity is drawing closer with each passing day. It is also why the wealthy tend to feign true, devote religion. They are so satisfied with this life (for the wrong reasons) that they give up any efforts towards something else sustainable.

In truth, hope in the future, hope in another life, and hope in a heaven will only bring one temporary and false security (just as money does with the rich) and take he or she out of the true life that surrounds them. When they reach that future, they will wind up just as dead, with no heaven to comfort them. Why believe in those things unknowable and unprovable when life at its core has so much to offer?

And why the hostility towards those who question today's prominent religions?

Those who question Christianity, Islam, etc. pose a threat. Not a threat to the divine order of things as those followers would have you believe, but a threat to their own comfort and security. When you tell someone who has all but convinced themselves that there is a specific God, a Heaven, and a Hell - that what they believe is bollocks - they resist. Why? Because you're showing them reality. You're telling them that beauty, serenity, and peace are not something of tomorrow, they are something of today, if you reach for them. You're telling them that they can no longer find comfort in an untrue future written by men of the past. You're telling them that they are animal and that they will always be animal because they are an animal in the now. And now is all there is.

Witchcraft doesn't exist. Magic doesn't exist. Rituals do not work. Praying does not work. It's a fierce reality, but it is reality that must be accepted one way or another if people are to truly live. I will tell you that you're dead loved one is not in Heaven (or, for that matter, Hell). I will tell you that praying for someone who is ill is worth nothing, accept to comfort the griever. Throwing a penny in a wishing well and making a wish will most likely not bring you that wish. If that wish does come to you it is from your own doing. Do not thank the well. Thank yourself.

If you tell people there's no such thing as good luck and bad, right and wrong, they get defensive. Because they must question all they thought they knew. Nature does not know superstitions, it only knows balance. Just as you should give yourself credit for achieving your wishes and goals, you should give unknowable Nature credit for your being, not a fake God seeking only to judge, condemn, or save you.

Nature is a product of God, no?

No. God is Nature. All things, no matter how synthetic, come from it. We are it and we need it to survive. Nature is not something "God" created, Nature is God. One thing that is truly amazing is how far astray we have been led in regards to nature. It's almost as though we think ourselves above it. You are nature through and through. Your species, the human race, evolved in it and you now survive off it. No matter how far humanity gets in its evolutionary progress, it will never escape the fact that everything it does, everything it is, and everything it senses is Nature - a phenomenon, and nothing else. The Earth is not simply a disposable structure made for our endless use. It is a necessity. Men would not be able to walk if it weren't for their legs. Men would not be able to think if it weren't for the complexity of their brains. Apples would not taste good if it weren't for the intricate taste buds on men's tongues. These were not given to you by some other. They simply have evolved out of that thing undefinable, that thing called Nature.

Humanity has forgotten what it means for something to be natural. Something natural is something undefinable. And why define something you can't define? Let it be and realize that some of the most profound things in life - life itself, most notably - have no need for a definition. Life asks nothing of you but to live. Your body wants nothing more than to work... work so that you may experience this life in this body, and so on.

Faith gives people hope? What's wrong with that?

There's nothing wrong with hope. But someone who is truly fulfilled and grateful for their existence has no need for hope. No matter what arrives at their doorstep, they can see the beauty in it. Only those who are unfulfilled have to hope. Of course, being fulfilled is no easy step. After all, it would be hard to accept something like terminal cancer as just a fact of life, with no Heaven after for comfort. But one must see the overall picture, the idea of a truly vast universe with an unbelievable amount of life. Those consciousnesses must be filled. Filled with you.

And although reincarnation is not provable, life is regenerating all around us. It may not be hardcore evidence, but one could see it as a sign. The infinite amount of animals, bugs, and plants show that life is constantly going and returning. Nothing is permanent, yet nothing is truly impermanent. Energy - whatever it truly is - will always find a new place to lie, if even for the brief moment that is life.

Faith in itself isn't bad. We must have faith in things. Like ourselves, our friends... our faucets to pour or our cars to work. But false faith, that is faith in things which have no proof whatsoever, is wasted time... wasted faith.

There was an eclipse recently in Asia. In India, the superstitious were performing all sorts of rituals to ward off the evils they thought that eclipse would bring. Take the frame back a second and you'll see that such rituals are wasted energy, wasted faith. A bunch of people waving sticks in the air and shouting things while wearing bright, colorful paint will not ward off "evil energy" from an eclipse. Just as praying to a God will not save a loved one, and eating a piece of bread that's supposed to represent Jesus' flesh doesn't mean anything. In the end you are only dancing around and shouting, talking to yourself, and... eating a piece of bread. Or, in other words, experiencing life... So why not just experience life without all the strings attached, without all the incentives and wasted energy.

This is one major problem with the organized religious of today. They hear what they want and filter out whatever it is that disagrees with what they think. When someone prays for a loved one and they get better, they automatically thank God and assume that he must have had some part in it. When they pray for a loved one and that person dies, they say something like "it was his time" or "God wanted him." That is insane. It doesn't make any sense. And it is truly and clearly picking and choosing for the comfort of one's own mind. It is selfish. If a loved one survives something like say, an accident, it was not God who saved them. It was their own effort to live on and the chance of nature. It was random. It was spontaneous. It was not destined. It was not written. By the same token, if 35 people die in a tornado, God didn't "have better plans for them." They died because those things happen. Because the tornado had to hit someone's house. The tornado was not on any set path, it was simply going on a natural course in a natural world.

And in that natural world, humans reign supreme, yes?

Yes and no. Human beings are at the top of the food chain. There is no denying that. Our evolution has far surpassed that of other animals. We have created cities, made art, and proposed all sorts of scientific theories. That doesn't come easy. We do reign supreme, but it is was not set by anything divine.

The fact you are in a human body is most likely chance. I say most likely, because as one who is at the top of the food chain, one who has the unique ability to think and reason, it is impossible to say without a shadow of a doubt that any other animal exists by free will as we do. The fact remains that most of the world's creatures are on an entirely different plane than humans. That isn't to say a lower plane, but most definitely a different one. Animals live by instinct, a natural sort of urge to grow, survive, and eventually reproduce. Humans, as animals, do too. But the ability to think and reason and the presence of a powerful mind gives us an entirely different playing field. It makes us stronger in ways and weaker in others.

We have risen to great heights because of our minds, but we have also created a mind-world where superstitions, conspiracies, false beliefs and all out paranoid madness persist. Our mind has given us a lot as humans, but it has taken a lot of life away from us, too.

Babies have simpler minds and because of that they live more for the now. Animals have simpler minds, and they too, live for the now. Adults, however, get lost in the world our collective mind has created, and thus, a vicious cycle has started, where generation by generation we get more and more lost in an illusion of the right and wrong ways to live life.

Humans have the capability to be the best creature on earth, but also the potential to be the worst. Like we respect ourselves, we must respect others, human or not. Reincarnation most likely does exist. If you are living one life and are surrounded by an infinite amount of other life, it can be assumed (though it is not provable) that life does continue. After all, you're a part of it now and you know it continues after you leave this body. So why believe you won't tag along for the ride?

The form you take may be unknown, but that doesn't mean you won't be taking one. What exactly reincarnation means, or if it is influenced by say, karma, is too unknown. As of now there seems to be two options in relation to animal life: 1. animals are controlled by some sort of natural force and have no real, complete, controllable consciousness. And 2. they are just like you and I, but with less developed brains, more instinct, and more life. Either way, the chances are you have experienced and will experience a vast array of lives in a vast array of inconceivable or predictable bodies. Just think about how truly unique this life is. From polka music to calamari - this world is strange/great/unique.

And in this world live many plants and creatures. Whether or not plants can sense is a true mystery. I'm inclined to say no (although no one knows for sure). There most likely just a part of our vast, singular, Earth, which is living, breathing, and providing day and night continuously. But it is safe to say by most accounts that the animals that live on that Earth are just as aware as you and I, and that they are just as much alive. We must not forget that in the end we are part of the animal kingdom. We share more similarities with animals than differences. They live among us and experience the world, but from a different perspective. They are not here for us, but with us. Just as the Earth is not here to serve us, but to help us along on the journey of life.

It has long been known by shamans and seekers that the first step in giving up the illusion of life is forfeiting the ego. The ego, roughly defined, is who you believe yourself to be. From your name to your race, your ego is what society has built as the reflection of you. And you, being the impressionable human that you are, accepted that tried and true. The gravestones of millions display the names of egos now departed. But where have those egos gone? Are they in a "heaven" dancing gleefully with friends and relatives long passed also? A place of eternal joy and perpetual ecstasy? Where the best food waits atop gold tables and grapes grow from passing clouds? Where death is known no more and a bright light shines through and over everything? No. They are not. They are six feet in the Earth, most likely rotted to dust by now. Heaven is fiction (as is Hell). There is no debate, because there is no proof. And there is no point in having faith in that which is not. Heaven was created by men out of their own fear of death, that inevitable not being that we will all face sooner or later. A belief in Heaven is an escapist attitude and those days are over.

But do not fear, fellow travelers. Because at heart we are all on a journey. Our own individual journey. But it does not transcend lives, nor does it end in a Heaven or a Hell - or a nothing. The worst and the best, the brightest and the darkest, the most and the least all play out in the vast truth of equilibrium. And as any good traveler will tell you, one journey's end brings another's beginning. We are on the journey of a lifetime, an infinite one. You will not remember this life 100 human years from now, just as you don't remember the moment you were birthed into this world, or your first step onto it. You will not remember because there is no reason to remember. Those that live in the Present are given something more precious, more true, more abundant, than all the pillars of Heaven lined up until the end of that fictional kingdom. When you are aware of the moment and nothing else. When the past fades away as quickly as the future comes into your sight, sound, taste, smell, and touch, you are on a ride with no end and no beginning. Where the admission is free and the speed indeterminable. You are experiencing life in an IMAX theater of reality. And when you are aware of life you are alive, and you are aware of it now, so why fear? Something - some indistinguishable force - has brought you here. It does not judge you. It will not punish you. And it will never be entirely known. But it has brought you here, know that. And seek nothing else.

The animal fear of death has destroyed mankind. It has given rise to a society built on fake spectacles and trivial pursuits. Escapists minds have built an escapist world. Those that believe they live in reality are in for a rude awakening. Reality is something far different - far more real and overwhelming - than most are ready to accept. Reality is energy. Reality is infinity. Reality is complete and utter shifting, falling, unknown, impermanence. It is the fire of the sun. The depth of the universe unknowable. The beating heart that seems to beat for no real reason at all. It is the flesh rotting off the bones of those men dead long ago.

And so we come back to that fact: why believe in something that doesn't exist? Death is very real. We all join the Earth again someday and yet we live our lives forgetting we walk, sleep, and live on it every second of our lives. It yields to us and takes us back in to yield to those after us. The fossil fuels that run our cars today were the animals of yesterday. The plants grow out of former life that now manifests itself in rocks, dirt, and minerals. This planet is in a constant state of mass recycling. Lives are lived and lived again. But not by the same person, or the same thing. Each living thing is unique in that it is the only one of its kind to grace this Earth, at this time, in this stretch of an infinite universe. So we are unique, we are "special," but we are not infinitely us.

Life is life experiencing life. You are alive, you are experiencing that which is, that which makes up the collective thing called life. But you are not you. You belong to Nature. You have control of "you," but every ounce of your being is something else, something completely organic, something you had no part in creating, only manipulating with your mind. You are the body of a species that took millions of years to evolve. One that literally came from the primordial, fundamental core of this Earth. Society has been built out of a single seed. We are all connected, indefinitely, infinitely, indelibly. Solids, liquids, and gases make up our surroundings. But they are not separate. They are atoms, side by side, connected. Separation is a complete and utter illusion. The flame of a candle is connected to the air around it. It may appear to stand alone, but it is not. Just as a human being is not disconnected from his or her surroundings, or a bird from the sky around it. When you feel the wind on your face, you are not just feeling it, you are coming in contact with it, coming in contact with an energy that is always there, in gas form, surrounding you, feeding you oxygen and life.

Nature/reality/existence is literally feeding itself to you so that you can experience it through it. Life is the miracle of being for the sake of being. Because nonbeing simply isn't any fun. There is, however, such a thing as nonbeing. There has to be. The corpses underneath the headstones in a graveyard are experiencing something, and that something is nothing. But they'll never know it. Just as you'll never know it when you die, because you can never know it. You can only experience it, and when you are experiencing it you are alive and incapable of knowing it - only experiencing it. The truth (life in the Present) is unknowable because if you were to know it, it would take the fun away. What's the point in watching a movie if you can see the cameras, and the cords, and the director in the background all the time? Then you would know you were watching a movie - you would know the magic behind it and that would make it pointless. You cannot know the unknowable and even when in that vast nothing called death, one is incapable of knowing, because they can't know in that state. There is nothing to relate it to, no life to make contemplations and surmises, no senses to make sense of it all.

That is to say, there is no soul. The soul is an illusion. The "soul" is a rough term for the non-interconnected lives that we will live infinitely. The lives are connected by infinite energy that is always present, but not connected in any sort of subjective way. You are not all you'll know and you are not all there is, and yet you are, to you, NOW, but not always. You will be something/someone else, but always linked to it in spirit, or energy in a physical reality that goes on and on and on. There is no higher calling. There is no greater good. There is no infinite soul on a determined journey to achieve some sort of greatness. The greatness is already here and you are capable of seeing it. But first you must open your eyes. Open all of your senses. There is some sort of eternal, objective, good, a recognition of reality that manifests itself as "Heaven," but it is not reached by becoming something. It is reached by becoming nothing, becoming merely a reflection of life itself - the all seeing eye in the midst of things. Walk into the forest, but leave only your footsteps. The forest changes, but does not end, as you will change forms, but will never end.

There are no ends. And Heaven as we describe it today is described as an end. Now is the end and now is infinite. You are not infinite, but it is, and you are a part of it, so thus you are infinite. Each journey breeds another journey and thus no end is possible. One thing done entails another trial to overcome. And that means that the life you are living now is all there is - for now. You will live again, but that life will have absolutely no relation to this one. There is no need to even think about that now, because that hasn't happened yet. Energy hasn't taken up that form, you are here now. You emerged into these five senses and these five senses will end eventually. You are powered by your mind and you have the power to escape it, but you cannot escape your body without ending this life. There is no escape from reality. And physical reality is as much a reality as any. There is no soul that can transcend infinity. To live you must be in a form, and that form is body. There is mind. There is body. There is not soul.

Not to sound pessimistic. There is a "soul" to an extent, just not the one we're used to thinking of. The soul is the state you reach when you're in your mind and body, but have completely transcended out of them. When you have reached a state of nirvana, a state of true acceptance and true appreciation... true love of life and all its details and quirks. When you have come to love the unknown and unknowable and take it as it comes. That is what soul is and it is possible to achieve it. It is possible to live the life of a soul in the life of a body with a mind. But first one must accept that they are in a mortal body, that that mortal body will eventually die, and that another mortal body will follow it. That they are not going to Heaven when they die. That Heaven is NOW. There will be more nows, but why worry about them. They are unknowable, because they have not yet happened, so live in today. Don't live in the past. And don't live in the future. Live in the now and it is there you will find eternity. The dead are dead. The not-yet-born are not yet born. Don't live a life stuck in the past or one glued to the future. Only the moment will set you free. The moment/present/now/exact second is the truth. It is what all humans are looking for. It is why everything from roller coasters, to drugs, to this thrill or that exist. To get people in the Present so that they feel truly alive.

And you are truly alive. Your heart is beating and you don't control it. It beats for you and no one else. It beats so that you may experience and so that you may live. It beats for the moon and it beats for the sun and from just outside Earth you can hear the quiet sound of billions of heartbeats. In sync and infinite, recycling time and time again for the sake of the beat. The rhythm of life. Beyond Earth there are many other lives experiencing life, but for now you are you. Know that by you, I do not mean who you think you are, but the collective experiences the body that you currently inhabit calls its own. And you will live again. You will meet new people, see new places, know new things you could never even imagine existed. There is only one New York City in the universe. There is only one thing called pizza in the universe. There was only one President Lincoln and one Mahatma Gandhi in the universe. Earth is a very unique place, cherish it while you can. Experience as much as you can and love it all equally and unconditionally. You may only be here once and although you won't remember it, living in the Present will render that fact void, because living through all your senses in this precise moment ensures eternity, it is now and it is all you know.

One day you'll awake another person/thing/species in another place in space and time. As you awoke into this body so you'll awake into another. You are in a physical reality and that is all there is. You are your five senses as perceived by your brain and nothing else. You are a part of a physical universe that longs to persist. It is no wonder every species is so concerned with procreation. It is the continuation of life that gives us hope and promise, for we know that we are a part of it. Somewhere far off there are individuals within species just meeting that will one day ensure our life in another place, somewhere in this very universe we will be born again. And again and so on, forever. Forever does exist. Individual life has a beginning and an end, but life itself does not. It is energy, and energy changes forms but never disappears. But the goal of life is not procreation, just as it is not reaching Heaven, or scoring a perfect score on an exam, or winning a million dollars, etc. There is no goal to life except to live. To take it as it comes and love every minute of it for better and for worse. To realize that one is not entitled to anything nor should expect anything. Nothing is certain or expected in an unknowable universe. Your heart could stop a minute from now or decades from now. There is no telling.

And there is no need to tell. Or to know. Or to ask. It is the day man begins to ask who-what-when-where-why-how that he digs his own grave. Life is not a game. Life is not an obstacle. Life is not a puzzle. Life is a ride. Life is a free fall. Life is a journey. Life is your five senses and the body that supports them. Life is not a soul that aims for some higher good or understanding. Life is what you look at every time you open your eyes - and close them. Life is the interconnected energy that makes up your surroundings and manifests itself as an environment. These indefinite surroundings are nothing more than an apparent phenomenon. Think of yourself as the organic matter that you are. Walking across a vast solid sphere in the middle of an infinitely vast space. You are not grounded, you are floating. You are floating in an existence that knows no up or down. You are spinning on a planet that knows no end, in a reality that only knows today. You are part of something huge, but are undeniably small. But you are your world and your world is you. There is brilliance in the greatness of things, but also in the detailed genius of a room or a pile of clothes or a drop of water. The vast universe is made up of little lives, just as our gigantic sun is made of simple flames the size of a candle burst. And across the universe infinite heartbeats beat on and with them, life.

True Love

True Love is the opposite of what the human mind thinks it is, because true love is not of the mind. We are looking for love in all of the wrong places, in the past and the future, in emotional attachment, comfort and acceptance, in people or things. True Love is not something to be gained or lost, not something that will come as a result of finding someone or something, not something that will be lost as a result of letting go of someone or something. True Love is a love affair with life itself. Life is always in the Present, giving itself to you unconditionally. Life in the Present is all that is, everything real, completely fulfilling in and of itself, waiting for you to let it in. True Love is boundless and limitless, undying, and always new. True Love = Life, all that you sense in the Present. To love truly is to be Present.

There is really only one choice; to be with love/life, or to be with the mind. To be or not to be. This love in the Present can be shared and reflected between beings, or it can be blocked out by the mind and wasted. True love is to be shared, not gained or lost.

Love builds on love. As Kahlil Gibran says in The Prophet: (From Love) "Love gives naught but itself and takes naught but from itself. Love possesses not nor would it be possessed; For love is sufficient unto love." (From Marriage) "Love one another, but make not a bond of love: let it rather be a moving sea between the shores of your souls. Fill each others cup but drink not from one cup." True love is being in love with love itself, not with another person or thing.

As The Beatles said: "In the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make." The more life that you let in through your senses, the more love you have to reflect to others. It is that simple. You have to lay your burden down, lay your mind down, and just surrender to life. The more love you take in, the love more you make, or more accurately, reflect to other beings. You cannot "make" or create True Love, because True Love is not of the mind. You can only be a mirror of love, a mirror of life in the Present, which is your true-self. You cannot reflect love to others unless you open up to life in the present. When you are fulfilled with life, you can't help but reflect it back out to others.

You don't have to give life to your mind, because you are not your mind. You are a mirror of life. Your mind blocks, filters, and interprets life, which prevents you from experiencing life truly and completely. You must be a mirror of life, a surrendered receiver of life. Life in the Present is always new. To experience life fully, to experience True Love, you must let life in and reflect it back out without holding on to anything, without mental intrusions. You must leave no room for the mind to receive the new life that is always coming to you. "Being absent from the body (mind) is being present with the Lord (Life)."

Relationships between men and women, parents and children are the foundation of our society. Over 50% of marriages end in a a divorce these days. Most of the marriages and relationships that last are because of a false sense of security, such as financial security, or attachment, such as emotional dependence or a pleasurable sex life. Of course, some relationships last because of love for the children, and the carnal attraction between man and woman. Carnal love is love for just a part of life, such as love for a women, love for your children, etc. Very few relationships, if any, are founded on truth and love. It is staggering to see the divorce statistics. We must fix our relationships, or we will never be able to live as One and build a heaven on Earth. This starts with realizing what true love is. The foundation for a successful relationship is the truth and the life.

You may have noticed that I speak in generalizations from time to time. Do not let it bother you. It is when we get caught up in the endless details of life that we miss the mark, the truth in the present. We have to look at the big picture, and so sensible generalization is absolutely essential.

Let us look at man/woman relationships:

Men don't realize the true reason they are so attracted to women. It is because women are love/life personified; they are mysterious and beautiful, unpredictable and emotional. "There's something in the way she moves," as the Beatles said. Women balance men out, because they do not feel the need to hide their love away like men do. This is why women often show more emotion than men. Men have been conditioned to hide their love away and control their emotions, or else they will be labeled "soft" and "gay" by other minds. Women bring men into the present with their emotion and presence, while spiritual men set women free from their mind by being stable, not perpetuating the woman's emotions with aggressiveness and stubbornness.

Women give men life at birth, and they give men life after birth with just a smile, a laugh, an eruption of excitement. Women are naturally more in touch with their bodies and life in the Present, so they have an easier time reflecting it right back out. Women give men love that takes them out of their mind and in the present, and spiritual men give women truth which allows women to give love unconditionally. When both the man and the woman live in the truth and the life, they set each other free from the mind, and balance each other out. The unity of Truth and Love is the foundation of a fulfilling relationship, because both the man and the women can be completely present with each other, sharing the love in the present, without their minds blocking it out. The mind complicates relationships, and brings attachment, fear, lust, control, paranoia, and many other negative emotions into a relationship.

Women tend to "blow in the wind" more easily, because women are love, and their natural state is to flow with life. Women give love, and they want to be loved. The problem is, women don't know that they are life personified. When women realize the truth and get in touch with their natural state, they will be free to give love unconditionally, but only to a man who knows the truth. Women really need to be loved, not deceived, not lusted, not obsessed over, not even understood, just loved.

Men naturally live more in the mind. Because of this, men are mostly responsible for creating the world we live in today. Also, men are responsible for creating the minds of women. Women are deceived by men, fooled by the mind. Men built the world we live in today to please women and shape their minds to suit the desires of men. Men have embedded social roles into the minds of women, and this has distracted women from their natural state of giving love unconditionally. Women have been conditioned to believe that their purpose is to please their mate, sexually and mentally, by constantly worrying about their physical appearance and agreeing with whatever the man says. This in turn just strengthens the ego of the man. It is a vicious cycle. Men are under complete control of the mind, and are using it to deceive women instead of giving them truth and reflecting the love right back.

Some excerpts from "Making Love - Sexual Love The Divine Way" by Barry Long:

"Woman must be loved. The future of the human race depends on woman being loved, because only when woman is truly loved can man be truly himself and regain his lost authority. Only then can peace return to earth. Yet woman as she is now cannot be loved for long (or for good) by man as he is now. Together they are trapped in a vicious cycle, and if left to their own ideas of love, there is no way out for them.

By teaching her to please him and satisfy him down through the ages, man has taught woman to desire him, to project herself sexually, to make herself attractive to him. He addicted her to an emotional and physical craving for his sexual attention, and he did this by neglecting to love her."

All relationship problems arise because those involved in the relationship do not know what true love is. Men and women simply do not know how to share the love that radiates from all directions in the present, and this is because men and women are blocking out the love in the present with their minds. As of now, relationships are founded on attachment, which perpetuates the fear of losing the other, losing love. Relationships need to be founded on truth, so that we can give our children truth and love instead of fear and deception. Always remember, love is not gained or lost; love is the opposite of what the mind thinks it is. Love is to be shared in the Present. If we do not base our relationships on a foundation of truth and love, we will continue to mislead our children into deception and fantasy.

Jesus said, "Raise your children in Love and Truth. Cover them with Love and show them the Way of Life through your godly example, so that they will not have cause to depart from it."

BE with LIFE, not the MIND. Let LIFE leave no room for the MIND.
Radiate DIVINE, UNDYING, LIMITLESS LOVE, always in the Present.

Men, seek and spread the truth to transform your mind so that you may receive and reflect the True Love in the Present. Stop using the mind to deceive, to lie. Tell the truth. Do not chase women who will only satisfy your mind and your sexual fantasies. Wait for a woman who truly satisfies your soul beyond physical beauty and mind games.

Women, wake up. Stop giving your attention to fools and phonies who will never be able to truly satisfy your soul. Give your attention to True Love, to life in the Present. Wait for a man who devotes his life to the truth, a spiritual man, one who reflects the love you radiate like a mirror. You will find all the romance and love you could have ever dreamed in your wildest dreams, but it will not be a fantasy, it will be real. Give your love to a man who truly satisfies your soul, your spirit, not a man who satisfies only your mind and your carnal desires.

True love is being in love with life itself.

Mirror Of Life

The wisest question we can ask ourselves is as follows:
Who am I?

We may answer the question by stating our name, but that is just a label, a composition of sounds put together to conveniently identify ourselves and others. We may look beyond this label and answer the question by saying "I am a human body, recycled bits of the universe that have come together to support a living being." But these bodies, these organs, these cells, are constantly dying, reproducing, and changing. Our bodies are in a constant state of change, and your body is not the same as it was one second ago, one minute ago, one year ago. You may think about the unique ego/identity that you use, and say "I am my thoughts." But what "hears" your thoughts, what receives them? Thoughts, conceptualizations, labels, emotions, they are all electrical activity in the brain. What receives all of your thoughts, feelings and emotions? You may look even deeper, and answer the question by saying "I am my mind." But how can you be your mind? Your mind has been shaped by other minds since the day you were born into this world out of your mothers womb. Your mind is the result of interacting with the collective mind throughout your whole life, learning, adapting, conceptualizing. Knowledge physically changes the structure of your brain, and thus your mind. You are not your mind, because your mind is a manifestation of the collective mind formed by all past actions, future aspirations, events, and thoughts. What is it that receives what the mind creates, that pays attention to it?

You keep peeling back the onion, so to speak, until you realize that you are not who you think you are. You realize that you cannot identify yourself with any of these aggregates, as they are in a state of constant change.

Has life stopped coming directly to you? The only thing that hasn’t changed is that you are here now, whoever “you” are.

So, who are you?

The "true self" is beyond labels, but can best be described as Nothingness. Behind your physical body, behind your labels, behind your thoughts, there is the Seer. Awareness. Oneness. You are that. An Infinite Void, filled with life, filled with energy, including the mind. You are a Mirror of Life, a Receiver, a Spirit.

Life is always coming to you from all directions in the Present. At the core of your being, you are a mirror of life. Your mind does not allow you to receive all that is coming to you, because it filters what is coming through your senses. Usually, this includes your sense of sight right in front of you and your thoughts. Evolution has programmed our minds to focus exclusively on these things for our survival, to adapt and to learn about an unfamiliar world. Now, we are familiar with our world. Our minds have shaped our world to suit our desires, to survive. Now, the mind is blocking out life, and we (mirrors of life) still spend most of our time giving life to our minds, getting caught up in our thoughts, and only focusing on what the mind thinks is important. Well, we don't have to miss out on the life that is coming to us anymore. We are not lost on an unfamiliar planet anymore.

The mind is the gatekeeper of life, because it focuses on what is perceived to be important. We know that life is coming from all directions, because we can sense it. We can feel it, smell it, and hear it. You feel the ground beneath your feet, the wind on your back. You hear sounds behind you, beside you, all around you. Life is not just coming to you from where your field of vision can perceive; it is coming to you from above, below, behind, and all around. Life is literally coming directly to you from all directions in the Present.

People don't realize they have two selves. You have a mind-self (false-self, ego/identity), and a spiritual-self (true-self, Mirror of life). Realize that you are the Mirror, a Spirit, Consciousness; this is your True Self. You give life to your mind; you pay attention to it. Your mind is like a valuable tool; when you don't need it, you can put it away, lay it down. Surrender to life. When you are thinking, you are your mind, because your mind is in between you and Life. We don't need to constantly think, worry, conceptualize, and label anymore, because we are missing most of the life that is coming to us right now. This is hard to realize, because evolution has programmed our minds to take control and drive our every action.

We can now see that we are not our minds, because as we receive life, we give life to the mind. We don't have to pay attention to the mind, give life to the mind. We can just let life in and reflect it back out, like a mirror.

When you get angry, it is because you give life to the anger created by the mind. When you worry, it is because you give life to the worry created by the mind. When you hate, it is because you give life to the hate created by the mind. When you are greedy, it is because you give life to the greed created by the mind. When you are sad, it is because you give life to the sadness created by the mind. When you envy, it is because you give life to the jealousy created by the mind. This is all going on between your mind-self and spiritual-self, true self. Life in the present is manipulated by the mind; the mind cannot create anything real. You don't have to pay attention to these negative thoughts, emotions, and feelings, these desires. If the mind creates something, it can stop creating it.

Don't get me wrong; the mind is the most valuable tool we have, as it helps us stay alert, survive, and function. A Spirit/Consciousness (what we are) could not get anything done without a mind.

Friends, it is time to realize that we can control our minds if we realize our true self. We need to put the Spirit in front of the mind, become spiritual beings. The mind has created the world we live in today, but right now, the mind is out of control, and we have become too dangerous for this to continue. We now have the technology to destroy ourselves, and our emotions and impulses are running wild. The mind will continue to do great things if we get it under control. We must see past the mind and embrace Oneness. We each must get control of our own mind, so that it transforms from our boss to our technical consultant, from our controlling overlord to our companion, from The Great Deceiver to our Guardian Angel. A mind in front of the Spirit is deceiving, but a mind serving Spirit is the most productive, most useful tool we have.

It's time to LIVE my friends. Lay down your burden, lay down your mind when it does not need to be active. Stop giving life to the illusions of ego, of false security, of separation. You are a MIRROR OF LIFE. Just let life in from all directions, and reflect it back out, like a mirror. This mirror, this Spirit, is the Unmoving Core of your being.

Life is giving itself to you unconditionally, coming directly to you from all directions, always, in the Present. Your senses are a window to the physical universe through which you receive life. You must become your senses to be fulfilled by life in the present. You are the universe experiencing the universe, receiving life through your senses at your own awareness level, which is filtered and manipulated by your mind. Without the mind blocking life, you receive all of life, and reflect it all back out without any mental intrusions. Being a spotless mirror of life is the ultimate state of consciousness. You must be like Nothing to receive/reflect Everything (Life).

Be aware of your breathing, always happening in the Present, but blocked out by the mind. Taste all the subtle flavors in the foods you eat that are usually ignored by your mind. Smell the aromas that are always there, but filtered by your mind. Feel the ground beneath your feet, the wind on your skin and through your hair, the warmth of the sun. Hear the birds chirp, the leaves rustle, the voices and laughter of humans, the intoxicating sounds of the pick hitting the guitar strings. See all the shades of green from the leaves in the trees to the moss on the ground. See life, listen to life, feel life, smell life, taste life.

All that you sense is in the Present. It is all for you, yet it doesn't belong to you. Life flows through you and all around you, surrounds you, just waiting for you to let it in.

Open up your Present.

Cogito ergo sum: a product of humanity, as are we all

First and foremost we will always be a part of Nature. This is referring to Nature not simply as instinct, flora/fauna, etc., but the phenomenon of the physical world collectively. This means all things that can be perceived are nature, no matter how synthetic they appear.

By taking everything as phenomenon, one must accept that all in reality is of Nature and that nothing is inseparable from it. Even when a person is in the most manmade of settings they are still fully and completely in Nature, because Nature makes up all that is and known in real life. Being in a human body makes one an animal, as an animal we are of Nature inherently and always.

The day one grows up is the day they realize everything is an illusion. One created by the mind for our own good, for our survival as an animal, at least. This growing up requires a complete surrendering of security. A full letting go. One must give up all they hold dear, un-grasp their clenched hands and accept all things, good, bad, and neutral. That person must give up: Security through money. Security through language. Security through government. Security through self. Security from believing that anything they know is true. The continuous goal of humanity and all creatures is security. Security in a chaotic universe is a wonderful thing, but one is never truly secure, and this is where the problem begins.

So let’s go back… to birth.

When was it that we felt the most secure? It was when we were in our mother’s womb. We felt complete warmth, complete protection, complete contentment. The outside world was far away, all things were provided, and we had not a worry in the world. Then we were thrown out. Out we flew! In seconds we went from complete creature comfort into the world. And there it was in all its cruel glory. Doctors with cold metal objects, bright lights, talking in a language we’d never heard, in voices we couldn’t comprehend. All was new. The counters, the instruments, the ceiling, the floor, the door, the peering eyes. We had been born, a new member of the human race. It was the first day of the rest of our lives on planet Earth. Of course we were too caught up in the moment to realize this. What were these hands and these arms attached to us, once hidden in the darkness of the womb but finally visible by the medical lights above? And what happened to that warmth we’d cherished for an eternity (9 months in human reality)? It was gone and we were left bare and naked, small and ignorant, to live or to die on the drawing room floor.

And so we learned. From the moment we popped out we learned. We don’t know why we did it – it was simply instinct – but we learned, nevertheless. We learned gravity and then touch. Walking and then language. Like a seed blasting upward, we looked up and imitated, absorbed everything. And for what? For survival, in hopes that that said survival would bring the security we’d found in a time drifting further and further off, our former home that is no longer. Religion, money, government, the notions of good and bad, the notion of self and the ego are all born from one large goal: security. A desire to feel the security we did in our first nine months. Drugs, sex, rock and roll… it can all be traced back to that one simple thing.

Advertisers promise it, employers promise it, the government promises it, religion promises it, money promises it, technology promises it, the justice system promises it, knowledge promises it. Nearly every single incentive is born from this notion of finding contentment and control. But there’s one problem: security doesn’t exist and never will. In a universe where entire planets can be absorbed by a black hole in a second, on an Earth where militaries hold the power to obliterate everything we know, in a body that can go haywire at any second, we are never safe. Life is chance. An animal play by play.

Human beings are very much animals. Humans are animals to the core. We’ve simply disguised our motives so beautifully so as to forget our lack of security, that we’ve thought ourselves something better, something above, something… divine. Humans are the most intelligent species on Earth, there’s no disputing that, but we are no less animalistic than the most beastly of beasts. At heart we are our ancestors. As we sit around the T.V., we are cavemen sitting in caves around a fire.

Food: Humans eat like every other species. Sure we don’t graze in fields or chase down animals for food (usually), but in the end we must consume to survive. And in that consuming we find security, another day to live. We have disguised this primitive aspect of ourselves greatly, though. From fast food restaurants to supermarkets, from diners to 5-star brasseries, we have completely separated ourselves from what food truly is. Food has become a pleasure, something to do, an opportunity to socialize, etc., but it is simply one of the most primitive aspects of being an animal. Take lunch away from someone for one afternoon and they’ll complain about being hungry the rest of the day. They’ll demand and suggest food because of that aching phenomenon in their stomach. We’ve turned hunger into a word, food into a thing. In reality hunger is impossible to define and food is survival. We treat it as an art or a profession because admitting it was something far greater would remind us of the brutal fact we’re in a mortal body that must constantly feed like a parasite off a flourishing planet to survive.

Sex: Is everywhere. On magazine covers, on T.V., on the internet, in movies, in books, in art… all forms of media. And once again we’ve de-animalized ourselves from it. By this I don’t mean that people don’t admit that it’s an animal instinct that they feel the need to act on, but that through colloquial language and culture we have turned it into something entirely different than what it actually is. Human beings don’t look at the big picture. We’ve created a sort of pseudo-synthetic culture out of sex. We’ve accepted it as inevitable, as innate, but we’ve never truly come to terms with the fact that the only reason it exists, the only reason there is desire, etc. is because we are mortal, because in our animal minds we must procreate ASAP for reasons we can’t know for sure. By phenomenon; By nature. All we know is we must. It is nature. We are animals. And animals are always at nature’s whim. Sex is there and we act on it, because we are animals, because we are not above it, but of it. Posters on walls of supermodels aren’t posters on walls of supermodels, they’re pieces of printed paper with an animal on it, worshiped by another animal that sees that other animal as the ultimate means of survival, of all that makes up what is, a necessary component to continuing life, consciously and subconsciously.

Shelter: We live in it and we give it names: “home sweet home,” apartment complex, projects, dorm room. In reality they are feebly built natural structures a few levels above the Neanderthal’s cave. They have a lifetime (if lucky) of about 75 or so odd years and then they fall down, or are demolished. We need them to survive yet once again we completely distort the reality of what they are. They become a place we frequent instead of a place necessary for our comfort and ultimate survival. We believe we’ve evolved and come somewhere over all these years, but we’ve come nowhere, we’re still using the Earth – Nature – and thus haven’t made it very far at all. In making them our places of fixation and comfort, we separate ourselves from Nature, but we don’t rise ourselves above it. It is true that living in the woods doesn’t make much sense when we live in a world where we’ve created such rich/comfortable artificial habitats, but I have a feeling we’d feel much closer to Earth, a lot less artificial and nearer to what we truly are if we did live there.

…The list goes on and on, but the simple message is: mankind, through its own creation (government, borders/countries, language, economies, etc., etc., etc.) has created a completely artificial world that is present in every single individual mind, as well as the collective mind-whole that makes up the entire human race. Even physically, the human world is visible all around us, we’ve made the blueprints for a world entirely different from how it was originally presented to us. However, we are still entirely of it, everything we can touch came from Earth, we are made of Earth, entirely and completely. We manipulate it, but if we manipulate it enough, it will destroy us.

And this is where security comes into play again. Our mind seeks survival and in doing so has created a human world that constantly seeks to depersonalize us from what we truly are. Many people claim to know that they are mortal, that they are completely of Earth, natural, organic… but do they truly realize it? I’d say less than one percent of the world truly is aware of their mortality, especially in the Western World. Our minds have created a society that constantly seeks to make us believe in forever, in security.

Promise after promise in the end will not fix the fact that we are all going to be dead in 100 years, that we are simply paving the way for a future generations that will also be dead in 100 years after that and so on and so on. Human beings are not above animals. We have evolved more, at least with regards to intellect, but we are not above. This is a truth. But ask most people and they’d disagree. Why? Because we’ve created a world where we’ve inflated our own importance, where we’ve made ourselves believe that there’s a heaven waiting for us and nothing else on the planet, that our art holds higher significance and is important, that sports games actually matter, that we are unique. That being able to manipulate the world, to destroy it, to kill off its animals and plunder its land means that we are above it. That somehow our intellect makes us superior. But who are we to judge that intellect is what makes a species tried-and-true? Who are we to claim or dominion? We are no more beautiful than a butterfly and its colors. We are no more unique than a dog with all its shades and markings. We are no more powerful than an ant that can carry 50 times its weight, no more mighty than a bird that can fly miles into the sky. We believe we are, because we seek purpose in our lives, because we like to think we’re here for something more. That we mean something. But we don’t. We are beautiful. We are unique. We are powerful. And we are mighty. But we are not above Nature. We are not above other animals. Our minds have told us so, but our minds have deceived us. We’re on an ego trip that’s going to send us crashing down eventually.

Human beings want to believe that the human race is something special, but it is not. We cannot truly understand the social compounds of other species, we can never truly understand what it all means, and yet we think ourselves above it. We think because we can send a plane from continent to continent we’re worth something. But were has it really gotten us? What have governments brought us except war, separation, and death? On top of that very few truly democratic governments exist, most are owned by the rich and by the powerful, not by the people (U.S. included). What has money brought us except luxury for some and complete poverty for others? And what is luxury but temporary security and satisfaction? Language is a great thing, it helps us to communicate and is essential, but it too has harmed us. It has separated us from what we truly are. Most animals live much shorter lives than us, but in those lives they live 10 times longer, because they’re not caught up in numbers and words, worries and superficialities. Humans will destroy themselves through their own institutions, through their own farfetched inventions and ideas that promise them everything but deliver them nothing… in the end, that is, when they’re six feet under. Ask a dead man what years of investing in this and that does for him now.

We are not above other species, but we do have a strong power to reason. And what does this mean? It means that even though such things as ownership and competition are natural, so are feelings of injustice and offense. I’m not simply asking us to shed these things as a country or a community, but as a world, because these things are unfair in the current human structure on our planet. The money system and the current economic set up of the Earth were not developed “naturally” or by some process of evolution. Some places/countries/people were simply at the right place at the right time and had manipulation and power on their side. And now others are paying for this while they soak up the benefits. Why is it that a factory worker puts out 10 times as much physical exertion as say, a CEO, yet gets paid 10 times less money, possibly even less? How is it that a sweatshop worker in Bangladesh makes 10 cents an hour and will never travel outside of her home country, and yet a T.V. show host wearing the clothing she made makes loads of cash traveling the world for a show where he gorges on food and bears a wave and a smile (no offense Andrew Zimmern)? That is not natural, or reflective of some sort of evolutionary imparity, it is the creation of the human mind, and it is wrong, it does not work in accordance with Nature.

There is one thing that seems to think itself better than Nature, and that is the human mind. The human mind is wrong. Want to know the meaning of life? It is this: the human mind is wrong. Wrong. In Nature he who works the hardest gets the most. Everything is of nature, but if anything isn’t, it’s the human mind, the things man creates are of Nature, but those ideas are something flimsy and deceptive. They have the power to form something powerfully beautiful, but are often used to satisfy brutal, animalistic aims. Only Nature is perfect, man seeks to emulate Nature in this respect and by his own devices, but he has forgotten that he is of it, that he cannot create something apart from it that will work effectively. Only it works effectively. And nature knows not capitalism or communism, nation or border, law or currency, language or numbers. Nature knows only harmony and the current system is anything but harmonious. It will fail, and we could take the easy way out and accept this, or we could realize and embrace our potential and live by Nature, harmoniously with it and of it. There needs to be no creating of systems. Embrace Nature and learn from it and equality, justice, and harmony will follow. Guaranteed. There is a reason mankind suffers greatly today. It has always suffered, but there’s a new sense of isolation and angst today, and it is because we’ve fallen to our own devices. Wealthy and fortunate people have an artificial happiness that is deeply rooted in denial. Why is it that depression is so common in the developed world? Poor and less fortunate people are living miserable lives, especially physically. Everyone seems to be unhappy in one way or another.

Ownership and competition are natural, but because man has the power to reason, because he has been given that evolutionary gift (remind you, he is still not above other animals, simply a step ahead if you will, for some good, but mostly bad; the strongest example of good being reason, bad, the mind), he has the ability to acknowledge ownership and competition but to also acknowledge giving and surrender. This can be seen in Nature. A tree gives. One animal surrenders a mate to another. We can learn from Nature, but we must not be led astray by our minds, we must accept reason, because mankind is the struggle between mind and reason. Mind is not natural. Reason is. Things are created in the mind that are completely absurd and have no relation to Nature. Reason, like conscience, is natural. Good and evil are simply these two things brought down to their metaphorical core. The human race can use its gifts of mind and reason towards good – where reason dominates mind – or towards bad – where mind dominates reason. Saying simply that the ills of today can be brushed off by accepting that it’s simply the will of evolution is giving in to the mind, it is accepting that reason is irrational, and that must never be accepted. We have the power to change this world. Whether it is by divine order, evolution, whatever, we will probably never know. All we do know is that our mind and our reason give us power. Now comes the question: do we use the two for a higher good, or for animal injustice?

Life may seem good, especially in the Western World, but on a global scale something is wrong.

Something is wrong with money if the majority of the world lives in poverty. The life expectancy in Japan is 81 years, yet in Swaziland it is 32 years. There is something wrong here. One could brush this off as simply natural selection or evolution, but that would be irresponsible. Why? Because as humans we are intelligent – we aren’t above Nature – but we are intelligent. We are intelligent enough to know of injustice and to feel indignation. Yet we are also selfish animals that seek only our own survival in the end. So we may say we care about the people of Swaziland, but in reality we could care less. Yesterday world hunger hit 1 billion (http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/8109698.stm). There are people relaxing on beaches, sipping martinis, living in penthouses, ripping their teeth into juicy meat with all the gusto in the world and yet 1 billion people are starving to death. We are of Nature, and it is something of Nature, our conscience, that tells us this is wrong. Yet why does it persist? Because we’re living in a world that has been created entirely wrong. If you read that BBC article you'll find that they blame the rapid rise in hunger on the current global financial crisis, which is the result of a failing system of money, debt, and credit. Our mind has created a money system that is vastly abhorrent. It may work – for some – but for billions (the large majority) it doesn’t. The problem? The rich minority runs things and could care less? Why?

Because it THINKS it has found SECURITY.

Back to security, what it all comes down to. That awful desire to be back in that comfort of the womb.

The rich people of this world (you, I, the Western World) have forgotten one simple thing – we’re all going to die. The televisions, the warm homes, the fine dining, the good education, the cars, the technology – everything – is going to eventually disappear completely, entirely, and forever – at least with respect to this earth and this life. And yet the disastrous system that we’ve created constantly tries to distract us from this unpleasant fact. So what do we do? We shiver warmly like cowards in our false-security and pretend the rest of the world doesn’t exist, while acknowledging with all our might that it does. It is only when we are willing to give up everything, when we are willing to go back to Nature, and accept our place in it, when we do away with the systems we so proudly proclaim are working (because denying so would be denying everything we’ve come to live for) will we find peace. Mankind must face the reality that is death and other inevitabilities in Nature before it can make the next leap to true security, which is security in the acceptance that there is no security, not artificial security which has bred government, the money system, religion, etc.

The world is a deeply troubled place. People talk of respect for cultures. I say to hell with them. It is culture that has us so deeply rooted in a past that is dead. People talk of respect for religions. I say to hell with them. Religion based on false promise is better gone. People talk of respect for institutions. I say to hell with them. We must constantly change our way of thinking… institutions seek to ground us, life is always flowing. People talk of respect for the government. I say to hell with it. Government is an illusion of security, we must build mutual respect so that governments are not necessary. People say we must respect the military. I say to hell with it. The military’s sole purpose is to kill, and murder is wrong, whatever the reason.

Respect each other, nature, and everything that positively connects the two, and life will eventually get better for every person in the world. It will take time to destroy the system we have, but if we live in the Present, time is on our side.

Most of all we must shed the notion of security. Government is not security. Military is not security. Home is not security. Norton Antivirus is not security. Break-in alarms are not security. Car alarms are not security. Traffic lights are not security. Channel 3 Investigates is not security. Airbags are not security. Money is not security. Laws are not security. Price sales are not security. Banks are not security. Guns are not security. Heart transplants are not security. Vaccines are not security. Prescriptions are not security. Mind is not security.

Only love, Nature, and humility breed any true security. Man has the ability to shed all else and accept these three. He is already of Nature, is already endowed with a conscience (love), all he must learn now is humility. To accept the fact he is mortal, that money doesn’t matter, that government doesn’t matter, that separation isn’t real. He must shed the illusion of his own importance for the acceptance of the collective whole, his ego, and all that he thinks he knows. Accept these and gap between love and Nature will be filled and the three will live in harmony. Mankind will live harmoniously through humility with love in Nature.

Security is an illusion. And no human will ever feel as safe as he did before being born. Those days are over and until each and every person accepts this and is willing to shed their perceived life and accept this notion our currently held worldwide false sense of security will persist, the mind will control, Nature will be distant, and mankind will be doomed. Earth is too good for this. Mankind is too good for this. And the interaction of the two is too beautiful a thing for it to end so soon. Sure it could come crashing down at any second, but then again, that’s what makes it all so damn beautiful. “And so castles made of sand fall in the sea, eventually.”

Bill Clinton: Global cooperation needed for mankind's survival

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Former President Bill Clinton urged people to accept themselves and others in a world system that is "unstable, unequal and unsustainable."

Clinton gave the keynote address Saturday to members of the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee in Washington. The organization gave the 42nd U.S. president its global leadership award.

The world is an "interdependent" system where an event in one country, such as an economic collapse, can affect the entire globe, Clinton said.

The former president said recent events such as the swine flu outbreak prove the system is unstable. Inequalities in health care worldwide show the system is unequal and recent trends in global warming show it is unsustainable, Clinton said.

Global cooperation is crucial for the survival of mankind, he added.

"If we have a chance, it has to begin by people accepting that they can be proud of who they are without despising who someone else is," Clinton said.

To foster this cooperation, people should focus on their similarities because we are genetically "99.5 percent" the same, the former president said.

"From time immemorial, people have fought over identity rooted in that (half percent)," Clinton said. "We should have spent more time thinking about that other 99.5 percent of ourselves."

Clinton also urged the audience to embrace who they are.

"You teach your children their ethnic heritage; their religious heritage; their cultural heritage with no negative reference to anyone else because it's the only shot we've got to make the most of our interdependent world," he said.

The American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee was founded in 1980 to protect the civil rights of Arabs.

We are at a vital point right now, nearing a cusp. We have been separated for so long by our borders, our governments, our religions, our institutions, the mass media, etc. The time has come to embrace unity, embrace Oneness. It is now or never; this is our window of opportunity.

We have been conditioned by the aforementioned organizations into blind acceptance of society, and we are starting to realize it. More and more people are seeing the truth. This is because communication technology has advanced to the point where the masses can be reached in the blink of an eye. The Internet is an incredible network, where we can share and access our collective knowledge.

As of now, most of the Internet is used for games, shopping, and pornography, along with other misleading distractions. The true purpose of the Internet is to define and spread the truth so that the masses can wake up in the blink of an eye.

It's time to stop believing and blindly accepting what anyone says. We will have people preaching and promoting myths and lies until we see the truth for ourselves. We can’t blame these people, because they do not know what they are doing. None of us knows what we’re doing until we learn the truth. Once the truth is revealed, these false preachers and corrupt leaders must accept it, unless they want to stick to their blind, deceptive teachings and policies. What could be more irresponsible than telling someone something is true without knowing beyond a reasonable doubt that it is true? We must think for ourselves; there is no other option.

That said, don’t believe or blindly accept anything or anyone. Don’t believe your government, the media, your teachers, conspiracy theorists, your preachers, your gurus, your parents, your kids, or your friends. Be wary. Be skeptical. Question all of your existing beliefs.

Prophets of the past were beaten down and violently opposed while trying to fight for the truth. We must become modern prophets and spread the truth on the Internet, so that the masses realize the truth at the same time, and we will wake up in the twinkling of an eye. The apocalypse (unveiling) is happening NOW.

Mankind is at a crossroads. Too long have we periled each other and our Earth. Generations before us fell to ignorance, overrun by the promises of tomorrow. Today’s world is the product of unnecessary separation brought about by superficial incentives. It is up to current and subsequent generations to change this.

We now have the power to know that the truth is more than a deity in the sky. It is in each and every one of us. One can see it in the vastness of galaxies and the subtlety of granules or petals. Like our eyes, the world is round. Like the grass, our hair rises to the whims of the wind. Like a tree on its stump, we stand tall and mighty with knowledge. And yet we’ve overlooked these things so apparent. That the truth is not to be discovered nor created, that it is always here amongst us, before us, within us. There is no further proof man needs of this ultimate phenomenon than to simply live it. To know it and to know it well. To be its master, but to fall before it like the leaves to a winter’s gale.

In Nature, Emerson writes: “The sun illuminates only the eye of the man, but shines into the eye and the heart of the child.”

All beings are childish at heart. There remains magic, absurdity, and benign sarcasm in all things. The universe is both wondrous and amusing, serious and insane. Nothing is subjective or objective, and yet everything is.

The true vastness of that infinity strewn before us is incomprehensible and yet entirely known. At heart there is something in each and every one of us (termed the collective unconscious in The Present) that pushes us forward. It is known at birth, visible at death, and in attendance throughout life, no matter how discreet. It is why animal chases animal, wave pushes wave, cloud touches cloud. The order of things is in fact ordered, although not by God in the common sense of the word. See it as rather a collective energy that makes itself seen in life and all that is made up of it. Even a chair or a table has life. Energy rustles in each and every inanimate object, and animate, as well. We, as individuals, are forms, brought forth out of a universe filled with chaos and disruption. Earth is at a perfect point, so ideal that living things burst out of each and every one of its seams. We are the product of a conscious forming of energy to reflect a living thing, which contains a soul. Your structure is not coincidental, and yet it is.

So why is it that we find ourselves divided? In each direction conceivable, for hundreds of thousands of miles, there is nothing. We are alone, and yet we continue to quarrel. It is not only unwarranted, it is unacceptable. Violence, suffering, and hardship are pervasive on this Earth, and yet they don’t have to be. Somehow we’ve let the instinctual animal, innate in all of us, take over. This animal is controlled by our minds and it has led us astray. It was a necessary commodity for our survival and evolution – for us to get where we are today – but is no longer needed. We’ve reached a point in which we must lay down the animal side of us and embrace the spiritual, so that we are ready to pass from this world to the next with open arms when that time comes.

What is meant by the next world is unclear, as there are certain things unknowable. It is impossible to discern exactly what happens after death, but by looking at nature and its workings, one finds it far more simple and wonderful than ever imaginable. In fact, there is a very high chance there are no answers after death, only continuous life, for infinite existence would be made colorless if we knew the entire truth behind it. Once again our curious mind has tried to know those things indiscernible.

Our brains have thrown in the concepts of good and bad, heaven and hell, black and white. In reality these things do not exist. There is only the now, being in an infinite void of consciousness (spirit) and energy (life). Your immediate surroundings – what your five senses pick up and that sense of presence that is your soul – are all there is. Multiply that by infinite perspectives, beings, and frames of reference, and you find reality. An interlocking existence in space. Living for living’s sake.

The universe as we know it is infinite. Theories exist that claim numerous universes are present, showing the truly vast and immeasurable size and depth of the place we call home. Truth, stability, and safety never exist in this home, as everything is bound to chance, but when living in the Present one does not worry about tomorrow and thus this fact is made void. To truly be a child of nature and the universe, one must give up all that they hold dear – even their own identity and sense of “I” – for the larger experience. Think of lives as days, days as lives. You will soon pass from this one into a new one. More people, places, and discoveries are to be found there. Reality is the universe experiencing itself. You are a traveler on an endless journey, where the destination is now. To truly let go. To not think or judge. To simply listen, smell, see, taste, and touch. That is to simply live. And to live simply is to live entirely.

Which brings us to the age we’re now living in; the opposite of these supposed truths. We live for objects and possessions, superficiality and fame. We are a “give me/I want/mine” collective that is self-absorbed and passé. We look at others as objects to sell, destroy, and defeat. We call ourselves individuals and see entire populations as insignificant. But when one person suffers, even if it be on the other end of the world, we all suffer, for we are all intricately linked. You may be in comfort now, but in a universe built on balance, things are bound to even out. Only by living for today, selfless and un-proud, can one truly sleep at night and rest peacefully when death is upon them.

It is said that we only truly live in the moments before our death. What we must do is spread those minutes across our lives, only then will we see the beauty of it all. The sole sin is boredom and indifference in a world so miraculous as our own. You will soon leave this place and may never return again (if so, as another being, be it a bird, a flower, or another human - or something entirely inconceivable). Cherish your time here as you, but never forget that you are not who you think you are. You belong to nature, each and every part of you, but nature is incomplete without you. It built you out of promise, and that’s where your significance lies. From the simplicity of a glass of water to the power of a rushing waterfall, one must see the beauty in all things big and small, before they find peace in their own heart. We must become one in every way possible. There can no longer be favoritism or prejudice.

A tree bears its fruit for each and every one of us equally. But it expects us to take only the amount we need. So why is it that parts of the world live in gluttony, greed, and materialism, while others cannot even find a meal? We say we care, but do we really? If we did there would not longer be hunger. Thousands upon thousands of men, women, and children would no longer suffer and die for no reason other than that the rest of the world would not share with them the love and relaxation they themselves cherish so much. Until the trivial concerns of this society are done away with, the world will continue to suffer. Until we realize we are not owed a large car and house, or seconds at dinner, or fortune, or fame, or piles of money atop money, we will never be content. Why is it that so many people in the riches and most fortunate part of the world still suffer at heart? It’s because they know they’re living unjustly, and that animal/mind side of them has taken over and told them it was okay.

They have sacrificed true universal contentment for the shallow desires and comforts of beasts. Life is not easy, but it does not have to be as hard as it is. When we come together as one we will see this. When borders and other forms of separations are forfeited we will find international happiness. When license plates say “Earth,” and when we truly live for today and for each other, that is when euphoria and bliss, beauty and pleasure immeasurable, are found.

Wars are never necessary. No matter what rhetoric or propaganda is used to defend them, they are always a means of separation – a way to keep one party safe and the other submissive. There must be debate and negotiations. Humbleness and humility are the only ways towards peace. Anything else fought is a losing battle. Fire can never destroy fire, this is evident by the fact man has been fighting man for millennia and still does so to this day. Why is it that so many nations spend so much of their GDP on their military?

All militaries are unnecessary, from the U.S. to Pakistan, France to Venezuela, Russia to North Korea. They serve only to separate, kill, and destroy. They are not made up of evil people, but as a whole form something savage and destructive. We all long for peace and harmony on the personal level, so why not on the global level, too? Why is it that our military develops and evolves time and time again, yet schoolchildren can’t get proper education and much of the world is still illiterate? Why are hundreds of thousands of people blown to pieces (quite literally) and yet schools crumble after years of neglect? This is pointless, foolish, immature, and quite frankly, outrageous. We are currently embracing all the negative aspects of our childhood - most notably ignorance - when we should be embracing the positive, such as a clean and clear look at the world, and an unconditional appreciation for all things, similar or not.

We are currently destroying ourselves and our world. We must become one. Harmony is nonexistent in our current practice towards Earth. We rape the land, never thinking of tomorrow’s consequences. Our planet is big to us, but small and fragile on the grand scale of things. If we continue to treat it as we do, we will fall. When Mother Nature bites back, she bites back hard. If we don’t destroy ourselves first, be it by some sort of nuclear ambition or self-inflicted plague, the enormous effect of our foolish treatment of Earth certainly will.

Only ignorance is to blame for the current state of society and man. People escape the realities of today with the promises of tomorrow. Yet tomorrow does not exist. It may never come. There is no heaven in the accepted sense. Heaven is now. It is the ability to experience a reality with five immersive senses and a spiritual consciousness. To interact with fellow souls on their journey through life. We no longer have the excuse of ignorance. We can no longer be bound by foolish pride. Things must change or mankind will cease to exist, and mankind is too promising a species for that. The world is too marvelous a place to let such a thing happen. Inside the heart of everyman lies reason and a conscience. When we embrace our most subtle inclinations and see ourselves for the truly unique, collective, and equal beings that we are, we will find true happiness on a global scale.

Think of it this way. If you were an extraterrestrial being – or better yet, a baby being born into this world – would you rather emerge into things as they are, or a planet much better? If you could choose to live on this planet from the beginning would you? Keep in mind that you could end up anywhere on Earth, in the poorest slums of Africa or in the throws of war and conflict somewhere far off and unknown to you.

We have to make a place that living things – spirits – would want to be born into. We must build a world that identifies itself as one beautiful, semi-stable mass in an uncontrollable universe.

Envision a world without smokestacks, where clean energy that is renewable and plentiful (think solar, wind, etc.) defeats the self-serving money grabbers of yesterday and today.

Envision a world where people are no longer separated by foolish beliefs in an afterlife that doesn’t exist. What if you find yourself reborn into this world, stuck with the same problems as now? People must live for today and see this world as the heaven they so actively (and needlessly) pursue.

Envision a world where the selfish no longer role around in their own greed and money, and where all people, regardless of monetary gain, are equal. Money does not exist. In the end it is only numbers, paper, and interest. It is our belief in it that helps it survive. It must be done away with. No person should have any more than another. Just as a tree bears its fruit for all, we must live so that each person gets their fare share. One day it may be you in the unlucky seat.

Envision a world where nature is respected and all recognize themselves as a part of it. Man is not above nor below it. Man is of it, as are all plants and animals. The belief that man can have dominion over other animals in the animal kingdom is a farce. One day you may come back as the piglet bound for the slaughterer. Animals are conscious as we are. You know it as does everyone else. Now accept it.

Envision a world where God did not create earth, but is of it, for all the good and ill.

Envision a world where we see ourselves as one. We all have hands and feet, brains and eyes, noses and tongues, ears and hearts. And most of all, we are all conscious and feel. There is no separation except false separation.

Envision a world that faces reality. One that quits hiding behind false falsettos. Until we acknowledge that our similarities run far more deep than our differences, will we truly find equality and happiness for all. Also, we must come to terms with the fact that is death. Living in a dream world will not change things. Remember that the infinitude of life is seen everywhere in nature. You have been before and will come back again, forever. It will not be in a fake heaven where you live in gluttony and pleasure, but in the vast, fair, universal phenomenon right before your eyes.

Envision a world where truth, knowledge, and harmony are international realities.

There is one thing we must realize, and it’s not that hard to do. We are all living on this giant globe, this giant rock that we call Earth, floating around the Sun, surrounded by empty space. Do you realize we’re floating in space?

We are the human race on planet Earth.

So the question is, why the separation? No matter what color our skin is, no matter what country we live in, no matter what our religion is, no matter what our political values are, no matter what culture we’re raised in, no matter what our perspective is...when it comes down to it, we are all human beings on planet Earth.

In realizing this, we begin to see that we’re all the same in the end. We are all born, we all die, we all look up at the stars, we all breathe the air, we are all nourished by the fruits of the Earth and kept warm by the Sun. We’re all sharing this Earth, trying to survive, trying to be fulfilled. We’re all one.

Embrace Oneness with an open heart, and let us work in harmony with each other and with nature to put an end to the unnecessary suffering on Earth, the planet that we all share.

Equality under the Sun. Togetherness on Earth. Oneness in spirit.

The more you live in the present, the more fulfilling life gets. Time will slow down; you will see the magic and wonder of life you saw as a child, and you will experience it without the ignorance and all the negative emotions of childhood.

Child-time: Time is subject to perception, and that is the reason it moves slower for children. Do you remember how long the summer used to last?

Summer actually does last longer from a child's perspective. The more aware you are, the slower time travels, because each moment contains more life. The older you get, the stronger the mind gets. You receive less life, and time moves faster from your perspective and experience. A child receives more of life, because his/her mind has not completely taken over his/her life yet. The world you saw as a child is still here; you just cannot see it anymore. The world did not change; you changed. You became less aware. Kids still see it.

You live more from birth to the age of ten than from age ten to a hundred.

When you know the truth, you become more aware again, and you will see life like you did then. Soon you will be able to see life better than a child sees it or any animal has ever seen it. You will see the real world, an enchanted world.
